I’ve never given a one star review before. This Walmart is awful. The store is not clean the selection is very poor, we had to leave and go somewhere else.

I absolutely despise this Neighborhood Marketplace. The self checkouts that were designed to get you thru the lines more efficiently are an epic fail. I would much rather drive all the way to Publix or Kroger located about 5 to 6 miles up the street than ever shop at this location again. They had a line out the door and one cashier checking out, so I was forced you use the self check out system which alerted a cashier with every scan. I became so frustrated that I ended up walking out, leaving a half filled cart of grocery behind, I told the cashier that I refuse to do this today… Spend my money at you store and leave frustrated, the cashier/front end person looked and smiles as if she wanted to shrug her shoulders… She did not offer any assisted, but proceeded to cancel the transaction. Well, at least Walmart got a little work out of her sorting those returns. Kroger’s was just fine, and guess what??? Not only were my items scanned and bagged, but the nice bagger offer to take my items to my car!!! This was not my first bad experience with this particular location, there’s always to many staff members standing around and not offering assistance. I lost my debit card and needed cash back from over writing a check one day, well the self checkout systems are not equipped to handle those transaction, so I spent time and energy scanning everything, only for someone to come over and cancel out my entire order and ring me up at the service desk — can you say frustrating!!! …and what’s up with all of the clearance Items all over the store??? Messy racks everywhere. Words of advice: Clean it up & open some of those registers(you pay your cashiers to work, not stand around and watch me work).

This Walmart Neighborhood Market is fine if you are looking to pick up a few things, but I would not make it a habit to come here for major grocery shopping. The store is pretty small, their produce can be very hit and miss, and they just don’t carry some of the grocery items/brands that you would find in a regular Walmart. Also, there are not many cash registers with actual cashiers there to help check you out so if you have a ton of groceries you have to depend on the automated checkout lines(which I hate).

Its conveinant yes but for what price. All the veggies I get go rotten within 24 hours and the strawberries look good, I spend time examining them at store but get home and all the ones in middle are rotten. I do not buy my produce from them anymore. And I hate the turnstyle bagging. I ALWAYS forget a bag and/or come home with someone else’s. The check out people don’t care enough to double check. Also, this one a little dirty. The krispy crème donut case has dust on the inside and the glass looks like it hasn’t been washed in months. Come here for pantry items not produce.

It’s small and the produce looks pretty good. The few times I had contact with the staff. They were friendly. Once, when I was looking for coconut milk, I couldn’t find it. One of the employees was walking by and overheard me. She called out to me as I was walking away and asked if I was looking for coconut milk. She walked over to the cooler and took it out for me. Pretty good customer service. I wish I got her name. She’s a slim, very pretty young black lady. It was a few months ago.

I hit a WAL-MART in my NEIGHBORHOOD OK it goes without saying that I REALLYDONOT care for how WALMART treats it’s employees so I try NOT to EVER shop there but over the turkey day of giving thanks and helping to prepare the feast and a number of desserts I was nearly forced to come here. I say forced because I was FRICKINFREEZIN in the ATL and the clothes I brought with me from California were just not warm enough! So I was leaving the house and going to the closest place I could to get what I needed and be out! The only thing is when you’re helping and being of assistance and NOT just doing it yourself people DONOT tell you everything they need so you can make ONE trip they ONLY tell you what they need for whatever it is they are working on at the time, thus I had to make multiple trips here! Another factor to coming here is that the subdivision my parents live in is tucked so far back into PLUMNELLY it takes 15 to 20 mins just to emerge back into civilization and get to a main street. So again this was the closest place! The employees were very nice and they always had that one item I was sent out on a journey for! And I do mean a journey! The hours are pretty good as well as I was sent on a mission for pumpkin, or celery either early in the morning or late at night when I should have been resting or taking my AZZ to bed! I need all the beauty sleep I can get! It’s a pretty small store and doesn’t have the clothes and groceries that you see in the normal WALMARTS. It is just your basic grocery store with no frills and thrills! Designed to be just convenient enough to take business away from the other grocery stores that are not as close! And it worked for me at least! The only bummer is once you get used to coming here for things and need something a bit more specific they don’t have it and your forced to go somewhere else making your trip much longer and more annoying. Then you began to wonder why you just didn’t go somewhere else in the first place, because you knew that they would not have blah, blah, blah! The reason is because you have be brain washed after 2 or 3 trips here to think if they had x, y, and z that they will also have a, b, and c and THEYDON’T or DIDN’T! So while this place is ever sudo convenient for the most part you will find yourself getting the royal runaround and going elsewhere for any item that WALMART deems NOT basic enough to keep in there neighborhood store. GOODLUCKNOT getting the ROYAL run around!

The selection on the basics is good. Usual Walmart prices and selection. Location is two miles from my home which is good if I need something quick. This location doesn’t have fresh seafood which I eat a lot of for health reasons. Minus three stars for this. Other than that, it’s a Walmart minus most of the non-edible junk.
