The manager (Jim Smith) is extremely difficult to deal with. He was quite pleasant in the beginning answering our questions about the specific product we wanted to purchase. He stretched the truth about the machine to make it more appealing to us. He said one thing about the machine and a technician from Jura said «no, whoever told you that is flat out lying… these machines don’t do that».
Once we figured it out firsthand we wanted to return the item. That’s when he turned nasty and rude placing blame on us saying that we’re not giving the machine a real chance. We did give it a chance… It doesn’t do what Jim said it would do so now we want to return it. He started talking about a 20% penalty fee from the total price for returning it… That’s when I started getting confused and a little upset. I e-​mailed him about 4 times saying that his refund policy is full money back… it’s only 20% off when a part is missing or damaged (which was not the case for us). He was just trying to make a chunk of money on a return which really speaks volumes to me about his business ethic.
After the e-​mails went unnoticed, I called him once a day. Everyday he had a new excuse.
«Not at the office». «These return things take time, it’s a process». It was a headache.
Save yourself from the stress of having to deal with this man, please.

do not buy from this site. my jura stopped working after 2 weeks. it just will not turn on. crap customer service. i get no call or email back.

I had a great experience with this company. I was ordering a coffeemaker as a gift for my mother and wanted suggestions. Jim Smith took the time to walk me through a few good options. The gift arrived promptly and my mother loves it!

I received the replacement unit exactly as promised. I would definitely do business with these guys again.

I called Jim this morning to order a new Jura machine. I am way out in Arizona and found 1^st in Coffee on my internet search. My current Jura worked great for over 3 years until I was too rough on it and jammed up the machine pretty good. I rushed and pulled the bottom tray out and dislodged something and could not get it back in. I was giving up on it until Jim wanted to try and fix it over the phone with me. WOW, he walked me through it and fixed it in 2 minutes, and just had to reset the machine in a certain way.
They already had me as a customer for life and this just reiterates why. Instead of selling me a 1000 plus machine and making a sale, Jim did what was in my best interest and saved me a ton of money from buying a new one. Thanks Jim, .

I purchased a Mazzer Mini Type A, which was entirely out of stock at other resellers. I wanted black, all they had was silver. They communicated with me, I accepted the substitute and it arrived all the way across the world in a week in perfect condition. I found the sales representative very personable and helpful. I would buy from them again.

0 STARS — DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GUY (JIM SMITH) AND DO NOT TRUST HIM — He sold us a piece of crap refurbished Jura unit that we paid a fortune for. We have cared for it impeccably. We have had nothing but problems with this and we cannot even get it to produce a shot anymore — it is completely unusable and he WILL NOT stand behind what he sells — he just refers you to the manufacturer. Total crap. This guy has no business being in business… I don’t care HOW polite you act on the phone when you are trying to sell someone a piece of junk and make a profit — what I care about is what your attitude is like when someone has a problem. It’s amazing how that politeness goes out the window along with any desire to give customer service. He should NOT be in business… total SCAM ARTIST!!!

0 stars to be clear. They scammed with my order, sent me the wrong part and when I wanted to exchange it, they said no returns no exchange it. What a clever way to make money!

I ordered two types of my favorite coffee — Kimbo. It was marginally less in price than the other two on-​line competitors I’m aware of but they ship for free if it’s over $ 50. The other sites are $ 75 and $ 100. It also shipped very fast. I ordered on a Tuesday in the afternoon and it was here on Thursday. My shipment came from NJ and my home is a few states away, still it was quick. The packaging in the box was old newspaper but it works and is better for the environment. I will order from them again.

My God!!! Be very careful, and do your homework, I do not recommend this site for buying an expensive espresso machine like the one I bought, first of the A hole that answers the phone is royal ass, be prepared to be hung up on a few times if he doesn’t feel like dealing with a complaint, you will be getting the run around, his name is Jim Smith, he is nasty as can be! I bought a machine, and had an issue, my package went out, but he decided to do an intercept and even though problem was fixed on my end, he cancelled the shipment with UPS, he is a liar and a nightmare, I do not recommend, there is zero customer service and he seems to be bipolar, he cannot handle the calls, before that I got hung up on quite a few times before getting through, his nasty attitude certainly reeks, it’s very bad, seriously he is got mental problems!
Refused to help me and ruined everything with the order, it was the last machine, but Espresso and their Regional Manager for the East coast, will be contacting him, he treated me like less than dirt, wouldn’t speak on the phone, and hung up, he also transfers the calls to his cell phone, is beyond pathetic, I have all proof of my emails asking nicely to handle my issue, but refused and treated me with absolutely zero courtesy or respect…
After speaking to someone from Nespresso’s corporate office I was assured, that the issue would be handled and would contact this Reseller, The CSR @
was very apologetic and helpful.
I’ve bought many Nespresso machines as gifts and for personal use, I’m a faithful customer, but I should’ve known better, regardless, I shouldn’t have been treated this way, this guy should not be manning the phones, he has absolutely no clue, courtesy and acts like a mentally ill person, UNBELIEVABLE, AND MOST UNPLEASANT HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!

Which was DOA and needed refurbishment.
1^st in Coffee just passed the buck to the manufacturer.
If you buy from them, hope you get a good machine and don’t expect ANY service.
