Crossroads Restaurant & Lounge

This is a true up north café: off the main road, wood, deer heads, rack for snowmobile helmets, and hearty food. Stopped in on a Saturday morning after a brisk ski at the adjacent Blueberry Ridge Pathway. Breakfast menu was complete, creative, diverse. Passed up the Trailriders breakfast of tenderloin tips and went for the biscuit with scrambled egg and ham and covered with gravy; my parter had the western omelet. Everything was tasty. Appreciated the large cup of coffee. Several locals affirmed the dinner menu, especially the whitefish; we will have to make a return visit. The beer and bar looked appealing.

I’ve been here twice with differing experiences.
Once for Friday Fish Fry. It was crowded and a bit noisy, but not in a bad way. The fish was quite good and the service easily competent. I might go again, but my second experience turned me off to the place.
The second time was late on a weekday evening. I had just flown back home to Marquette and my wife and I stopped in on the drive home. The one person working, while totally aware of us, was non-​responsive to our needs, and surly to dismissive when we asked questions. At one point I even said to him «Seriously?!» when he snickered at us. Perhaps we weren’t the usual types who go there, but that does not justify the treatment we got. To add insult to injury, the sandwich I got was horrible.
You take your chances.

It’s okay… I ordered the pizza sticks and they’re bland. I also ordered the pepperjack burger. There’s absolutely no «heat» to it but the protein was cooked great and moist. I’d go back but I probably would venture out first.

Visiting my family in Marquette, I was looking for a casual bar with great food. Unilocal has never steered me wrong, so I decided to try Crossroads Bar. Unilocalers you’ve done it again. This place was great. This place is huge. It has a bar side and a restaurant side. Both families and individuals were here.
The food was excellent! The waiter asked if there was anything missing and my reply was, «Only more napkins could make this pulled pork better.» Actually, there was a tad too much sauce, but in my book, too much is better than not enough. My husband had the Cuban sandwich which he shared a bite with me. It was a little unconventional since every other Cuban that I’ve had has roast pork and ham with Swiss and pickles. This one had chicken, instead of the pork, and boy was it good. Side salad was cold, crisp and fresh.
The waiter was johnny on the spot, but I didn’t get his name. Everything here was great. The only other thing I have to say is to my son, «Why haven’t you been here?!»

Happened on his place as we were traveling on the local snowmobile trails, and saw a sign for food. We were pretty hungry, so we chose blindly. Plus, the trail literally takes you to the parking lot.
The food was amazing! As was the service. Seriously, no complaints. I had the open-​faced roast beef sandwich served over mashed potatoes (my mouth is watering just thinking of it), and my hubby tried the cheesesteak. It seemed as if everything was homemade, and fresh. Slaw was really good, creamy and sweet.
Definitely recommend Crossroads! If we’re ever sledding through the area again, we’ll be planning this as a stop!

Wow! Took a group of 28 to this restaurant and they helped make it a great night. I had the stuffed whitefish and it was to die for. The service was outstanding and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

We were very impressed with our meal! The cheese sticks and chicken club pizza were very good! I would definitely recommend stopping!

They have an excellent fish fry on Friday nights. They seem to be super busy but it never takes long to get a table or food. They have excellent services who are experienced. Fantastic family run restaurant!

Awesome restaurant. They have a full bar, some TV’s, and A LOT of tables. Their pizza is one of the best I’ve ever had. I believe they have Coke products, I forgot since I haven’t been there in over a month. Overall, awesome restaurant. If you are looking for somewhere with really good pizza, go here.
UPDATE!!!
I had the Lake Superior Whitefish Fillet when I went there today. All I can say is– BEST. FISH. EVER! This stuff is SOOOOOO good! You have to come to this restaurant!

Awesome Fish Fry! Great Menu! Decent prices… Try their pizzas! Chicken Club would be my favorite! Also, full Mexican Menu on Thursdays!!!
