The Breast Center PC

Dr. Goodwin is marvelous. I’ve been seeing her for 2 ½ years. She performed my biopsy and breast cancer surgeries. Dr. Goodwin also guided me to form an excellent team of specialists. I’m very thankful for her help. She is very attentive and more than willing to answer questions. Does a great job of alleviating anxiety and concerns during a very emotional time. It is very convenient that she has an office on the floor above the Women’s Center at Kennestone Hospital. Get the mammogram done and then up to her office for an appointment.

I have been going here for years since I had an abnormal mammogram. I have been so very pleased going to this smaller office for mammograms and ultrasounds. It is so much better than going to the huge women’s center type locations where you feel like you are just a number. The staff at The Breast Center is so friendly and caring, and they treat you very well. The mammogram technician has always made it a pleasant (yes, I said pleasant) experience and actually quite painless. Dr. Israel is great, as are the wonderful NP’s. I’ve never had a long wait. They have always been very efficient! Highly recommend!

Not sure where to begin. The whole experience of having to get your breasts examined is frightening all on its on and the unfriendly and inconsideerate staff doesn’t make it better. My appointment was at 12:30. It is now almost 1:30 and I am still waiting. The front staff barely looked at me as she asked for my $ 50 co pay. It looked like she was surfing the web as she couldn’t take her eyes off her computer monitor. Then they stuck me in a room with a paper gown for what seems like forever but 45 minutes so far. No nurse has checked in on me. No explanation of what will take place. And NO apologies! Just me, my paper gown and the machines. My husband is here waiting because they told me it would be best to bring someone along. Ok so now we both wait and wait and wait. By the time I end this review I have been waiting now close to an hour and a half. What this says to me is that I am not valuable and neither is my time and you don’t care!
