History

Established in 2001.

All About Services was started in Ishpeming by Dan Howerzyl and Scott Bouma. They owned and operated the business as a partnership for three years. In 2004 the business was sold to Doug Kitchel who moved the company’s location to Marquette. Doug has expanded the company and now offers complete exterior cleaning for both residential and commercial applications. This includes not only window cleaning but siding and deck cleaning, gutter cleaning and holiday lighting. Four year ago All About Services introduced high efficiency LED holiday lighting to Marquette and landed the Marquette City as one of their customers. Since then All About Services has developed this business and continues to grow in this field. Now in 2011 All About Services is operated with three full time employees plus the owner, Doug Kitchel.

Doug Kitchel moved to Marquette from Boulder, Colorado in 2004 upon finishing his Bachelors in Science in Geography to be with his then girlfriend Jamie Grunert who was pursuing a nursing degree at Northern Michigan University. He was able to purchase All About Services from Dan Howerzyl in 2004 after having been an employee for three months in the spring of 2004. Since that time Doug and Jamie were married and continue to live in Marquette, MI with their dog Copper. Doug enjoys the outdoors. He likes to cross country ski and ice fish in the winter, and fish, sail, bike, hike and hunt during the non winter months.
