My 1st In-&-Out burger I had a few days ago turns out to be amazing, taste the same as McDonalds(that’s everyone knows), except it feels more refreshment for the burger is not greasy(compare to McD). McD got a better bun though(with sesame seeds on the top) and crunchy fries, but the fries here is still good(soft feeling but better than Burger King). And of course, the line was pack and drive-through is crazy, longest line I ever seen or wait for a order from just a fast-food place. I had 20 people(orders) in front of me(and that was just inside customer). Good pick for burgers over other fast-food burgers for sure, taste as if it is home-made, and their line of customers definitely shows you that!

The burgers are amazing, but it’s probably easier to escape Syria on foot than it is to navigate this parking lot. No rhyme or reason to enter, reminds me of a six way intersection in Bangkok — except people are in worse moods here.

So I came in with my friends. And I got an order for animal fries and a drink. My order number was 37. All my friends got their foods but mine. And my friends ordered combos while I only just got animal style. But somehow my animal style fries weren’t ready. I had to come up to the register to tell them if they forgot my order. And the lady told me there«coming right out»…like yeah right… I can distinct her face that they totally forgot my order. So wait for another 10 min— and next thing you know they start calling numbers up to «50» — so from there I asked my money back. Because it’s really ridiculous how hard is it to make animal style fries ??? I’ve been to many in in outs but this is so far the worst in in out location. So disappointing.

After hearing about in-n-out, we definitely had to give it a try! First thing we noticed as we entered, was that there was a very limited selection unlike the typical fast food menu. You can either order a Double-Double, Cheeseburger, Hamburger and French fries, with a selection of drinks. I guess it makes it way easier for people when they just have a hunger craving to not think too much when ordering. We ordered two double-doubles($ 3.70 each) with fries($ 1.70), and they were pretty tasty burgers. I mean, pretty damn tasty. I also noticed how friendly the service was(maybe it was just this branch) and the large number of staff on duty. It seemed quite a lot, but also the place was very busy when we were ordering so it made sense to have lots of people in the kitchen while serving so many customers.

Worst place in the world for a burger. You can never even park let alone find time to wait for your food. Most times I just turn back onto Washington and go elsewhere. After learning that In n Out are bigoted towards gay and lesbians I now refuse to wait 45 min and also stress myself out for a burger. Go f. k yourselves In, and Out. You’re a brand in decline.

Do I really need to write a review for this place? I mean really. This place is awesome –it’s simple it’s burgers –it’s fries –it’s milkshakes. I think I’m done here. This is what every hole in the wall Burger joint wishes to be. I am going to go eat my flying dutchman now. goodbye

What the hell. Why does this place have such high reviews. I tried the animal fries, the famous burgers, and shake — honestly Wendy’s is better. The fries were soggy, cold, and the cheese wasn’t melted. The burger was ok — but Wendy’s does it better at the same price point. The shake was ok as well, but again — Wendy’s has better shakes. We visited LA for a week, and at the top of our food list was In-N-Out Burger. We were expecting the best fast food experience of our lives from all the hype this place gets, and all the plugs they pay for in shows like The Flash. I honestly don’t get it, and feel like maybe I am broken in some way since my experience is so vastly different from so many others, but more likely I think it’s just that there aren’t many Wendy’s in LA to compete with these guys.

**DISCLAIMER**my three star review does not represent how much I enjoy in and out burgers, it is a measure of how I think this location fares compare to other in and out locations I have been to. If this is the kind of review you are interested in then please continue reading. I went here with coworkers for lunch on a Friday afternoon. It was around 11, and luckily the line was not long and we did not have to wait long for our food which was a plus. The drive thru line didn’t seem long either, but I am not sure if this is a fluke or this location is generally not too crowded. Although that wait in line was not long, the whole time we were standing there it reeked of cleaning solution and made it smell like we were standing in a bathroom. One star down. I got my food(grilled cheese animal style + fries) and sat away from the bathroom odor. The fries were good but everything was sooo salty, more salty than any in and out I have ever eaten. They really went too hard on the salt! 2 stars down at this point. Later on at work my mouth felt so dry which confirmed the increased salt levels that I had experiences earlier. All in all not my favorite location, but the variables brining down the review could easily change from day to day.

Coming from Michigan, I’ve heard a lot from my Californian friends about In and Out Burgers so when I visited, I had to check it out! I was warned ahead of time that this was not going to be a gourmet burger as it’s fast food so my expectations were met after waking through the doors and finding an atmosphere similar to any other fast food chain. It took around 25 minutes to order and get our food and we had to park on the street since parking is scarce but the food itself was pretty good(for fast food that is)! I ordered double patties and cheese because the patties are quite small and can get lost in the buns(but if you go protein style you could get anyway with just one patty) and I asked for it «Animal style» which means they add thousand island dressing and grilled onions which was a pro choice. Patties were juicy as well! The fries were alright(nothing to write home about but it is nice to see them being cut right in front of you!). Overall, it was a good experience for an out of towner — just make sure your naïve friends know what they’re getting into!

How appropriate, In-N-Out is my milestone 100th review. Whoo. Growing up in San Francisco, I am no stranger to the chain. I would always eat In-N-Out. After moving to Houston for college I was deprived of all their goodness. Now moving out here, I was shocked to see the drive-thru lines SOLONG. But hey, it is good & cheap, so obviously there’s a reason why so many people dine here. Rather than dining during peak hours-lunch/dinner, I started coming around 7 or 8. Also you can count on them being open until 1 am. Amazing. In-N-Out is top of the food chain in the fast food category. Burgers taste so fresh every time. I always go for the double-double cheeseburger with animal style fries. My life feels so complete when I indulge in this meal. It never lets me down. Definitely a fast food spot to take nonnative Californians.

Just because it’s in n out. I use to live right around the corner from an in n out. Now that I live in Georgia, every time I’m back in town, you know I’ll end up getting myself a tasty burger. The great thing about In-n-Out is how simple their menu is, yet you have so much freedom to customize it. You know how I like my burger? Regular burger. Bun Toasted. Medium Rare. Grilled Onions. Pickles. Animal Style. Boom. Oh and fries? I like them well done to add a little more crispiness. Sometimes, if I’m not feeling like too much bread, I’ll ask for it protein style, which is wrapped in lettuce. Also, if you don’t think you have enough animal style sauce, as for spread at the counter! So dang good. I wish I could get my in n out fix any time I want, but unfortunately, I’m in the South. But when I’m back, I definitely go a little crazy and end up ordering 2 or 3 burgers at once.

This is the closest In-N-Out to LAX. Well, okay it’s not the closest but the one near LAX is crazy f’in busy. Not to say this one also isn’t crazy f’in busy. It’s on a lot with a Costco and there was a bus of Chinese tourists that debussed a little after I put my order in. I’m guessing this place is used to getting the overflow of tourists from the airport. I just don’t get In-n-Out very often but every time I walk away satisfied and amazed at the courteousness of the staff despite being overwhelmed.

Kudos to «Drake» who fixed my attempt to order a veggie burger. In essence, it’s a grilled cheese with pickles, peppers and all the veggies. It didn’t come out right, and he owned it, fixed it and got me out of there. All with a smile.

Here’s my go-to: double-double protein style no onions and fries well. If you go around 4pm it’s not that busy… well, at least the day that I was there at that time. Normally it’s like 10 min to get food but here it was super quick.

I love In-N-Out for its fresh ingredients, delicious shakes and simple yet satisfying menu. They will mix shake flavors for you. Half chocolate and half strawberry is the bomb! What other fast food chain has workers outside of the crazy long drive through line assisting you with your order? HOWEVER, too often when I order grilled onions, I’ve gotten uncooked ones. I have pointed it out and gotten a boat load of grilled onions in a fries tray to compensate but the inconvenience is annoying. I use ketchup instead of their special sauce because a cheeseburger and fries have enough calories. If you order Animal Style fries, they got soggy easily and there’s an extra charge of at least $ 1.50. Today also, my regular fries had many runt pieces but that has never happened before. Because of the fresh ingredients(it’s the only fast food burger I trust comes from actual cows), and cheap prices, my rating of 3 ½ stars gets rounded up to 4. This location also has a large outdoor eating area.

Shhhhhh… 2×1, mgp, ns, cgo, fwd, nea p Message to those who know me: That wasn’t a butt-dialed post from my iPhone. It’s a shorthand formula for my cheat meal at In-N-Out. My favorite location is the one near Marina Del Rey in the Culver City Costco parking lot during off hours. 2x1p = 2 beef patties and 1 slice of melted cheese, protein-style with no bun. mgp = Mustard grilled patty; they’ll spread mustard on the burger patty before putting it on the grill. It results in the mustard mellowing a little and caramelizing — I like the taste when I bite into the burger and the mustard slightly sticks to the roof of my mouth. ns = No spread; The«spread» is In-N-Out’s secret pink sauce that’s like Thousand Island dressing. Tangy, sweet, fatty, delicious, but too much of a good thing for me(gives me heartburn). It’s what makes the Animal Fries outrageously decadent and delicious for lots of folk. cgo= chopped grilled onions, instead of sliced raw onion. fwd= fries well-done. In-N-Out slices fresh potatoes daily for their fries, but they only fry them once resulting in a sometimes limp product. They won’t twice fry(the superior technique for a crisp, yet fluffy fry), but if you give them the secret menu code for«well done,» it’ll turn into crunchy potato sticks with the occasional crisp yet fluffy fry in the bunch(like finding a four leaf clover in a field of grass). Lastly, nea-p = Neapolitan shake; soft serve shake of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate. Most people get a single flavor. I love getting three flavors in a cup to slurp on. It all costed $. That’s the best secret. Those are my favorite picks from In-N-Out’s Secret Menu. Service is efficient and the space is clean. Most recently went on Father’s Day and the cashier who took my order didn’t roll his eyes at my special request for each item, instead saying with a big smile, «Wow, you really studied up on this stuff, didn’t you.» 180 degrees different from the FU attitude at FO. That’s one of the many reasons why I’ll keep coming back. PS: Secret Menu 411

Do I really need to write a review for this? I think it’s basically a nationally known West Coast pit stop the moment you land. I first tried In-N-Out four years ago when I was visiting SF, and I was such a pathetic noob I didn’t know how to order properly so I thought the food was super bland and overrated for what it was worth. Thankfully, I learned how to make friends with California natives and ended up being schooled on how to order and got to flex that social muscle during my trip last week. Their double-double Animal style is basically a glorified Big Mac that’ll appeal to all of your fatty senses in the best and worst ways, and I was blown away at how courteous and friendly every single one of the employees were no matter how busy it was. The second time we came during dinner hour, there was LITERALLY a line out the door. The awesome dude who worked the potato crushing machine like it was nobody’s business, I just want to let you know we watched you in silent adoration for a good ten minutes. Their Animal style fries is not for me though. Way too dense for my appetite.

Great quality burgers for an amazing price. If I need good fast food, In-N-Out is my go to option. It never fails me! Although the line can be intimidating, it is always so worth the wait. PARKING: Can be difficult to find since you have Costco in the same plaza. Never fear, if you can’t find anything just go through the drive-thru. FOOD: Perfection. I don’t know how they have perfected the hamburger with such simple ingredients. I always order: The #2(which is a cheeseburger) with grilled onions and chopped chili. DROOL. The chopped chili is so fine and it gives your burger some heat! Trust me, it is good. I also get a lot of extra spread on the side to douse my fires in. Sometimes, I even get my fries fried well done for that extra crispiness. LOCATION: What I love most about this particular In-N-Out is that it is so clean! If the lines weren’t so long, this place would be absolutely perfect.

We were on our way to the airport and realised that we were peckish. What better way to say farewell to L.A. than double doubles with fries! After filling up the rental car, we made our way here. It’s just across the parking lot but the queue for the drive through was substantial. My friends decided it was faster to hop out and get takeaway that we could eat than try to maneuver the throngs of cars in the parking lot. This location must get a LOT of business at all times based on its proximity to the Costco, grocery store, and everything else that was nearby. Nothing new to report. The burgers and fries were as ordered, and the employees were all friendly.
