History
Established in 1976.
The name «Tri-Rivers» originated from the three rivers within the district: the Scioto, Sandusky and Olentangy. The original school colors were red, white and blue, but over the years have evolved into blue and grey. The logo featuring three incoming white arrows intertwined with three outgoing blue arrows symbolizes the incoming untrained students and outgoing skilled employees.
In the beginning the focus was vocational training; today career-technical training is the focus, along with emphasis and an increase in number of academic courses.
This goes along with our mission to prepare all secondary and adult students to contribute, advance and succeed in the 21st Century workforce, to be responsible family and community members, and to embrace learning as a life-long process.
Tri-Rivers has served its three primary groups of constituents for over35 years by providing education for high school and adult students as well as providing a community center for the Heart of Ohio.
