Rest Assured Nursing

We had many choices for various nursing services, and the hospital recommended Rest Assured Nursing. I’m happy to report that Rest Assured was absolutely fabulous. The nurses they supplied were phenomenal and I am convinced that I healed much quicker because of their fabulous services.

The nursing team at Rest Assured Nursing is PHENOMENAL! It is not just one individual, but the entire nursing staff is professional, knowledgable and caring about your general well-​being. They are respectful of your situation and take sincere care of your heath needs. I cannot even begin to imagine going through the post-​surgery recovery phase without Rest Assured’s care.
From the moment I called Rest Assured before my surgery, they were flexible and understanding of my situation and were highly aware of the details of my procedure… and they knew my surgeon’s team. I had to reschedule my surgery date and they didn’t even flinch — they were able to meet my schedule and were understanding and helpful through the pre-​surgery phase to make certain everything was arranged and ready for my post-​care environment.
Post-​surgery, they warmly were at my side and made certain I was transfered to the location to receive post-​surgerical care. They did around-​the-​clock care for me and never missed a beat. They showed up early, made certain to keep records and timely milestones achieved — simply put, they were able to handle all needs.
I am healthier and was able to have the speedy recovery that I desired simply because of them. They knew how to address every moment and to get me back to living healthy agian! THANK YOU!!! No other place I would turn to…

I can’t say enough about Rest Assured’s program! I had outpatient surgery, when I was driven home they were there ready to greet me at the car door. From start to finish Andrea in the office, consultation with Tasha and my actual Nurse Deeana were simply amazing! Very professional and very thorough, I can’t imagine using anyone else. At a serious time in my life where I thought I would have to go through the process alone, with Rest Assured I clearly wasn’t. If your ever in need of their services it should be the first call you make!

With the staff of Rest Assured Nursing, we have received consistent, high-​quality care for my husband, who is suffering from brain tumors, and is recovering after surgery, which left him paralyzed on one side. I was overwhelmed when faced with the amount of care he would need, as he is now «dependent» and only able to use one side — he needs help with standing, peeing, bathing, washing his clothes, transferring from the bed to the wheelchair to the recliner. Bowel movements are very, very difficult given the medications which add to his constipation.
Enter the angels from Rest Assured. Whether they are nurses or caregivers, they are all competent and patient. They take a genuine interest in my husband — who he is as a person, before and after the shock of the diagnosis and the surgery. They taught me how to position him, to make him more comfortable, how to make small adjustments, such as getting a sports bottle with a built-​in straw to make it easier for him to drink without worrying about spilling.
They patiently took on everything, including enemas, the Foley catheter, getting him bathed, keeping his mind occupied by reading the paper or listening to a book on tape with him. Additionally, the caregivers willingly do light housework, keep the sink clean, do the laundry, etc. The nurses are great at keeping track of medications, helping you prepare for specific procedures, and performing unpleasant tasks that you really don’t want to do yourself.
They guided us through the radiation treatments.
They are intent on seeing their patients get better. I’m sure that they help the patient accept limitations, but they also work with the patient on what he or she can do. They perform range-​of-​motion exercises and other physical therapy exercises.
The owner, Tasha Rice, visited our home before my husband was discharged from the hospital to prepare for his arrival! She wanted to figure out anything that needed to be changed or set up so that he could maneuver easily throughout the house in his wheelchair. She takes personal responsibility for her employees. We were not happy with one person — and she was immediately replaced. When the caregiver we requested was not available, Tasha herself filled in until she got a replacement! Imagine if you had to interview people off of craigslist or your neighbor’s mother’s former caregiver… I don’t have to guess and hope that someone will work out or know what to do.
We continue to be impressed and amazed by Tasha and her highly competent crew. Their fees actually seem low, now, when you get such tremendous support from well-​trained medical staff. They free me up to do the important things that I must do, such as deal with insurance companies, figure out transportation, get our son to and from school and soccer, etc. Honestly, I would rather stay at home and hang out with whomever is on duty, that is how much I enjoy and respect the people we’ve met through Rest Assured Nursing.

I was looking for After Surgery Caregiver and lucky me, I found Rest Assured Nursing service. And even more lucky me, I found wonderful Tasha, beautiful lady with a big bright smile and extremely positive attitude. She is a registered nurse so Tasha took care of all my needs including driving. She picked me up @ the surgery center in Beverly Hills, drove me back to home and took care of me in very best way. Tasha gave me her personal cellphone number and encouraged me to call her if I needed any kind of help. What a great service! Couple days later Tasha drove & assisted me to get for my check up appointment so what else I can tell you? Oh yeah… the bill. Believe me or not but all the rates were like a icing on the cupcake because total cost was less what I was thinking!

Tasha and the nurses and caretakers with Rest Assured Nursing are absolutely phenomenal. I had back surgery with DISC Surgery Center and came home the next day, something I was a little nervous about, but had to do for insurance reasons. The nurses at DISC Surgery Center soothed my worries, expressing their complete confidence in Tasha, saying that she was by far the best in the business, and they were right! With Tasha and her staff of nurses next to me during my recovery, I have felt like I have had the most top notch, caring, professional care possible.
It is now one month after surgery, and as many having gone through back surgery can probably relate to, I have had three or four occasions where I have pushed my limits a bit and suffered as a consequence, which can be frightening and unsettling. Every time I have called (nights and weekends included), Tasha returns my call within 30 minutes, listens patiently, thoroughly explains what is physically happening with my body, and assists in getting me emotionally and physically back on track.
I am forever indebted to Tasha and her fantastic staff, and recommend Rest Assured Nursing wholeheartedly and with full confidence.
