Established in 2002.

Jon Palaima Masonry is a small owner operated company. All work is done by myself and a helper.

Over the years I’ve become an quality builder of many types of masonry. I am well versed in the basic masonry materials of stone, brick, block and mortar and can work with these materials in all types of applications. In addition to new construction and repair, I am educated in the complexities and nuances of historical restoration.

My work comes primarily from referrals and word of mouth. I’ve built strong relationships with my clients, this and the quality of my work has contributed to my business success over the past decade.

Business Owner

I was born in Worcester and lived in MA my entire life.

Started out in masonry in 1993 working for my cousin, Mike Flanagan in Nantucket. I was a laborer on dry laid stone walls and other hardscape structures.

In 96 Worked for a Japanese Design and Build firm and honed my skills as a hardscape builder. Went on my own in 1999 and worked as a sub contractor for a few masons, where I learned the trade of masonry. Started my on business in 2002. In 2005 I went to The Campbell Center for Historical preservation and learned the history and practices of masonry pre-​1920.

I live in Marlborough, MA. I’m married with two children. I run my business out of my home.
