Still waiting to try about the rave reviews of the food here. Tables are open but not bussed while we are waiting in line with he typical 20 minute or longer wait estimate.

My go to place for breakfast. The options are AMAZING. I love coffee, so the fact that they offer different types is awesome, and they bring out a whole pot for you. Great variety of juices/smoothies and i love that you get the option of fresh squeezed! My favorites are the Lemon Blueberry Dream pancakes and the Wilbur Skillet. So yummy!

Breakfasts and lunches are excellent with very friendly service. The place can get packed so make sure you are ready to wait. The coffee is top notch!

The Turning Point used to be one of my favorite bistros in the area. Not sure what happened, but they seem to have experienced a complete changing of the guard including management, host staff and wait staff. Since the change, the service and food quality have diminished greatly. It no longer feels like a hidden gem. Now it feels like a small chain restaurant, where service is hit or miss, as is the food.

Love this place for brunch/breakfast. Excellent coffee and food! Haven’t been disappointed with anything I have tried here yet. Can get loud at busy times.

You can’t go wrong with a Turning point and the Marlton location is no different. It’s good food, typically doesn’t take too long and service is well above average. What I love most is they are always very accommodating, for any food swaps or restrictions.

Shame on me for not reviewing this place earlier. I’ve been here so many times now that I don’t know where to start. There is always a decent sized wait but have no fear, you can order food from their bar area. The offer breakfast/lunch options. Menu is full of options and they always have new things. My fiancé and I always debate between their lunch options or breakfast but regardless of what we get its always on point. From their French toast, breakfast bowls, to their soups and sandwiches, it never fails. Come hungry, leave full and happy! :)

Ordered French toast, a chicken Caesar wrap, and an egg white omelette. everything was just ok. Nothing overwhelming with flavor. The French toast however was fluffy and light. The chicken Caesar wrap was quite small and Es disappointed with that. The egg white omelette was pretty bland in flavor and need much added salsa to bring out the flavor. I wouldn’t rush back to get here again but I may return in the future. Staff at the front counter was very nice, warm, and welcoming. The restaurant itself is clean.

What a great place. If you are looking for a delicious and hearty breakfast this is the place. Coffee is excellent and the omelettes were delicious.

2 thumbs down from me today! Front girls rude and could never give an accurate wait time. Called ahead, still waited 20 minutes passed the time we were told, asked for an update, told 20 more minutes. Fine. Waited another 30 minutes, asked for another update, told«I can’t tell you a time. People are eating and sitting. I can not physically push them.» «But 20 minutes.» No. That’s your job. Just tell the truth. And a little nicer next time.

There has been a lot of hype around Turning Point for a while now and they just opened a new location in Cherry Hill, so I decided to finally check it out. I’d heard that they have a gluten free menu and seems like a chill brunch spot. What I discovered is that while yes, it’s a chill brunch spot, it is not very gluten free friendly and it’s PACKED. I think all of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees was waiting for a table for brunch and there is really not enough space to wait. The place is really cute and has a very relaxed, almost Jersey shore vibe but it’s not that big. During the summer they open up tables outside but for the winter there was not enough room for everyone waiting. I unfortunately was very unsatisfied with their ability to provide safe gluten free options, as they would not attempt to provide options without cross contamination but at least they were very upfront about that fact. The coffee was great and everyone that I came with enjoyed their meals! So if you’re not like me and plagued by tons of dietary restrictions, I would most definitely check out Turning Point!

I came here for lunch today and it quickly became one of my favorite places in the area. The food is good and they give generous portions. But the customer service is outstanding. Everyone who works here is super friendly and accommodating. Although it was busy on a Saturday afternoon the employees still found time to visit the bar/counter(where I was seated) to say hello to their regulars. It was my first time here but I felt like I also received VIP treatment. In a time when businesses are primarily worried about their bottom line this was truly a refreshing find. It is obvious that customer satisfaction is a high priority here and that is the main reason I will start to frequent this establishment.

There can be an out-of-control wait during the weekends. We went here and were told it would be 45 minutes. It’s nice they have coffee/tea while you’re waiting(but it was old and never checked in on by anyone when we were there.) Maybe it usually is and was neglected due to how busy it is. The reservation system is super weird. There were people that came after us, and were seated before we were seated. It is definitely not by first-come, first-serve basis. It was frustrating to be skipped over, despite having the same or so party size. It seemed like there were some regulars that might be favored over newcomers. The food was good. They were even accommodating to let me switch the side of homefries for vegetables. I think I’ll give The Turning Point another shot, but front-desk service is definitely where it lost it’s stars here on my first visit.

We had brunch here for the first time today. We made a reservation the day before but it was lost when we got there so the wait was a bit long but we went shopping at the nearby shops so it went quickly. The food was very good and for a good price. I wish there were Mimosa’s on the menu but they did not serve alcohol. Service was decent and when he admittedly forgot to put our order in he brought a small bowl of fruit for us to share while we waited. We did feel a little rushed since we wanted to take our time and talk while we ate, but overall I would highly recommend it for brunch.

My husband and I were both off from work today and decided to go to one of our favourite brunch spots. I called around 10:15a to put my name in for 10:45a «call ahead.» Not a reservation, but close enough to it. We arrive at 10:45a on the dot and check in. The place is an absolute mob scene because it’s MLK Jr day and the whole town is off from school/work. The hostess told me it was still going to be about 20 minutes; fair enough. After about 10 minutes(yay!), we get called back to our table. Our waitress, Farrah, was awesome! Super attentive and innovative. I ordered coffee and my husband had ordered hot tea but because it was so busy, they were completely out of tea pots. So when she came back with my coffee, she explained that it was going to take a while for the hot water to come out– fine. About 2 minutes pass and she brings out a to-go cup filled with hot water and the tea bag– she said she didn’t want him to have to wait. Gold star for Farrah! So we order our food and it comes out in about 10 minutes. It was absolutely cooked perfectly. I got a Wilbur skillet and my husband got a custom omelette with Monterey Jack, cheddar, green peppers and bacon. It all came out wonderfully and it was so fresh. This is status quo for this place. Everything is always awesome I’ve never once been disappointed or thought something could’ve been better. I’ll always give 5 stars and I tell EVERYONE about this place!

Ate here today and had a fantastic brunch! We both ordered the French Toast and OMG what a delicious meal. One of us had hot chocolate, the other the coffee press. Only reason for 4 stars not 5 is slow kitchen service. Our server was great, just took a long time for the food.

I will be the first to admit that I’m not a breakfast or brunch expert. It is not my favorite meal, and as far as egg options go, I can usually prepare them better myself. But I do crave French toast, pancakes and waffles from time to time. And when I see unique offerings of these, I usually have to try them. I kept seeing Unilocal reviews of various TP locations, so it has been on my radar. With a day of fall activities planned in the Marlton area, this spot was selected. I hesitate to give 5 stars after one visit and 2 options sampled, but I’m more than a fan already. My gf ordered the banana, nut and granola pancakes, she loved them and I agreed. And I was pleased to see that it came with real maple syrup. My choice of a special of the month was even better, fall harvest pumpkin waffle. It came with pumpkin spice whipped mascarpone, dried cranberries, candied walnuts and a brown sugar rum sauce. This was definitely the best waffle I ever had, and possibly the best breakfast. As a hot chocolate lover I am thrilled with their interesting choices of this beverage, the s’mores was great. We found the service to be excellent on this weekday, in fact our server took the time to recommend their rewards program. We took her advice and it seems to be a great deal. We are going back soon and I will update this if our experience is not as good as the first. But for now, 5 batter-tastic Unilocal

I hate that this restaurant toppled my now former banana nut pancakes at ‘The Lamppost’ in Blackwood, but I have to give credit and props where rightfully due! I ordered the ‘crunchy monkey’ pancakes(see pix), which boasted fresh bananas w/honey coated granola — ummmmm! The combination was so good, plus the great taste of the pancakes themselves. I think I probably made happy sounds after each and every bite. These things were sumptuous!!! In fact, I got a ‘Perks Card’($ 10 for the year) to show w/each future visit. I know you get a free entrée on your birthday(either for breakfast or brunch) and also a free special at our next visit, which shall be soon! This restaurant is clean and big, yet also cozy and inviting w/adorable & seasonal décor. Even the powder room was decorated nicely. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable as well. It’s only one visit but I honestly couldn’t find one flaw in this place!

I was really looking forward to trying a different type of restaurant for breakfast considering we usually go out to our typical Jersey diners on the weekends. The prices seemed right on point for this type of establishment and I was glad we did not wear our normal sweats/sneakers diner attire because everyone seemed to be dressed in their Saturday best. We were seated right away(Saturday around 10am) in a corner booth. I ordered from the a salted caramel mocha-chino which was delicious! I wanted to try their French press coffee but since my husband doesn’t drink coffee and it comes with 3 – 4 cups, I opted for a different option and I’m really glad I did. My daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes which she barely ate(and barely had any chocolate) but I’m going to chalk this one up to her not having much of an appetite because they tasted fine to me. My husband ordered the cornbread french toast(with caramel sauce, apple slices, and vanilla bean mascarpone) which was amazing! It was too sweet for his taste, but what does he know? I ordered the Huevos Rancheros which I always order if a restaurant offers them. I was really disappointed all around with my meal. It came on a huge soft tortilla and was mostly just potatoes. I like when huevos rancheros comes with a crispy tortilla so I can pile the eggs, salsa, and avocado on top. Unfortunately, I did not eat any of the tortilla. There was just a tablespoon sized portion of salsa which was really bland, only two small slices of avocado, and if I counted correctly only 3 pieces of chorizo! They also put a dollop of sour cream on top and by the time it got to the table it was already melting which in my opinion reminded me of what a dip looks like 3 hours after being served at a hot summer BBQ. All in all I really only ate scrambled eggs with potatoes, cilantro, cheese, and black beans. Service was also just OK. My husband loves to ask our servers what they like off of the menu. He was trying to decide between two of the french toast dishes and she really didn’t seem to have an opinion on either dish. She did not come over to see if we needed anything throughout the meal, even though we were seated practically on top of her station. When she came to see if we needed a take-home box for my daughter’s pancakes, we told her no thank you because she did not like them and only ate a bite or two. She did not apologize, but just said«Okay, I will get your check» and walked away. It took 15 minutes for her to bring our check! We were so annoyed by then as soon as she gave us the check my husband handed her our card just to get the process moving faster and to give her a hint that we definitely wanted to get out of there! I’m not completely writing off the Turning Point because I did love my mocha-chino and would have enjoyed the corn bread french toast if I would have ordered it for my meal. I’m curious about how their brunch and lunch options taste and will come back if I’m in the area looking for a pick-me-up and some french toast.
