I’ve never had any issues with my eyebrows being threaded here, they have always done a decent job but the lady who did my henna today did a sloppy job! My mom had been here visiting so I decided to take her to get her eyebrows done then thought to try henna. It was my first time first off, She told me to find a picture on the internet then started. She was sloppy. It was henna in the palm of my hand. I was annoyed because I could tell she was rushing. My finger started to itch and she said it wasn’t suppose to happen. My mom then decided not to get hers done anymore. I sent a picture to my someone and they even said it looked sloopy. Price was decent $ 10 I guess you get what you pay for. I won’t be going back for henna!

Took my kids(!!!) to get Hina on their hands. I called to make an appointment the day before & they told me it was $ 14 per child for both hands. I went in & walked out 2 hours later(yes, I had an appointment & still had to wait) paying $ 56!!! Did I mention it was kids hands?! And I probably would have done a better job myself. Total rip off. Avoid this place, unless you’ve got a money tree in your back yard!

I have been going to Nissa for YEARS&(along with a friend who I referred) have literally followed her from Gwinnett to her current Marietta location. Her threading NEVER disappoints(and I am VERY picky). No one else is allowed to touch my eyebrows; no matter how badly they may need shaping. I’ll wait until I can see Nissa. I refuse to risk having super thin eyebrows or Lego-esque shaping. I don’t worry about either issue when I sit in Nissa’s chair. She is very sweet and aims to make you happy. Also, Ruby Beauty Center has a FREE b’day eyebrow promotion going on. The only thing better than paying the normal $ 6 for beautiful ‘brows is getting beautiful ‘brows for FREE! So… go let Nissa beautify those ‘brows!

Threading was cheap fast and painless but left my brows a little sparse. Lash extensions were bad. Mini-facial was ok. Just get your brows done and go… skip the extras

I stopped in the other day to get my eyebrows threaded and I’m not entirely sure what to think. I walked right in and there was no wait, she got right to it. It was sort of abrupt though, she didn’t even bother to ask me what I wanted, aside from«threading». I wanted them shaped, but it’s sort of my fault for not being more specific so I’ll let it slide. Aside from that the only real issue was the lighting. It was so bright and harsh that my eyes HURT, and I had trouble opening them again once the threading was all done. I know it doesn’t seem like a huge deal, but it was pretty unpleasant. So, minor issues, good price, and my brows definitely look better then they did previously. Threading hurts less, costs less, and looks better than waxing.

I was perusing through the reviews here on Unilocal looking for an affordable place to take my sis in law for her beauty needs. This place seemed promising. Unfortunately we were greatly disappointed. She wanted to get some lash extensions done and they informed me that they do them and for a good price! It literally seems to me that the young lady that did the extensions had never done this before(although she told my sister in law she had). SIL actually brought in her own lashes and the first set was ruined by the lady while she put them on! She tried to say they were too small for her eye which was ridiculous since you should check this before you start gluing anything on. When she pulled the lashes off to start over, she ruined them(and they were the expensive kind!) and tore out some of my SIL’s real eye lashes. Being the giver of second chances that she is, my SIL decided to try one more time… and the second time was hardly any better. When I took a look I was mortified to see that the black lash glue was spread all over her bottom lids and it was uneven along the top of the lash. The lady told us this could be fixed with eyeliner(REALLY???) On top of it… the lashes were crooked! To my horror she told us that my SIL is picky(so being picky at this place means you want your lashes glued on properly and not crooked! Uh OKAY) Then when another woman decided to jump in and try to rectify the situation by cleaning off the bottom lids. She ended up rubbing my SIL’s eyeball pretty roughly with the make-up remover drenched Q-tip(and when my SIL told her to stop she remarked that she had moved!!) At this point my SIL’s experience had gone so horribly she jumped out of her chair, paid what she owed(seriously, they should not have accepted payment and offered a coupon or discount of some sort especially after messing up one pair of her lashes), and we got out of dodge. Neither one of us will EVER go back to this place or recommend it to anyone else. After arriving home later in the evening the lashes were already curling up at the ends and came off pretty easily… and wow a small chunk of her real lashes are gone!

We went to Ruby’s because it is close to home. Super impressed with it’s cleanliness and friendly service. The eyebrow threading was only $ 6 and very well done.

Best threading place I’ve found. Staff is always friendly. Eyebrow threading is just $ 6. place is always clean … may have a wait because it’s a full service Indian salon. Bring cash if you aren’t spending more than $ 10 to avoid the extra $ 1 charge. I recommend Munira for threading but she only works Friday and Saturday.

Great for threading. I went here for eyebrow and upper lip threading. It was not that busy. The lady who worked on my face was quick and I didn’t feel much pain.

My favorite place for threading. You can’t beat the $ 6 price. And it’s where all the Indian women go, so of course that’s where I want to be. There is usually a wait, so be prepared. Staff is friendly. Bring cash.

$ 6 to get my eyebrows threaded and it was the best I’ve had done since living in Atlanta! Be prepared with cash because you can’t use debit/credit unless you spend $ 10 or more. Other than that, I thought they did a great job and the price is definitely right.

The older woman in there(I believe her name is Nissa) worked her threading magic on my brows for $ 6!!! She did a lovely arch! I don’t think you can beat that price in the area. They also do henna and various types of facials and hair, although I can’t vouch for those. They only will run your debit for for a minimum of $ 10 so be sure to bring cash. nicely enough they ran my card anyways since it was my first time there as a courtesy. Tip: it’s located in the micro center shopping plaza

Never ever have i seen such careless employees. I went to Ruby with my friend and the lady was talking on her cell phone when we entered the salon. Even after seeing us she didn’t even bother to end her call. For the first time in my life i saw someone do eyebrows while talking on their cell phone THEWHOLETIME. Who treates their customers like that? Dont mistake the call to be something urgent. It was sheer gossip. We were really hoping that at some point she might end her call. But NO. She remained talking, talking and talking NONSTOP. VERYCARELESSATTITUDETOWARDSCUSTOMERS. HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE. ABSOLUTELYNOPROFESSIONALISM!

I had heard about the Decatur location from a cousin but when I googled«Ruby Beauty Center» a spot in Marietta(closer to my home) popped up. Escatic(because I didn’t have to travel all the way to Decatur to get my eyebrows did) I decided to try. And I am glad I did, because I absolutely loved it! Nice place. Good eyebrows and cheap too. $ 6. Now who can beat that? Ruby Beauty Center is also a hair salon too, although I don’t know what textures they specialize in… I am trying to hard to remember the name of my eyebrow stylist. I’ll edit when I remember. Oh yeah, and this place is BRAND new. It only opened in July 2009.
