Excellent selection, and customer service that is assumed without being patronizing. I mean, I can carry that 40 lb. Bag of bird seed, but thanks for being so nice!

Love Mares-​Z-​Doats! Huge Selection, clean store and friendly staff. I love their chocolate lab that’s always hanging around the store, I think his name is Chip. You can bring in your own pets, and they have so many specialty items! We always buy our dogs food there and prices are pretty reasonable. Forget the pet stop and go to Mares-​Z-​Doats the next time you want to get something for your pet!

Going into Mare-​z-​doats as a pet owner is like being a toddler in a toy store! I’ve grown up in the area, and used to think it wasn’t as fun because they don’t sell any furry animals in there (just fish), but now that I’m grown up I appreciate the fact that you don’t have to be concerned that they contribute to puppy mills and such. Infact they tend to be frequent contributors to our local humane society. As a dog trainer they have most of the supplies myself and my clients need to be successful. It’s really just a fun place to go, you can bring your dog with and see what toys he will like etc. My least favorite part is sometimes the costs of certain items, but it is worth it to support a local business. (They also give 5% off everytime you show that you are an owner to our Marquette Food Co-​op!) Mare-​z-​doats has an awesome array of pet foods to choose from. If you do your research you will see most large chain stores don’t carry very high quality brands, (Mare-​z-​doats also carries some low quality brands) but here they have a lot, and educated staff to help you decide! Check it out, it seems that they are constantly growing!
