We HIGHLY recommend V.P. Painting, owned by Scott Sherman. The last paragraph is the text from my eMail to Scott Sherman after they finished painting the exterior of our home, to include our porch and deck in 2013.
This is the 3rd time Scott Sherman’s Company has painted inside/​outside this house. Below are the 3…
1st time. He was hired by the previous owners and painted our home in 2008 and did a great job.
2nd time. We hired Scott to partially paint our interior, specifically the high walls in the main entrance/​landing of our home. What really impressed me was Scott’s crew doesn’t use tape/​masking off trim. Rather they use a brush and incredibly steady hands. Their trim painting came out as good if not better than mine and I use Green Tape. Also, I used a Behr paint and Scott uses Sherman William’s products. He took my paint and matched the colors to a «T». Very nicely done and blended together perfectly.
3rd time. We decided to repaint the entire exterior this year as we have different color likes verse the previous owners, so we made the house «our home». Scott was instrumental here too. He guided our color combinations to make sure our home matched. During the initial home inspection, they found numerous pieces of rotted wood where the Hardy Board butts together at the corners, plus trim around the fireplace. Scott’s crew replaced all the damaged wood, cleaned out the Carpenter Bee holes, sealed them, and then painted after properly prepping, and of course, started off by power-​washing our entire house too.
We have recommended V.P. Painting to our home association as well and feel, stressed, the quality of their work. You do get what you pay for and if you want your home properly prepped and painted, you need not look any farther. Call Scoot!
Good morning Scott,
Your guys wrapped up the job last night and the house looks excellent. Your Lead is a solid guy and made sure things were done correctly. He kept the other guys focused and on target. I’m impressed with the young man. We did a walk-​around early last evening and I couldn’t see any issues/​no complaints. Susan and I are very pleased with the outcome, color choices, etc. If by chance we find anything «off» within the the next month we’ll give a call/​e-​mail.
