Eden Florist & Garden Shop

This business was recommended to me. I have been there three times. Each time they took my name, address and phone number. Not once did I receive a call. They are either extremely poor business people, or are very rude and full of themselves, or don’t want to do business with people in Wareham. I was looking for 10 – 15 shrubs. I guess they just don’t need the business and I will never do business with them.

I love this place. I have been buying flowers and plants from them for over 15 years and have always received fabulous customer service. The plants are beautiful and the arrangements are amazing.

The customer service is horrible!!! I called to ask if they had a Staghorn ferns because I had seen one on a previous trip. She only said, «No» in an rude, «why are you bothering me» sort of tone. When I pressed to see if they would get more in at a later date, she only again said «No.» She made no offer to order one for me or suggest any alternatives. Her lack of effort or helpfulness has made me decide to never again visit the shop.

************************WARNING!!!******************************** We received very high recommendations for this place as a very reasonably priced wedding florist. The pricing was good. The problem we had was that THEY DIDN’T LISTEN!!! We are having a Fall themed wedding and wanted very specific coloring and style. We understood that some of the coloring was not available yet and we were working with them on that. Initially we were told that we would make a return visit to view the mock up in person, but instead of a phone call we received emails with pictures. Since the initial mock up was not with our theme, we asked for some alterations; however, when a lot of time went by without phone calls or emails we called to ask for a status. They were rude and said they sent out emails that we never received, she practically insisted I was lying when I said I never got them. There was no follow up when they didn’t get a response from us, we had to call them. When we did get the pictures of the mock up, no info was included saying that this flower would be replaced with this other one to fit the color scheme, it just seemed very unorganized and unprofessional. The WORST part was after only 2 mock ups the person started avoiding the phone calls from us and then with LESS THAN 2 MONTHS till the wedding she said «I have never had this much trouble with someone approving my mock up, I don’t think this is going to work out» and then backed out on us. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this shop for weddings.

Been here on 3 seperate occasions and each time I was treated poorly. The plant selection is very good, albeit pricey. I don’t mind paying a premium for a local business, but the young women working at the store were very unhelpful on every occasion that I stopped in. I asked several different questions in an effort to decide what plants to buy, and I got only one word answers. Now I will just make the drive & stick with Peckham’s.
