History

Established in 2003.

After working for a couple other painting contractors who focused strictly on production, and 2 years in college campus maintenance, Shawn ventured out on his own to provide top quality painting services to his community.

Shawn combines attention to detail, a demand for excellence he acquired in the military, and great personal relations into a business dedicated to quality workmanship at a fair price and guaranteed customer satisfaction.

The business has grown from moonlight jobs after work, to a professional business that employs 6 full time employees.

ST Home Improvement is currently fully licensed and insured to protect the customer, their property, and its employees, should an accident ever occur.

The workers are all trained in «Lead-​Safe» practices and have spent the last 4 summers preserving and restoring over a dozen historic properties in the Arrow Rock area. We provide high-​end interior painting and Exterior spray or brush finishes to meet your needs.

Business Owner

Shawn is a 41 year old father of 3 children. Married in 1994, he celebrates 20 years of marriage to his bride Tatiana.

Shawn grew up in Slater, graduated from Marshall Highschool and Missouri Valley College.

His history includes:

10 years in retail and service of satellite systems, 6 years self-​employed.

9 years military service

4 years industrial maintenance work

2 years college campus maintenance

11 years self-​employed painting contractor
