Established in 2011.

Kat’s Cakes was started in the kitchen of our owner, Katherine Thomas in June 2011. She started out making cakes for friends and family and is now open 6 days a week, serving the westbank of N.O. with a variety of cakes and treats. Kat’s Cakes is based around custom orders and personal service at the best prices around.

Katherine Thomas is a self taught cake artist with the creativity and talent needed to make the best custom cakes in the NOLA area. We are always taking new classes and keeping the shop updated with the most current techniques and designs to offer the most up to date cakes for your event.
