Let me just say: Angie has the hands of an angel. Seriously. I have gotten a lot of facials in my life and while I’ve never been smacked around during a facial, I definitely have had facials that have been more or less relaxing and more or less beneficial to my face. Let me tell you — Angie started the facial and I could not believe how gentle she was, how relaxing it was — and when I left, after having an AMAZING neck and shoulder and arm massage that was incredibly relaxing and thorough — my face looked better than it ever had. Totally worth it!

Angie works out of a salon. It is just her. She does not have an phone answering service, so be patient when trying to book an appointment. I think texting is best.
As for the service: Excellent, excellent, excellent! Best facial I’ve ever had! She explains everything she is doing and leaves you feeling comfortable and relaxed. Also, my skin looked brighter, tighter and felt silky smooth. So worth it.

My experience was very similar to Yuko’s. It took me 3 messages over about 10 days before she finally returned my call and we set up an appointment. I showed up on time and waited for 20 minutes, but she never showed up. No call, no text, nothing. I am shocked that some people seem to have had good experiences.

I don’t think these positive reviews are for the same person. Possibly they are confused by a different Angie. My experience with this place was unpleasant. I found about Angie’s Skin Care from Groupon.
First, it was very difficult to make an appointment. She doesn’t seem to take her business very seriously. I called on a Monday to make an appointment, she say’s she doesn’t have her schedule book. So she said she would text me and I haven’t heard from her until I called her back 3 days later on Thursday. After finally getting a hold of her, I was able to make an appointment.
Angie did not explain that her business was inside an Hair Salon, I wasn’t able to find the business until I called her.
I told her my cheeks were sunburned and to be gentle, yet she used strong exfoliators on face. My cheeks and lips are still sore, sensitive and dry 3 days later. This has never happened at any other Skin Care location.
I had bought a 3 session voucher from groupon, roughly $ 240 value, when she scanned the groupon, she sees that value of $ 240 but claims it’s only for one sessions. After I insist that the groupon rate was for 3 sessions she finally agrees. But on my way home, she calls me and claims my groupon was for 1 sessions and she must of scanned the previous customer. Yet she tells me the previous customer canceled on her. I don’t understand how she could say that after scanning the voucher after I gave it to her.
I’m defiantly not going back to her for the other sessions.

I got a leg and bikini wax, $ 50, good price, and Angie was so thorough, she went all around with tweezers getting the ingrown hairs. Plus I didn’t feel a pressure to talk but when we did it was easy and not awkward. Will return.

Looking at the great review here, I got a deal with livingsocial. I left 3 messages on her voicemail over a week period and no call was returned. After contacting livingsocial for complaint, finally I got an appointment. This took about 2 weeks. When I complained that she was very rude for not returning any of my call, especially I wanted to use my paid voucher. She explained that she is busy and since she is doing this part time, it’s very hard for her to do everything. (lots of various personal excuses she told me will not be mentioned here)
She left me a voice message with the appointment date a day after I spoke. I was relieved to have that confirmation and kept the message.
Finally the appointment date arrived. I showed up on time, and keep knocking the door, but no answer. I left a message on voicemail — and no answer. I stayed and waited for 15 min outside, left another message and left. I still have the message with her voice stating our appointment.
It’s 3 days later, and I have not heard back from her. This place must be amazing according to the review, I wish I had an appointment to experience it. But with no call back — I am just hoping living soical will finally give me a refund.

Angie is AMAZING. No other way to say it. I often get facials and expect to leave it red and spotchy. I left glowing and my face looks great.

So Angie called and explained that she had a family emergency and apologized for the treatment,. I explained that I totally understand about emergencies, and it was more the lack of communication that upset me.
Anyhow, she offered a comp facial, which I do appreciate. Looking forward to further to updating this review (and the stars, hopefully) after the facial.

facials have never been part of my routine, but i saw a deal for a facial from angie’s petite spa on lifebooker and decided to try it out. it was great. very relaxing (except for the extractions; those were a tad uncomfortable but that’s to be expected). i’m very wary of beauty gimmicks, but i was pleasantly surprised to find that my skin legitimately did look better the next day. i don’t really have any other frame of reference since this is my first facial, but angie did a great job and i’m very satisfied and would recommend it.

Angie did an AMAZING job! She’s very attentive and can give an excellent neck massage. Make an appointment asap! My skin looks great and I love her place… very cute and petite!

Angela gave me a facial and it was a very positive experience. She takes her time, explains what she is doing/​going to do, and was very gentle, with a positive attitude.
I liked the scent of the stuff she used — not too strong, very lovely.
My skin never looked so good. I could definitely see the difference the following day.
My appointment started on time and lasted over an hour.
Added plus: lots of free parking on the street.

I recently went to Angie for a facial. She was amazing. Angie is a master at extractions and she took plenty of time with me even though I had a living social coupon. I will definitely be back for facials once every few months!

I have been fighting acne and scarring all my life. I would wear layers and layers of makeup to try and hide it, which of course only made it worse. To top it off, I have ridiculously sensitive skin that does not react well to most topical chemicals. I have tried salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, retin-​A, sulfur, homeopathic, oil-​free, tea tree oil, etc. I was on the verge of trying Accutane when I found Angie. I went to Angie 5 times, and she gave me my self confidence back. She did microdermabrasion and extractions and my skin is the best it’s ever been. She is a magician!

Great skin care expert Angie has the perfect touch and takes her time whit each client, I would recommend the Oxygen facial it’s the best and waxing painless ;)

I had a wonderful experience at Angie’s. My face looked and felt amazing. I got the pore facial. And boy did I. The first half was soothing and calm, then she did the extractions, no pain no gain. I was worried my face would be red and puffy but I was wrong. She knows exactly what she’s doing. Each pore was clean and fresh. I will definitely be going back, and telling all my friends (or maybe I’ll just keep it to myself :) Do your self a favor and check out Angie’s Petite Spa.

I think that Angie’s Petit Spa in Marina Del Rey is a real gem. Not only does Angie perform European facials, eye brow waxing, and cellulite removal, she also has the much in demand oxygen facial. This type of facial has helped to reduce the lines in my forehead and near my eyes. Angie is expert at tending to her client’s every need. Not only is she patient, but she is expert at preventative measures to restore tired and stressed skin. I think it is worth a trip to her wonderful spa atmosphere. You won’t be disappointed, and you’ll definitely look and feel much younger.
