I was saddened to drive by their late last night(at about 1am after playing a gig) only to find it was burned from the inside out. Gutted, blackened and just a shell of a once Del Taco. I looked forward to getting the late night Del Combo burrito or classic tacos, or even their double burgers(these burgers are surprisingly REALLY good) or the avocado chicken burrito. I mean, yah, it’s Del Taco. No biggie. But to be burned down is sad. And to no longer have them as one of your late night, go-to options makes me a little weepy eyed. RIP, Del Taco on Lincoln Blvd. :-/

Oh darn! Without all the people in there who came in and bought no food but ask for a water cup, what will I ever do with all of my spare change? They used to be my go-to place for late night snacks, but I have to admit I always felt like I needed a shot of penicillin after I walked out of there.

I miss this place so much. We had a late night love affair. Sure, sometimes we had our problems — my sprite was flat or the quesadilla was a little al dente or my crispy taco was stale or my crinkle cut fries were limp d’s — But beyond that you were always there for me– anytime. I knew that I could count on you. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will always think of our time together fondly — #delloverbell

My lunch break. I thought I would try this place for lunch. There was ice and water on the floor, the manager seemed to be moody. There was a girl breaking ice inside a bin; the flap came down and hit her on her head. Because her head was inside the ice bin. Not safe or sanitary. No hair net. She had long hair. I odered two tacos, fries, and drink. The two tacos were dead cold and the fries were cold and salty. The staff did not greet me in a friendly manner; and yet, other customers came and went. The ice machine was congested with bricks of ice. The tables are dirty and the staff attitude is very unprofessional, reeks of favoritism to some customers and to not speaking to others. They all need to be re-trained in manners, customer service; and, on how to treat every customer with the same polite, respect, patience, and fairness. None of the food I ordered was hot. Fantastic. The staff does not appear to have a passion for their jobs– by their unprofessional behaviors and manners. When ever people in a place are rude or not professional. .. they need to be corrected in their sanctimonious attitude towards customers. If the food is not Hot when you eat it, just know that the staff has accepted complacency at its worst. Attitude counts for 75% to 80% of job success. If you don’t like people or serving others, then get out of the restaurant business. Don’t just work a job because you need it. Do the job right with professionalism and kindness or Quit. I give this Del Taco an F in service, F in attitude, an F in professionalism. The food was ill-prepared gets a double F.

I have been coming to this Del Taco for months. I have tried to give them every opportunity to improve but it just is not happening! Today I came in for lunch but needed to use the facility first, a gentleman before me asked to use the bathroom first… he was told they ran out of tokens! What!!! The last time I asked to use it the manager opened it with a key! Now I really tend to judge a place by how clean they keep their bathroom, and accompany that with bad service and I wish I could give this place zero stars. I think it’s time to bulldoze the place and build something better.

Closed down twice recently by the L.A. County Health Department for vermin infestation. Yuck. Incredible that they were shut down, then kept serving food in those filthy conditions until the Heath Dept. shut them down again a couple of weeks later. Shows they have no regard for their customers… sickening.

Why is a lady named Janine a manager at this Dell taco? I ordered food and she told me a higher total then what my actual total was. She saw that I was paying in cash and told me my total for two for five burritos was 606. Then she told me, after I asked her why it was so much, that the total was 549. When I asked her for her manager, she said that she was the manager so then I asked her what she was doing. I let her know that I’m asking for more money is not OK and told her that I didn’t want my order and that I was going to report it. So here I am. Off to jack in the box.

The chipotle ranch burrito tastes as if God himself descended from the clouds and fulfilled my last dying wish to eat the most gloriously delicious combination of meat, creams, and cheeses this world can offer. Thank you God. And thank you Del Taco for providing him a kitchen.

Ordered a bottle of water and a scrambled egg burrito. They got half of it correct. Bottle of water was accurate. Ended up with a chicken burrito loaded with unripe hard avocado, loaded with rice and beans. Btw, if this is your idea of chicken burrito you might want to add a portion of chicken that can be eatin through out the burrito. I had to dissect the burrito in order to find out what type of protein was in it. I think it was that epic crap burritos thy make that are all beans and rice and not much of anything else. Regardless it was morning. I ordered a breakfast burrito and the idiots here can’t even get one item correct. Oh wait, they got the bottle water right. Just don’t expect them to actually make anything themselves correctly. What a bunch of fuck ups.

Jeez. Don’t order when sober. Did they change the recipe or are they just that sloppy! They butchered my chicken quesadilla, I never remembered the chicken being dark meat and super shredded. Same with my chicken soft taco. They’re supposed to be simple and light. They packed it with too much meat, normally that would be okay but not in this case since the chicken wasn’t attractive at all.

Pretty pathetic. Ordered a taco and burrito combo. Medium. The worker put 2 large scoops if ice in the cup and handed it to me. She was not happy when I asked for no ice considering what she did. Looking through the delivery window into the restaurant gave me the feeling that I should drive away and find another place to get junk food. I waited instead. Not a good decision. Food was salty like it had been sitting for a while. Taco Bell is both gourmet and consistent. Del taco is not. Waste if money.

It’s like two steps down from Taco Bell, but Del Taco is the late-night savior of drunken, high taco cravings, given you’re not near any food trucks. Everything is super cheap. Lobby stays open until 3am or something crazy like that, and the drive-thru is 24 hours. One can hardly every be truly upset with any place that is open twenty-four seven. It’s definitely a last resort, but nothing i’d be super bummed about having to deal with exclusively if i’m under some sort of influence. This is key. I doubt you’ll want to walk in here third-grade-sober and start going to town on the menu. If i recall correctly the ‘outcome’ was a bit of a rough one. Honestly the best part of it all was the churros. I think we came here just about every night of the trip, at the end of the night, for stupid, dumb orders of churros, the perfect night cap.

I just came back here and they immediately and respectfully apologized and rectified the situation, no questions asked. Very good food for a Del Taco chain and employees are very friendly and courteous. I’m very satisfied.

I don’t frequent this location but I routinely stop in when I’m in MDR. I went through the drive through the other day and decided to try the new Turkey Tacos. This boosted my review up a star. They were wonderful. I was surprised that they looked just like the photos. Heaped with fresh veggies. Mmmmmmmmm. Those tacos were better than many that I’ve had in Mexican restaurants.

I went to this classy joint last night. I shouldn’t have been driving because I couldn’t figure out the drive-thru. My 99cent tacos went amazingly with the Bodington’s beer I drank about 30 minutes prior. Hard shell tacos though, tasted like hell. Quesadilla with spicy jack was great. $ 5.46 for all that! Yes. I gorged myself at the end of the night.
