Vogel Disposal Service Inc

For the second week in a row my trash has been left behind. At least they picked up my recycling. They leave trash cans in the road or in the middle of my driveway. Often they only empty trash cans partially or leave cans and bottles scattered on the street at the base of my driveway. Then you can never get through on their «customer service» line. If I could rate them a negative 5, I would. Absolutely horrible.

Vogel Disposal Service needs to train their Customer Service representatives. I was in in Customer Service for 15 years. If I would’ve been so deadpan and non responsive to my customers at my job like they are at Vogel, I would’ve been fired! Once a few years ago I called to tell them that my garb can was still three-​quarters full after they left. I was told by Customer Service to «save it» for next week. When I explained simple physics to the rep stating there won’t be enough room in the can for another full week of garbage, she wasn’t understanding or even empathetic. She continued to talk down to me and argued with me. I asked to speak to a supervisor. She came back on the phone a minute later and said as «courtesy» they would come and empty it the next day. A «courtesy» to re-​do what they should’ve done right in the first place… really? I probably wouldn’t have even remembered that situation if she hadn’t
insulted me by calling it a «courtesy» to pick up my garbage. I felt like they thought they were doing me a big favor! … Today I called to pay my bill over the phone. Took the payment in a way that felt like I was filling out a form. No personality. I understand their business is literally garbage, but I would LOVE the opportunity to train the people who work there. I dread any time I have to call there! The prerecording says calls are recorded for quality assurance. Do they REALLY listen to these calls? Really?

would not use them for any type of service, Commercial or Residential. Poor service with trash pickup, and customer service, can’t get a hold of responsible person.

Vogel Disposal is awful to deal with. We, in good faith, paid money for our trash collection before we moved and we prorated. They now intend to collect the remainder of that money — even after a person named John told me that the payout was a certain amount… they want to come back and collect more money AND slap us with a late fee. Apparently, the business manager will call me back — but they said I could go to collections. Then she said I could pay half of the bill or go to collections. This is bad faith … I held up my end of that bargain — did what they TOLD me to do and paid the correct amount. This person named John told me the pay out = which we paid on March 28^th.
Seriously Vogel? I live in California now and am SO grateful that I will never ever need your services again.
I have dealt with the awful people at Vogel for ten years. They are horrible and mean and need to learn more about customer service.
