I have been tanning since I was 16 and now I’m 25 and this is the best I’ve ever gotten. The whole staff is very sweet I haven’t had any problems yet. The tan itself is really nice. The quality is so much better than the other places I’ve gone before. And I’ve never gotten so many compliments on my tan. …But it is pricey keep in mind

Awesome place. They have the best prices in the area and I never have to wait for a tanning bed. The lamps work well and I get a consistently good tan. The girls who work there in the evening are super helpful and nice. I recommend.

Excellent business establishment all around! Friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt customer service, extremely clean beds, restroom and lobby.
Also– I recently had to start taking medication which has prevented me from using tanning beds. I had purchased a package that I only got to use a few times. The front desk was super helpful in getting me in touch with the owner, who called me the next day. We were easily able to sort out an alternative for me at no loss of funds I had paid — awesome! I’m a customer for life! Spray tans here I come!

I absolutely love the gals at Total Tan MDR! When you need a place to go to do something nice for yrself this is the place to go because they truly love their customers. Morgan is always smiling, remembers your name and gives the best spray tans this side of the Mississippi The infrared Thermal heat wraps feel amazing if u hv any kind of muscle, tendon or joint pain and the place is spotless. I go where I’m appreciated so I appreciate the great customer service at Total Tan MDR!

This is a great tanning salon. It is extremely clean and the staff are wonderful. The hours a conducive to when you need them & the rates are reasonable. They offer specials constantly. I recommend them highly!

I’m so pissed. I got a custom spray tan here yesterday. I got medium I am so orange and spotted and splotchy. My hands are bright orange and I have spots that were just completely neglected –like the sides of my forearms. So I am orange and white all over. Awesome. Thanks total tan marina. I would give 1 star but the girl was nice. Will not be coming back.

First, I went in and got a tan. I havent been to a tanning bed in over 5 years. There was only one girl there and she didnt even walk me to the tanning bed or show me how to use it. Also, i am super pale and she put me in for 15minutes. I could barely sit for 5 days because my behind was PURPLE. Not dark red or pink, PURPLE.
I gave it a second chance thinking, one girl doesnt ruin an establishment. Well, my friend and I bought a package for 8 tans. They put in the system 6 and they refused to change it or try to make it right. Last time I will ever go back!

This place is great! I live in Venice and when I moved out here looked all-​around venice, SM, and the marina for a well priced but not «cheap» tanning place and this is it! I HATE some of these big brand name tanning salons. They charge up the butt and are rude (specifically one on Main in venice). I am SO happy to have found TOTAL TAN where I can park easily, get my nails done next-​door and be in and out every time. and the staff is super friendly and helpful!

I got a great deal for body wrap through groupon. They were able to give me a same day appointment. Very nice and clean facility. I didn’t sweat as much as I was hoping for. But overall it was a very pleasant experience. Would come back soon.

this place is the best! everyone who works here is super friendly and there are awesome deals on certain days. super affordable and awesome service. I sometimes do the beds but the versa and mystic are great too! not streaky or anything, very natural looking!

This review is WAY overdue. I have been using this facility for a couple of years now. The staff is great and always treat me with kindness and are very respectful.
About a year ago I went into the salon to tan and took off my 14K gold Rolex. I was in a big hurry and walked out without my watch. I didn’t realise until the next morning that I had left it there. I was SICK when I realised what I had done.
I immediately called the and they said they had found my watch and had locked it up until the owner called and identified it. I went in and they returned it with a smile.
The negligence on my behalf almost cost me thousands of dollars. This place is fantastic and I would recommend them for traditional bed tanning as well as customised airbrushing!

So I went here for the first time yesterday and I won’t be going back again.
First off After filling In the form the receptionist told me just to wait whilst she dealt with other people as she had to put my details onto the system and it takes a while. Anyway people kept on coming in and I ended up waiting 10 minutes, it only took her a couple of minutes to put me on the system so really she should of made those people wait rather than me.
I told the lady I hadn’t been on a bed in a long time. She told me to use the platinum bed so I said fine. She then told me to use a stronger more expensive bed and I declined and then she went on to tell me it’s because you have to wait for that bed. So I ended up going on the gold bed for 10 minutes which she told me had just had new bulbs put in.
Anyway after 8 minutes the bed was so hot that I jumped off. I woke up today and my whole back legs etc is COMPLETELY burnt. Have been in agony all day and im constantly having to put aloe Vera gel on.
Only go here if you are a frequent sunbed user. Definitely don’t take their advice. So disappointed.

I must ONLY say good things for customer service. Anna help me a great deal on «my last minute tanning». I made a mistake and she offered to help me on any way she could.
Parking and location are good, is clean and I will give a 5 if they had a shower for customers.

I came here for the Mystic Tan. Let me preface this by saying I’ve done a lot of spray tans and self tans for years and have had ups and downs. Mystic is a quick cheap tan and in the past hasn’t turned me orange and I was looking for cheaper option close to home in the winter months in lieu of a custom spray. The first time I came on on the Unilocal deal and used the light color bc I am very fair. Barely changed color. Tried again with medium and it was a little dark but doable for the $ 30 price. Went for my third tan doing medium again, and barely changed color. What this says to me is that the nozzles on the booth are clogged/​need cleaning due to uneven spray and huge discrepancy in results. Overall, it’s clean, and staff is friendly/​helpful. For me I’ll try again but might stick to home tanner on the off season. Worth it if you go Mondays too at the $ 20 price!
Update: after posting this the owner, Phil, contacted me for a do-​over tan. That one was good like the 2^nd one I had done. The customer service here is great and I will be back.

I purchased a groupon for a custom spray tan and went in on a Friday before a pool party to get my tan on. T
The tech went waaayyyyy too dark on me (even though I told her I wanted a light to medium tan) and I have olive skin and already a darkish color.
The facility is nice but not sure if the problem lies with the spray itself or the person spraying it. My tan was uneven, orange and smelled awful. I have had spray-​tans in the past and loved them, not sure what went wrong this time. The only good thing about the tan is that it began fading 2 days later (thank god!!) and hopefully I won’t have to wear long sleeves and pants to hide for long.

AHHH-​MAZING!!! Had such a wonderful experience here! I was early for a flight at LAX so I Unilocaled a tanning salon nearby. This one had a coupon so I headed here blindly. It was very close to the airport. SOOOO CLEAN!!! If there were 10 stars, I’d give it! Super nice girls at the front. State of the art Mystic shower! I could not have had a better experience nor tan! Their formula was not orange nor did it smell bad for the 6 hour flight I had after!
Thanks for making my Pro Bowl tan in Hawaii awesome!
