I don’t know him and have no business with him, State Farm Insurance is the worst, Please stop harassing me, I don’t know you & have no business with you.
From the other review, no one likes you. State Farm is dishonest and unorganized.

Those who follow me on Unilocal over the years know that I enjoy infusing an intricate tale within my reviews. However on this occasion, this company in no way deserves such a privilege. It is my duty to warn every potential customer of the many, many pitfalls that come with choosing such a deplorable insurance provider.
I changed my permanent residence to Louisiana in August of 2014 and I had selected State Farm to be my automobile insurance provider based on the recommendation of a colleague, who is currently also a customer and who was referred to by their attorney. I had several lengthy conversation with State Farm representatives over the phone and decided on coverage; $ 736 being my six month premium, going into effect on August 2^nd.
On August 10^th, I received a call from State Farm questioning me about an accident that I had over 3 years ago. No one was injured, no other vehicles were involved and no tickets were written. I had struck a large and very deep hole that had filled with water, which resulted in severe damage to my undercarriage. I was asked if the repair costs were greater than $ 1500, which I stated that they were. Practically all accidents cost in excess of $ 1500, especially if the repairs require body work. The representative said that was all the information she needed and the call ended. Five days later, I received a notice of coverage termination. The reason given was that I had not provided information of my accident, which I had indeed done. After a lengthy phone call with State Farm, I was told the notice was «sent in error».
Three days later, I received another notice of coverage termination along with an attached check for the refunded amount remaining on my policy. I called State Farm immediately and was told to cash the check but that again, it was «sent in error» and if I cashed the check, that amount would have to be repaid on the next quarter bill. One week later, I received a completely new bill, with a new effective date of October 10^th and a new and much more costly premium of $ 864. I called both the State Farm 800 number and the local branch; both departments giving me totally differentiating information. One side told me my policy had indeed been cancelled and then reinitiated with new prices; the other stated that my original policy was still in effect. My belief is that State Farm wished to punish me for this accident from several years ago, my only one in over 20 years of safe driving, and the only way to do this was to terminate my existing policy and rewrite a new one, which they did. I also cashed the check for the refunded amount as instructed, only to discover that State Farm stopped payment on it for some unknown reason thus, I was charged $ 12 as a further penalty. Listen close, kids because the story gets better…
Once again, I called State Farm and rained down on them like an Alabama thunderstorm, hotly questioning their integrity as a business while pressing them to lower my costs. What I was offered was a device called Drive Safe, which plugs into your vehicle to record the time in which one travels, speed, distance, etc. I was assured this contraption would substantially lower my overall costs while providing me an additional 5% discount for simply having it plugged in. The device never arrived in the mail. Since it had never been delivered to my residence, my premium cost jumped another $ 60. While I was on the phone disputing the additional charge with State Farm, the representative told me that it was my fault for not plugging the device in to receive the discount, utterly disregarding the fact that I never received it as I should have. Based on the exhaustive conversation surrounding such a ridiculous set of circumstances, I am led to believe that State Farm’s phone representatives must be on the low end of the evolutionary chart.
Once I had received the in-​vehicle device, I quickly learned that State Farm charges you for use of this device; $ 5 per month for GPS, Emergency Road Side Assistance, etc., all features that I currently possess WITHOUT the use of the device. When I called State Farm regarding this fact, the representative was quick to back-​pedal, explaining that «while the device does help lower premium costs, it does cost a monthly fee and therefore, we don’t typically push customers to use that service». Then, why even offer it to me at all?!
Last week, I received another bill from State Farm with a new $ 45 increase in my overall premium costs. I called State Farm again and this time, I was told it was due to a state-​wide increase. I explained that since using the Drive Safe device since October, I have not witnessed a single dollar decrease in my premium charges. The representative then told me that in order to reduce my premium amount, I could add my wife to the policy. In what fresh Hell would I ever convince my wife to join this circus show?! My policy is up in February and I am jumping ship faster than a Titanic passenger!
