This place is alright for the holiday drinks and anything else loaded up on sugar, but the normal coffee is bad, and all of their cups were designed to leak coffee onto your hand even when standing still.

Just received an exceptional customer service at this Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf today July 15th, 2015. Thank you. I used to love Starbucks. I don’t crave for it anymore, but now I crave for Moroccan Mint Latte and Frozen Lemonade from the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf after a long day at work. They also have free WiFi. Great place to do school homework.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is the start of my day. The happy and eager staff are refreshing and wonderful. The coffee is delicious and the food is great. I especially appreciate that the staff is always trying to help the customer save money or just make sure the drink doesn’t spill(I get this from Clare mostly). My only issue is their cups are poorly manufactured and leak on the part where the cup connects, though thats not the establishments fault.

DONOTORDEROATMEAL! It took them over 20 minutes to get me my oatmeal! Not because it actually took that long to cook, but because she waited until I actually asked where it was to even start the oatmeal. This has happened to me twice — horrible customer service non-apologetic for making me late for work.

Need a nudge of energy in the morning or mid afternoon? I do! I do! Luckily this location is in a great area that I am around much of the day. The service is always great and I have always received speedy service. Inside is clean and plenty of seating if you want to sit in chat. Drinks range from $ 3 – 5 depending on what your coffee/tea obsession is. What I really enjoy is they have specials sometimes where you can receive an 8 oz for only $ 1!!! That’s a lotta good coffee/tea for a $ 1. So stop on by and maybe if you catch me there I will buy you a coffee on me!

It’s bad enough I have to be on this crappy base… I needed internet to take care of some business. This place advertised«free wifi». What a joke. The internet connection was so BAD I couldn’t log in to checku email. The drinks here are too sweet and too expensive. The girl with the hideous green hair was nice enough. Overall this place sucks. It definitely isnt doimg anything to help with morale at this hell hole.

MCCS Contracted store on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton. Multiple orders totally wrong in the past(ordered oatmeal, received parfait). Order takers either DONOTLISTEN or hear what they want to hear. Now this; today, 25 April 2013 @ 07:50. Running late for work. Wanted a healthy breakfast. Stopped for oatmeal. In line behind 5 customers ordering drinks and prepackaged snacks. NOONE behind me in line. Not a single soul. 5 or 6 employees working. I ask for oatmeal. I am told«Sorry the „„custom bar““ is closed. We are short on staff.» «„Custom bar“»??? First time in years I ever heard an order for oatmeal referred to as a «custom bar order». Do you mean to say, the «oatmeal maker» called in sick today? So, all the coffee drinks they serve all day long are NOT«custom» orders? Analogy; I go to Wendy’s at lunch to order a cheese burger but the employee tells me «sorry, the „„custom grill““ is closed today. We are short on staff so we can’t put cheese on your burger.» Do you think this would fly with Wendy’s Corporate? I fail to recognize the difference between a «custom coffee» and a «custom oatmeal». Ludicrous! I call 100% total B.S. If they can’t serve a product that they have and are clearly staffed and equipped to serve but choose not toon a particular day because they are just too busy to serve«„custom oatmeal“» or the pressure is just too great, then STOPOFFERING it altogether. I am DONE with this place. Last straw. Won’t spend another penny of my money with this store even though it is RIGHTONMYWAYTOWORK. Don’t know if management cares. If they don’t, then I certainly don’t either. I will go OUTOFMYWAY to the Starbucks at College and Vandergrift. Starbucks gets the orders right and the only time I have ever been turned down was if they were OUT of a particular item.

Convenient location(Camp Pendleton), which is awesome for me because I like great coffee and I am always at work… So, I’m not stuck going to a gas station or Subway for a cup of joe. Also, the drive through is super fast. I don’t think I have ever waited more than 5 minutes. Maybe I just go at the right times? I’ve never been inside, so no comment there unfortunately. But, they have always provided me with great service and coffee, so 4 stars!

I came here to study and found out that there’s no wi-fi!!! The facility is nice. Plenty of tables. Great tea. But quite disappointed that the wi-fi didn’t work. Kind of useless.

This place is ok but I still like Starbucks chai lattes better. It has a drive-thur, but it’s gets pack in the morning. All in all they have good coffee and the service is great plus I can hit it up in cammies.

I love love love coffee bean. Coffee Bean is so much better than Starbucks. I’m from Seattle but I wouldn’t mind trading starbucks for coffee bean. This establishment is right next to Johnny Rockets. I’ve never ate Johnny Rockets but when I used to visit my boyfrriend, we’d always stop by at Coffee Bean for iced coffee before going on our adventures around San Diego. I dislike starbucks blended coffee drinks because it’s filled with sugar and crap. hah. And I used to be a barista. But I definitely do NOT mind Coffee Bean blended drinks, I actually prefer them. The blended drinks are amazing and perfecto, not too sweet and it tastes oh so amazing. Please move to Seattle :) p. s. there is a drive thru to this location. hah

I go here every Sunday after church and I usually get the same thing a white chocolate. I get my daughter a vanilla steamed milk or a hot chocolate. I have to say I like the white chocolate better than Starbucks but that’s just my opinion. My daughter and I prefer the hot chocolate here as well. It’s delicious. I usually have the same barrister Jayrina, she’s ALWAYS smiling. I look forward to my Sunday time with my daughter here at Coffee Bean.
