First let me say… didn’t even get to order any food… so this is based strictly on service and cleanliness, which if I could… I would give both a minus zero! The lady at the Welcome Center must get a kick back… she RAVED about this place and another(review already posted)…and we picked this 1st. I so wished I had checked reviews BEFORE walking into this place. The hostess sat us in this booth… which was dirty. I don’t think that table had been cleaned for a few hours and the napkin(which was black) was very dirty. So I asked if we could move… and get a clean napkin… that ticked her off and she moved us to the riser area. She kinda slammed the stuff on the new table and walked right off. I started chocking… due to this man who had the nastiest cologne and his head was pretty much right at our table level. I flagged her over and she just ignored me. A few minutes later, when NO server showed up… we walked out.

So glad we chose to eat at Colton’s tonight despite the Unilocal Reviews. We were seated promptly. My husband and I both had very tender bacon-wrapped filets, the steamed vegetables were fresh and delicious, and our baked potatoes were perfect. Our server, Anna, was very attentive and the food came out in a timely manner. The management came out to check with each table while we were there. We will most definitely eat at Cotton’s again.

«.All three of our meals were pre– prepared or frozen. My Hiwaiian Chicken was nothing but an overcooked breast filet, no taste, with a canned pinapple slice and teriaki syrup poured over the top. That breast could have gone into several of the menu items. Crab cake was a football shaped frozen item. The kids loved the frozen minature corn dogs and fries. Just not much thought in prep; easy meals for the restaurant. Service was good and the décor was typical chain fare. OK for a fast stop but not for a special treat. I wondered if other locations were the same. I’ll try not to go back till I read better reviews.

Service was very helpful and sweet! We weren’t super crazy about our meals and we waited about 45 minutes for our entrees. But we were well looked after the entire time with full drinks and endless buttery honey rolls. A HUGE kudos and sincere thanks to the staff as I left my phone by accident. It was locked up over night and they had it for me first thing the next day when I realized where I’d left it.

This place is like Disney Land run by people who don’t get kids. It has all the stuff to be great, but none of the attention to customer service detail. The staff seems to be oblivious to what needs done. The sad part is that they seem to be sweet people. On an up note the food was very good and the concept works well. It is very much like the Texas Roadhouse experience, but quieter and with more light. Really more of a family atmosphere than the bar feel of Roadhouse. They start with peanuts to shell and eat while you wait(oddly better than Roadhouse). They also bring those wonderful yeast rolls and execute them well. My wife had the fried chicken salad and said it was the freshest salad she has had in years. She really liked it with the exception of not being a big fan of thier honey mustard. I had the 10oz ribeye, baked potatoe and fried okra. The potato was great. The okra was good, but no Cracker Barrel. The steak was thin, but that was my fault for ordering the 10oz. Their steaks have a flavor being aged in a way I am not fond of, but all in all it was good food. A few of killers for us. There was a dog in the restaurant that night and I assume it must be a service dog, but not service dog I was ever around has been allowed to bark ar others who are sitting around. Also a plate of food was dropped in the Isle and although it was seen it was not cleaned even when that table was bussed. Also an employee was in the bathroom at the same time as my wife and left without washing her hands. Bizarre simple stuff to fix. Too bad really. They have a good vehicle, but don’t know how to drive it. There is a four star place here if they manage it right.

i ALWAYS experience an awful time when visiting this location, they’re so freaking lazy. My family and I practically made our own seating arrangements for a party that was reserved. This is just ridiculous. We waited to be seated for thirty minutes and waited for drinks an additional fourty. You do the math.

This is the 3rd time I’ve eaten here. The bartender(Jessica) was nice, but she was wayyy nicer to the gentlemen that sat at the bar next to me. When they arrived, she didn’t even pay attention to me anymore. My steak had a great flavor but was severely undercooked. The baked potato soup was very thick. Disgustingly thick. I got loaded baked potato minus the sour cream and got it with everything on the side except the sour cream. This was the worst experience I’ve had there(that’s why I gave it two stars). I doubt if I’ll go here again, will probably make the drive to another steak house… no matter the distance.

Our waitress was very nice. The food was just Ok. I do like touch with the peanuts on the table and the fresh rolls were delicious. Not sure if I would come here again to eat, but maybe if I am passing by.

Usually the food is pretty good and I like hanging out at the bar even though all the TVs in the restaurant have to be tuned to the same channel. They’ve hired a new bartender who is really awesome. He makes the ones from the past look like they were goofing off. We ordered the most expensive ribeye on the menu, almost 30 bucks. It was full of gristle, barely got two ounces of edible meat out of it. The baked potato that was served with it was overcooked as usual and I know it standard practice, but I hate them adding $ 1 for«loading» it which really means just a few sprinkles of bacon and cheese. In the future I’m thinking about just sitting at the bar and eating peanuts, salad and rolls and drinking beer.

If your looking for a thick, juicy, flavorful steak, This is not the place. Ordered a nine oz. sirloin, cooked medium rare. Received a ¼″ thick steak the size of my plate. Well done. Come on! I sent it back but was still charged for it. When they 1st opened they were Great! Now they serve Bonanza style breakfast steaks. Take my advice, go to Memphis Tn or Southaven Ms for a good steak.

I called and asked if they would give my dad his meal free since it was his birthday(and he was 90 years old) and they said nope. Sad. So, a restaurant who wouldn’t give a 90 year old man on his birthday his meal free gets one star and only because I can’t assign zero stars. Needless to say, I will not be dining there anytime soon. You don’t want to show up at 30 minutes before closing when the owner is not there. They will tell you they were closing and wouldn’t have time to serve you. This happened to me. There where three people at the host stand two were on cell phones. One knocked my wife out of the way running outside to get better reception on her phone. The call must have been important. We we’re not important to them.

Great steak house with reasonable prices! Sirloin tips with onions, green peppers, etc is my favorite. Would add more but husband wants me to eat.
