XPO Last Mile

These guys were great. I had to reschedule my delivery and it was no issue. The drivers called to confirm I was home and showed up on time. No complaints here.

Just. The. Worst. Equal parts dishonest & disorganized.
I ordered from Lowes & had a date scheduled for delivery at 8:00 AM. XPO had an automated call that told me it would be 6:00 PM — 10 hours later. Weird.
They called to tell me that they would miss that one too & asked to reschedule for another day. In spite of my insistence, they did not give a time. Just the entire day.
Shortly after, I got an e-​mail from Lowes saying that he package had been considered shipped to us on the first day at 8:00 AM. Obviously XPO confirmed a shipment that it had not made.
Finally on the day they were to ship, they said it would get here by 12:00 PM. As the day progressed, the dispatcher had no clue where the driver would get there & gave answers which were not accurate. The driver got there by 4:00 PM.
So, if you want to be lied to your face, to waste your time waiting & to have this company lie to the source for which it fulfills to cover it’s own incompetence, XPO is a good pick.

I am shocked at the bad reviews this company has received. Perhaps service varies depending on where you live? I live in Los Angeles, CA — the San Fernando Valley to be exact. I was very happy with the service I received. I purchased 2 tv’s on Amazon on black friday. Amazon’s site allowed me to pick from many 3 hour delivery windows — available 7 days a week. I chose a Sunday afternoon. I was so grateful that I wouldn’t have to take a day off of work AND that they were providing a delivery window. I received a call the morning of my scheduled delivery (a Saturday) to remind me of my delivery window. I then got a call from the driver about an hour later to let me know he was on his way. Driver and assistant were both on time, very nice and respectful of my home. They offered to set up my tv but I declined since I was going to mounting it to the wall. There was an issue when I asked where the 2^nd tv was, they said they only had one for me. I showed him my Amazon account which indicated 2 tv’s scheduled for delivery. Although he knew he didn’t have the tv he looked in his truck to make sure. He then contacted his supervisor to find out about the second tv, the supervisor was not available so he gave me his cell phone number. He apologized and assured me supervisor would help me. I called supervisor and left a message. The supervisor called me back right away, he said I needed to speak with dispatch and gave me the number. Dispatch said the 2^nd tv arrived after the deliveries were already loaded and that I could reschedule. I was not happy about this because I wish I had been told, but the person at dispatch advised that it was already rescheduled in their system and that a call was scheduled to notify me but she quickly offered me another date that was more convenient for me. Note: True to her word I did get a call shortly after just as she said I would but I disregarded as she advised me to because I knew I had already rescheduled it. XPO delivered my 2^nd tv the following Saturday– and again everything went perfect. Drivers were on time, they set up my tv and took all packaging with them.
I am rating this company 5 stars because even though there was an issue with delivery of my 2^nd tv– I am still not certain if this was Amazon’s fault for getting the product to them late or the shipping company who sends it to XPO or if it was XPO who failed to load the tv at the correct time, but regardless they were very nice and did their best to help fix it. All of the employees I dealt with were professional and courteous.
I did advise Amazon of the issue and they did provide a small discount for my troubles which I was very grateful for.

XPO Last Mile is a horrible company to go through.
Let me outline all the ways XPO is horrible:
1. I wanted to have my furniture delivered and assembled, but the furniture had to be delivered first and then I could not make an assembly appointment until 48 hours until after furniture was delivered.
2. They require payment within the day between delivery and assembly through a very outdated pdf form sent through email and could not take payment over the phone. I was under the impression that since it was a form, I could fill it out the day of when the people arrived for assembly. However, they canceled my order without so much as a warning and wanted me to wait an additional 48 hours for assembly.
3. The woman I talked to on the phone was an astonishing combination of exceptionally rude and exceptionally stupid. She acted as though paying for a service after it has been performed was unheard of, even though I gave her multiple examples where this is common practice such as hair cuts or sit down dinners. I then asked if I paid right at that moment through the email if I could still get assembly today, and she gave me a firm no. I then brought up the point that clearly the business operates with a willingness to lose orders and business considering they would have provided no follow up had I not called– an accusation at which she just scoffed. I also brought up the point that they cancel orders so readily that the initial policy of them not scheduling assembly appointments until after orders are delivered makes no sense. Again, she dismissed my point. I obviously then did not want to pay the full amount I was quoted if I would then be without furniture for an additional 48 hours, and she was not able to be the least bit flexible, so she ultimately lost the order. This company cares more about upholding their nonsense policies than making the customer happy, and considering this company has a dismal 1.5 stars on Unilocal,it is clearly not helping their business.

PROS: the actual moving guys were professional and nothing was damaged.
CONS: the package sat in their warehouse for a week before i called to keep the shipping process moving — who knows how long it would have sat there if i didn’t inquire (by this time it was a few days late past the estimated delivery time). they gave me a day and said there’d be a call — despite a call of my own a day before, i was never notified of the delivery window and had to find out for myself. although the shipment tracking identified four boxes in my order, there were only three delivered (and they did contain everything i requested).
TLDR: I got my stuff but it was way more difficult and time consuming than it had to be.

Like most others leaving a 1-​star review, I took advantage of Amazon’s great prices on their 4k TVs during Black Friday week. I purchased mine on 11/​26, and scheduled a delivery of ¹²⁄₃ between 12 – 3 PM.
¹²⁄₂ — Receive an automated phone call saying the delivery was going to be delayed, and that someone would call to reschedule. Annoyed.
¹²⁄₃ — No call from XPO.
¹²⁄₄ — Being proactive, I contact XPO to figure out what is going on (no wait time thankfully). Sonya swore she would contact me the very next morning once she got into the office. I’m sure you know what happened here. No follow up.
¹²⁄₇ — Figured I’d waited out the entire weekend and would find out more. Checked order status on Amazon, and… WHAT?! «Customer refused delivery»!!! Immediately contacted Amazon via live chat to find out what was going on. They were confused and said there was obviously some issues with transit status as the TV was still an hour away from my house at this point.
¹²⁄₈ — Still no call from XPO. I call Amazon directly and was issued a $ 75 credit for my inconvenience. At this point, it’s becoming far more than that. Updated Amazon status says the package is moving again. Which direction, I cannot tell.
¹²⁄₁₀ — Live chat with Amazon again. Profuse apologies and given assurance that XPO would contact me and I should more than likely have the TV before the weekend.
¹²⁄₁₄ — Monday, and still no communication.
¹²⁄₁₅ — Today, I contacted Amazon directly via phone for the second time. After Diego (a very helpful representative from the large items department) did a LOT of digging, I finally got a phone call back from him 3 hours later with the revelation of why I had not received my TV:
It was DAMAGED, in transit. Un-​freaking-​believable. The tracking status I had been seeing for the past week was the TV being returned to Amazon. As much as I wanted to be done with this, I decided to be be a masochist and opted for the replacement over the refund (I’d saved over $ 1300 on this deal with an additional $ 75 refunded last week). Now, I have a scheduled delivery of ¹²⁄₂₂ between 12 – 3 PM. Carrier unknown at this point. I should find out tomorrow.
Now, you’re telling me that with tracking numbers and the amount of correspondence I’d had, that someone couldn’t have let me know 12 days ago that the TV was damaged to the point it had to be sent back to Amazon without even letting me inspect it? XPO couldn’t have contacted me to give me a quick message to apologize and inform me that I needed to get in touch with Amazon for a replacement?
My great room has been in shambles since I was preparing for this TV to arrive. I have a new home theater system that came in 3 days before the TV was supposed to arrive that is STILL in the box. The wall mount that came in ¹²⁄₁? Yep, still in the box too. My Christmas decorations are still not finished since I can’t relocate furniture to mount the new TV until after it arrives. Yeah, it’s a LOT more than an inconvenience now.
XPO, do yourselves a favor and get educated on CUSTOMER SERVICE. For being such a big player in the global logistics game you sure don’t have a clue how to run a business. If I had a choice on a carrier for a large item next time, I’d rather bank on a drunken old man driving a wagon with 2 blind horses to deliver the package than rely on XPO to live up to its promises.

About a month ago I scheduled a delivery 6 business days out from the earliest date Amazon said I could have my TV by if I ordered within x amount of hours.
I called Amazon 6 times. I gave up twice when the CSR put me on hold trying to reach the carrier and was waiting for more then 20 minutes. They (amazon) called me back 4 hours later with shipping information which later turned out to be at best inaccurate. I used to work in logistics with other multinational carriers, it never takes that long to get an answer to a customer unless incompetence comes into play.
Each time the CSR I spoke with told me the carrier would contact me that day. I never received a call. I did learn they had arbitrarily scheduled a delivery date. After two more calls I found out they rescheduled it and never told me. Both times were right in the middle of the day when working adults would have to take PTO to accommodate their inadequate csm, communication skills, and scheduling.
On the last two calls I made the CSR told me my package was released for scheduling and that I would receive it in 1 to 3 business days. It has been over one week since.
I’ve given up on calling because the information I get each time isn’t reliable, and they make changes without updating Amazon or me.
If it takes nearly a month to deliver a standard package … that company is in the wrong business, and any company that partners with them deserves the loss of business they will eventually realize.
I’ll give Amazon another shot, but if I ever see XPO as the carrier when I check tracking info I will be cancelling my order.
XPO get your stuff together. There is such thing as growing too fast. Focus on quality. Not quantity.

I would give this piece of shit company a zero if it was possible. They were a complete no show for a washer/​dryer delivery/​installation from Lowes. No call or anything. They finally show up at the rescheduled date LATE. Then proceed to refuse to haul away the old unit even though it’s included in the delivery. So i had to call Lowes and wait on hold again while they contacted the delivery company to get them to do what they were contracted to do.
Every large company that uses this as their 3^rd party delivery contractor. You should really stop. This company is horrible. This is the most incompetence i’ve ever experienced with any appliance purchase.

Update #2: They said they will delivery the item today 12/​14/​2015, I called them to make sure that this is true. SURPRISE! No delivery! Also, they said that they couldn’t find my item and so, they don’t know when they are going to delivery it.
To be honest, I strongly believe that Amazon doesn’t want us to get our items. They tried to force me to cancel my order. I got a good deal, and I want my TV!

Amazon TV here too. Xpo no show, no call, no contact.
So, I ordered the tv two weeks ago, it was supposed to show up on the 5^th. I had to work that day, but took time off. The TV never comes, xpo never calls, nor did they reschedule. I end up going to work late, and do some research the next day, and I find these reviews.
I find out from Amazon that xpo went ahead and rescheduled, without my input, on a day I am again working. I call to reschedule and get a recording to call back the next day. After reading these reviews, I cancel the order. I can simply go to work and make more money than I saved on the cyber Monday sale. I can also save myself the aggravation.
Needless to say, I am now, a week later, getting phone calls about when they can deliver the tv. I explained to the first caller I cancelled, but after the second caller attempted to reschedule, I just let them for the entertainment value.
Xpo is such a train wreck. Their specialty is shipping and logistics, how are they so bad at it? I will never buy from a company that uses XPO as the shipping company.

This already ridiculous saga took an even more surreal turn for the worse this evening. Monday night, I re-​scheduled my delivery with XPO to this evening between 6 pm and 9 pm. I received the automated confirmation call last night that delivery would occur tonight, so I figured I was home free. Amazon’s website said my TV was out for delivery, so I waited for the ½ hour advanced call from the driver letting me know he was close to my house… but that call never came. I reached out to XPO tonight around 9:15 to find out what happened, and the rep told me that XPO does not deliver in my area between 6 pm and 9 pm, so my order was pulled off the truck. Of course, no one bothered to call me to tell me this, and I found that puzzling, ESPECIALLY SINCE XPO SCHEDULED AND CONFIRMED THE DELIVERY. How is that even remotely possible? Am I in Bizarro-​World? I was told that Amazon’s and XPO’s systems weren’t in sync, hence the different data. Ya don’t say? In other news, water is wet, the sun rose in the East, and there are three rings in a three-​ring circus. Who knew, right? Anyway, the XPO rep told me that the latest they could come was between 3 – 6 pm tomorrow, but like most people, I work and am not going to leave early for yet another false alarm. I’m now scheduled for 6 – 9 am on Saturday, and if it doesn’t come then, I’m officially done with this. Oh and Amazon still is sorry for my inconvenience. Isn’t that nice?
XPO, if you’re reading this, you truly, truly suck. As for Amazon, shame on you for allowing this to happen to your customers. There’s no way I will ever buy a large item from you when I know that XPO likely will have to ship it.

Yet another Amazon TV problem! Scheduled delivery from 9 – 12 on today (Wednesday). Amazon shows it still out for delivery, but no-​show still at 2pm. Called XPO (who isn’t listed on Amazon) and they say it’s scheduled on Thursday instead.
Honestly I don’t know if the issue is with XPO or Amazon, but somebody needs to fix it. XPO wasn’t willing to, we will see if Amazon will.

Ordered a TV on Amazon and XPO Last Mile is supposed to deliver it at home (part of Amazon’s Enhanced Delivery experience). The TV was supposed to be delivered on Dec. 2 between 6am-​9am. The guys did not show up. I waited all day, but no one ever came. By evening when I called XPO, they told me that the delivery wasn’t going to happen because the package hasn’t reached their warehouse. Amazon’s website shows that it is with them. I don’t know who is telling the truth and who is lying. As it is — it is bad that they did not call me to let me know about the delay. I had to take the day off to receive the delivery; wasted my whole day.
The TV hasn’t reached me yet as of writing this. And what’s worse is that they don’t even know when it will come. I called them again today and was told that the package hasn’t reached yet.
Amazon tells me that they «are working very hard to make this delivery happen.» Yeah right!
End of the day, I think this just reflects on service you get from Amazon, so my recommendation would be to not use Amazon for large item delivery, unless you know it is not XPO delivering in your area. Having read other reviews here, the problem is not locally in my area, it seems wide-​spread across the company. So if they are not at fault, they need to come out and let us know who is. Until then, the review will be against XPO’s favor.

Another XPO Last Mile horror story from an Amazon order of a 4K HDTV. Originally delivery was supposed to be on ¹²⁄₅ but got a call on ¹²⁄₄ that the shipment had not arrived at the shipment center but that they would call me when it had arrived with a rescheduled delivery date. Get another call on ¹²⁄₅ saying that once again the shipment had not arrived at the shipment center. Up to this point I am fine with everything because at least the communication is good.
¹²⁄₆ get an email saying that delivery was reschedule for 12/​8, then get a phone call on ¹²⁄₇ saying that my shipment will be delivered ¹²⁄₈ between 12pm-​3pm. Too bad that I’m at work at that time, but luckily I am an exempt employee so I can head home for 3 hours and just put in an extra 3 hours so I don’t complain. Then comes 12÷8… get home around 11:50am, make myself lunch and put in a few work calls when next thing you know it’s 2:45pm. On a whim I log into Amazon to track the package and lo-​and-​behold… «delivery refused, returning to sender»… WHAT?!? Took 3 hours out of a work day to wait for a package that gets marked as delivery refused when not once did anybody even show up to deliver?!?
So I log into XPO tracking and all it says for the most recent update is «Pending receipt» so apparently it wasn’t even dispatched for delivery? I don’t know. Either way, called Amazon and their customer service was amazing. They refunded me $ 75 on the order and copied me on a request for rescheduling delivery. I’m hopeful that it will workout, but I also hope that Amazon rethinks their contract with XPO with so many bad experiences (plus now Amazon is out $ 75). You’re losing money Amazon! In the immortal words of Ice Cube, «check yourself before you wreck yourself!»

Another Amazon 4k HDTV horror story. If I could give them 0 stars I would. Scheduled delivery for ¹²⁄₅ 12−3pm. Nothing happens. Wait til 6pm, chat up with Amazon, and they mention XPO’s having issues. So why didn’t XPO/​Amazon update the tracking to tell me they were having problems, instead of me sitting at home waiting for something that would never come? Amazon did offer me a small refund, but, I just want my damn TV. I’m told XPO will call me within 24 hrs to reschedule. Nope.
I get an automated message Tuesday night (3 days later, if you’re counting), about a schedule Wednesday delivery time. Hello, reason I scheduled for Saturday was because I’m at work damn it.
So I call in, and I read someone else was put on hold for 3 hrs before getting someone to pick up; IT ALSO TOOK ME 3 DAMN HOURS ON HOLD. So be prepared if you have to call in. Serious POS company this is. I want to change my delivery from Wednesday to Saturday, and they won’t «guarantee» that delivery date, nor will they give me a delivery window until Friday. Here’s hoping I’ll have my TV by Saturday night. Jesus.
I would never recommend this shipping company to anyone. And Amazon certainly has taken a hit in my book with large item delivery for having to use this terrible company.

So after posting this review, I was contacted by XPO’s customer service department and they apologized for what happened and contacted the management in my delivery area. They got things switched around and delivered my tv to me yesterday afternoon. That made it a 2 day delay instead of 11 and I am very satisfied with that. The box and packaging was in perfect condition and the delivery guys were very polite and cordial.
Thank you for making things right XPO.

Another horror story with XPO Last Mile. My TV from Amazon was supposed to be delivered between 6−9am this morning. It’s 3PM now and I’m still waiting.
I’ve tried calling XPO for the last 6 hours — they literally put you on hold for hours before you can talk to them. And then they tell me that the driver is not answering the phone and they cannot help.
How can a company like Amazon partner with a crappy business like XPO?

Ordered a 4K TV via Amazon, Amazon scheduled delivery for Friday morning. Thursday night my order indicated I’d refused delivery in a city I do not live in. I call XPO Friday morning, they have no record of the TV or delivery schedule. Amazon calls XPO and they say there is no record of the TV at all.
So who was updating the tracking record? Tracking shows it passed through 3 facilities with the San Leandro one being the last to scan the TV.
Does anyone think that this TV was actually lost by accident? I think some associate of a XPO employee now has my nice new TV.
XPO — you should screen your employees better and do a better job of tracking high-​value, high-​demand items.

on ¹¹⁄₂₅ with scheduled delivery for ¹²⁄₃. 12/​2, at 9pm, they call to say that they are not going to make it. The next available date is ¹²⁄₁₀. Call XPO customer service, after a while in the line (I guess they have SEVERAL clients complaining as well) I get a representative that tells me that ¹²⁄₁₀ is the best they can do. After some inquiries, since the product is just a couple of miles from my home, the guy just repeat that his sorry (which I hardly believe by his tone).
At this point, follows everyone advise from here. If your item is delivered by XPO, run away and find an alternative.

XPO call again to «inform me» that the TV is going to be late another week. Amazon keep insisting that this a one time thing and that they are doing everything possible. XPO continues to be horrible and Amazon is quickly joining them.

These guys are the 3^rd party delivery service for Lowes in the Vegas Valley. They did a great job overall with the delivery of my washing machine.
Communication — Good
Got automated call the night before delivery, with window time frame.
Day of delivery, driver called me with ETA and confirmed my location
They met the time frame, 10 –Noon …arrival a little after 11am
Staff — Great!
Professional — XPO crew had uniform and drove company truck
polite, friendly, confident, knew what they were doing. They worked quickly and hauled out my old washer, installed and tested new washer.
Attentive — Adrian noticed I had tray in my hallway, took initiative and placed the tray under washer for me. The next day I had another delivery and driver called to confirm it because he thought it was a duplicate order.
Compared to other deliveries I had before this, I thought it was the most stress free delivery service Ive dealt with.
