Simoniz Professional Oil Change

As a small business owner I like to support my local businesses in my neighborhood if you don’t support your neighborhood your neighborhood businesses will go away. this is a fine establishment, I bring all my cars here they always take good care of me.

Oil changes have gone up to $ 30 – 35 and interior (vacuum wipe down) is no longer included in the wash. Smh
i was very disappointed in my last visit to this establishment. I’ve actually been going to this place for about a year now and for the service I thought the price was very fitting. In this day and age of the infamous $ 19.99 oil change I think charging me $ 60 for an oil change on a 5 year old American made car is very unacceptable.
I kept asking the guy why was it so high when I usually pay $ 40 (I get the 5000 mile change) and he completely dismissed me and handed me some rebate paper to mail in and said I’d get $ 10 back that way. To start off the guy didn’t even ask me what kind of oil change I needed or wanted. I figured he would look it up since I’d been there before, but I think he just charged me for the highest price everything.
The vacuum job that’s done on my car is usually pretty crappy, I guess that’s what I get for free. I tell them I have a dog and ask that they make sure they get the hair and they never do… My oil changes are cheaper at the dealership (what an oxymoron). Definitely wasn’t worth the money. I’m so disappointed.

I’ve been going to a different place to get my oil done almost every time for the past year or so now, just to see the variety of ways local shops will service you. This place caught my eye because of its advertised price of $ 19.99 (most vehicles), which is about $ 8 lower than the last few places I’ve been to, plus it comes with a complimentary car wash. My car (an ’03 Tahoe) required an upcharge of $ 6 for two additional quarts of oil because its large capacity, which I was used to.
I was pretty happy with the work done here. They didn’t try to upsell me on anything and checked all my fluids/​tire conditions/​air free of charge. They got me in and out in 20 minutes as they predicted, which is shorter than the average wait time. They were friendly and efficient and I didn’t get huffy and impatient like I usually do waiting at these places.
The car wash that is advertised with the change is given to you in the form of a free voucher that you can use any time up within 15 days of your change, with any vehicle, which is nice. Though the wash is only a basic run thru worth $ 3, its still nice to have something thrown in, especially when the price is lower than average.
