It’s a great close by place to park your car but man, you gotta be sure you’re checking the tides! Several times cars have been underwater here when their owners returned. They’re pretty good about closing down sections of it when they expect King Tides, but still, why chance it? I would rather park elsewhere and not have to worry about a soggy car!

Don’t park here! Especially during full moons and when high tides are happening while you are parked there. I just recently parked there and the tides raised 4 – 5 ft and flooded the parking lot. It caused me thousands of $‘s in damage. Unless you own a 4×4 avoid this parking lot

This is a hub for bus transit: Marin, Golden Gate, Marin Airporter, Tech Buses, etc.
The Great:
+ Large parking lot.
+ A ton of transit options.
The Average:
o Not much coverage if it’s raining.
The Poor:
— It’s on a floodplain, so pay attention to where you park when the tides are up!
— It can be a bit sketchy under the bridge when it’s late at night.
— Getting in and out of the lot is like a puzzle. Combine that with crappy drivers that can’t read signs and you may die. Seriously.

The 4 bus goes to the financial district about every 10 – 15 mins during rush hour. There is ample parking. Airporter stops here as do many Silicon Valley private buses. Coffee is available at Buckeyes if you need it. There is also a waiting area with cover for those rainy days. For bike riders you have storage bins/​racks. Only down side is occasional flooding in winter during high tide. Just something to be aware of.
