my car was brought in for damage to the right side. I was side swiped. my insurance company laid out approximately 3,000. I was charged $ 600.00 extra for my deductible and a minor item, not from the accident. The case is in arbitration as my insurance company and I insist, the other driver was at fault. It took almost over one month to get the vehicle repair despite the fact that the damage was not very dramatic, more cosmetic than anything else. The car was left on the street outside unguarde for over one week, not inside their secure facility.
When i finally got my car back I noticed the bumper was bucked on both the left and right side and protruding. I brought this to Platinums attention. I brought in back on 12÷7÷16, but again it was never fixed properly. The problem remains and I brought the car to Marina Auto Body for an estimate which is almost $ 1200.00 for the damage that Platinum refuses to repair. The car was to be detailed and the front wheel was to be replaced. Instead, Platinum installed a damaged salvaged rim to my right front wheel. THe matter was turned over to the Bureau of Automotive Repair on December 7, 2016. MY next step is small claims court. I have been totally stonewalled by Platinum Auto BOdy. I drive no more than 5 miles a day and fom the day I picked up the car until on January 7, 2016, when Platinum Auto Body said they rerepaired the car to January 20, 2016, i put 70 miles on the car in 14 days. IF the car were actually repaired properly I would not now have a new estimate from Marina Auto Bdy for over $ 1100.00. MArina AUto BOdy is a CERTIFIED AUTO BODY SHOP recommended by my insurance company. Platinum is not. Please be guided accordingly.

Great body shop! The insurance company tried to get me to go to their list of body shops. After visiting 2 I was unhappy with both. I decided to go to a shop that I had previous experience with, Platinum. Great experience and highly recommend them. Don’t let the insurance companies tell you who to go to to fix your car. Take your car here and you won’t be disappointed.

I have used Platinum three times for various body repairs on high end cars and have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of their work and top rate customer service.

Best customer service for auto and collision repair. Claims are effortless feels like all i had to do is show up. filed multiple claims on multiple vehicles since 2009. Great guys that went out of their way to serve. They go the extra mile. In may i dropped off my truck after a small rear end fender bender when i picked up my truck 5 days later i was not shocked at the outstanding work standard plus they washed waxed and polished my truck inside and out oh not to mention cleaned my carpet and rugs. I dont go anywhere else. NO COMPETITION HERE!!!

These people are scammers !!! Do NOT have your car towed there after an accident. I asked the tow truck driver where to have our car towed after an accident. He said these people were good so I agreed to have it towed there. I asked if there was a charge to store it while we were waiting on the insurance and was told no so we left it instead of having it towed to our house. Now all of a sudden 2 weeks later they are telling us they charge $ 100 a day WHAT !!! I asked, I didn’t sign anything stating they charged, but they are holding it. This is ridiculous a body shop charging daily until the insurance comes thru DON“T GO THERE !!!

Someone smacked into my car last month and the person’s insurance (Allstate) recommended this shop. I cannot praise them highly enough. Chris got me in and out super quick, they took care of all the details, they took me to Enterprise on Lincoln/​Washington (which suck, don’t go there) and updated me throughout the process. When I emailed them and said that since one of my headlight covers had to be replaced, i was worried that the other one was foggy, they told me that they’d clean it up for me no problem. When I went to pick up my car, it was spotless and gorgeous and works great now. They let me leave the rental car with them and took care of that for me. These guys are pretty awesome. I hope I don’t get into any more car accidents but if I do this shop is where I’ll be taking my car.

Simply put, Platinum is amazing. Unfortunately for me, I got rear ended twice in 6 months. Both times I took my car to Platinum. Dropping off/​picking up my car was quick and painless, they kept me updated on the status of my car without me having to hound anyone, and the staff was kind and genuinely happy to fix my baby.
The repairs look fantastic. Their attention to detail and kind staff made what could have been an annoying process easy and as enjoyable as it could be! Thanks so much, you guys! Hopefully I wont be needing to come back again soon, but if I do, this will be the only place I will take my car for repairs.

East and fast. Great service from Bob and the whole staff who were super friendly. The quote was fair (not the lowest I found but very competitive). I had body work that looked great when done and was completed a day early. I’ll definitely go back.

A bad day made better!!! I managed to do a number to my car and was recommended that I get a quote from here by my towing company. I originally took my car to Prestige down the street which took SEVERAL hours.
After the original quote at Prestige, I decided to drive my car to Platinum and I am SO GLAD I did. They were able to give me a quote within 20 minutes and it was literally $ 1200 less than Prestige. They were also some of the friendliest people I have ever come across. Considering the fact that my day started with smashing my car and facing significant charges to get it repaired, they were a breath of fresh air. They even helped coordinate with Enterprise, my car rental company and gave me a ride to pick up my car since Enterprise was backed up and having trouble sending someone to pick me up.
When I learned from my insurance that my car was deemed a total loss, they were wonderful about allowing me to pull my rental car in to their back lot and take my time cleaning out my car and saying my goodbyes. While I hope I do not get into any future accidents, I can tell you I will be sure to bring my business back to Platinum if need be and will highly recommend them to my friends!

WOW! Quick, easy and painless. That’s how every autobody should be.
After running out of another shop (ICC — just down the road) almost in tears, I found this shop out because I never wanted to step foot back in there again. On the phone, they were super friendly, and gave me an excellent price right up front, no questions asked. I came in and they were just as nice in person. The guy i spoke to quickly snapped some photos and said I’d get a call when everything was ready to be installed… no waiting or leaving my car there unnecessarily, just logical service.
Couldn’t imagine a better night and day experience in less than 20 minutes. SO glad the other shop was terrible so I could find this gem. I’d highly recommend it!

There’s a reason this place has so many 5 star reviews, and if you want guaranteed top notch service, this is the place to go. Everything was explained straightforward and clearly, making it very easy for me. My car was finished 5 days earlier than expected, with updates throughout the week of how it was doing. When it was ready to pick up, my camaro looked brand new and better than ever. They took care of damages that were there before the accident at no extra cost, and Chris was incredibly helpful in taking care of my front license plate situation. If anything happens to my baby again I know where I’m going. Highly recommended!

Absolutely fantastic service. I went here after getting in an accident that ruined most of the front of my car. They gave me frequent updates on the progress of my car as it was being fixed, did an excellent job with the repairs and were all-​around delightful to work with. I went back a month or so later because there was something rattling under my car that I thought was caused from the accident, and they fixed it within 20 minutes at no additional cost, no questions asked as part of the lifetime warranty on their work.

I’m an awful driver and had a bunch of repairs I needed made — all of which were totally my fault, meaning that I had to pay for them out-​of-​pocket.
I went to platinum and one other body shop. The other body shop estimated over $ 5,000 in repairs, and Platinum estimated $ 1,900.
Platinum did a STELLAR job AND I got my car one day earlier than expected.
I’ll be going to Platinum from here on out, whether any future damage is my fault or not!

After receiving a quote for 1200.00 to remove a very long scratch I decided to shop around and I’m very glad I did. Platinum buffed the scratch out almost entirely for a meare $ 50.00 and they did a fantastic job in exceeding my expectations. They were honest from the beginning and told me that the scratch may not all come out, they finished my car in the specified time, they fixed my bumper scratch for no additional charge, and they washed my car!!! I loved their service and customer service. Thanks!

Ended up here after a minor fender bender. They had my car for a couple of days and while they had it I was told they would buff out a couple of scratches free of charge. I hadn’t initially inquired about this however I was happy that it was offered and agreed to have it done. It was a nice gesture however, when I picked up my car the scratches were still there. I drove my car right back and asked why they had offered if it wasn’t going to actually be done. Annoying. They kept my car a while longer and finished the job while I waited.
Three stars for a pretty good repair job and because the deal I got from this location was fair… I didn’t feel like I got ripped off :)

Been here two times to fix up my corolla and both times have had a wonderful experience. John helped me out and did everything he could to make the process as easy as possible. My car was fixed back to new before accident and the prices they quote are very competitive and lower than other auto-​body shops I’ve gotten quotes from. They guarantee their work and they try to be environmentally responsible as much as possible. My kind of shop!
A few years ago my side view mirror got popped off when a huge truck passed by about an inch too close. The person wanted to settle it privately so I needed to find an auto-​body I could trust. Since the side view mirror is made to pop off on impact to not cause damage to the body of the car, it was a simple enough fix that would be a good test for a shop. Got some quotes and looked at Unilocal and ended up at Platinum. Car was fixed up while I waited! It was a smooth easy experience. Platinum did a wonderful job and made me feel at easy about the entire thing. Their waiting room isn’t the most comfortable so I wouldn’t wait if you have somewhere else you could go.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago where a car backs into mine while parked. I needed a lot more work than just simply replacing the side view mirror. I turned to Platinum to fix up my car. It took about 5 days because parts of my car needed to be repainted and it takes a long time for that. Platinum updated me throughout the process and made sure I knew what was going and when to pick up my car.
When I was finally able to pick up my car it looked so brand new! They had washed it and shine up the repainted bumper: P New shiny bumper as if I just drove it off the lot. The car has damaged my Bumper, light holder, and a piece between my bumper and light holder. All fixed up! Because the bumper had to be repainted in one area, they repainted the entire thing and took out all the small dings and scratches from LA street parking. I noticed some paint chunks on my car, they promptly took those off and polished it up again!
Yeah! My car looks awesome! Platinum does great work and their customer service was great. John was always polite and explained everything to me. Christine is very personable and easy to chat with as you wait in the room. It’s a good shop to have in your back pocket when the worst happens. It feels good to know I have a shop I can trust when I need it.

Ok– I RARELY review anything, but i felt that this place completely deserved praise.
I went in to have some body work done this week expecting a painful ordeal. Instead, i was greted by incredibly friendly staff who was knowledgable and walked through my options with me (dealer or aftermarket, replace or repair) and made it all easy.
Their estimates were fair (33% BELOW another shop!), they are completely service oriented (calling me to keep me posted), and they even had my car ready a day early! My car looks gorgeous, and i could not be happier. They also guarantee the repairs for as long as you own the vehicle.
100% recommend them :)

In the 2 times that I have taken my car to Platinum, I find that they are an excellent shop. The two times I’ve gone, was to fix minor things like a light or to replace stolen parts, but on both times they have gone beyond my needs. They not only fixed my car, but washed, waxed and vacuumed the inside. The last time I went, it was for stolen parts. I had broken the handle of my trunk a few weeks earlier and intended to fix it after I got my car back from them. They called me during the repairs to ask if the damaged handle was because of the robbery. I told them no and thought nothing of it. I was so surprised to find that they fixed the handle with no charge!
I definitely will be coming back to them. They are honest, fast and extremely professional. I was actually surprised to see they had some negative reviews. Anyhow, I have had nothing but pleasant experiences with them.
