We are a locally-​owned, full-​line pet store with grooming shop that specializes in taking extraordinary measures to take care of our customers while maintaining a friendly, and CLEAN pet store.

History

Established in 1991.

Mike & Melissa Grayson began Art in Motion solely as an aquarium leasing company. Thus our name ~ Art in Motion — Everchanging Artwork for your Office. As people requested pet supplies from us, item by item, 800 sq ft of our home became a pet store. We moved into a 1200 sq ft storefront at 30^th & the bypass. After one year, we outgrew that space and moved to 20^th & the bypass into a 2400 sq ft space. After two years, we moved into our current 6,000 sq ft space. Mike & Melissa Grayson still own the business and take great pride in maintaining a CLEAN, friendly pet store. We work hard to promote feeding pets a healthy, clean diet as well as educating our customers on the importance of supporting locally-​owned businesses like ours.

Business Owner

Mike is a graduate of Marion High School and Midwestern Baptist College. His past work experience includes being a pastor, a truck driver, an officer manager and he loves to tell stories of all the childhood jobs he had. Mike’s entrepreneurial spirit drives the success of Art in Motion Pets.
