Red Curry Thai Restaurant

My sister and I found this darling little restaurant on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. Family run and owned, this place was clean, nicely decorated and very welcoming.
We ordered the red curry with veggies and chicken, the spring rolls and the sticky rice and mango. The spring rolls were fairly run of the mill, but hot and fresh. The curry was the best I have had in a very long time. It was full of flavor and deliciously rich. White meat chicken throughout and crispy veggies made this dish so good I actually returned the next day!!! The mango sticky rice was good, but not my favorite.
I absolutely recommend this darling little spot. The service is exceptional and the food is delicious.

Needed to grab a bite while killing time before my next appt. found this place accidentally. Wonderful Google reviews. Decided it was worth a try. I was not disappointed.
My server was Zeke (think that’s what he said. Soft spoken). College kid just finished first year of school. This is his first job (ever!). He’s a finance major — strange first job pick to me since his major is finance. I’m sure this was an easy choice as a lot of college kids choose to do this
Anyway… Very good service. He tried hard. The owner (I assume the older gentleman shadowing him was the owner) only stepped in when I had extra questions.
The server was attentive without over servicing me. The older gentleman checked in on me once as well.
The food is made fresh to order. The quality of the food proved this to true. Vegetable were fresh, still crisp, light basil Thai sauce. Very mild spice in my opinion. You can change spice level. If you like your food spicy, be sure to ask them to step it up.
Everything was delicious. Atmosphere was pleasant. I highly recommend this restaurant.

To-​go red curry chicken and basil chicken entrees were quite good. The spice is very mild, so some may want to ask them to kick it up a notch. Our order stayed very hot during our drive home. Interior décor and deck are very pretty, but the place is quite small. I’m guessing it fills up on weekends. We stopped here once before but left when we saw the low-​80s health score. I’m glad we gave them another chance because it was up to 100. (I wonder how many people pay attention to health scores?)

Came in for an afternoon lunch before work. Small restaurant, eclectic atmosphere with flowers on tables. Service is simple and efficient. Food was outstanding. Warm and creamy Tom Kha Soup, very nicely spiced Pad Woonsen, and I must say, the best sweet sticky rice and fresh mango. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Red Curry!

So grateful to have this place so close to work. In a sort of wasteland of food, this place is a gem!
Sweet owners greet you upon arrival, and are prompt throughout the meal. Never too pushy, never neglectful, just right.
My favorites here are the curry dishes, particularly the green curry. A lunch serving is about $ 7 and sometimes I can even stretch it into two meals. {My fav thing to do is to reheat the leftovers for breakfast with an egg on top. Does that bother you? Oh well.}
The Tom Yom soup, potstickers, house salad, summer rolls are all delightful. I do wish that for lunch the salads and soups were a bit more discounted, but everything is made with good ingredients and a lot of care, you can’t complain too much.
I do get nervous that they’ll just disappear since they don’t tend to be very busy when I go in for lunch. So East Cobbians, do your part and eat here!

Wonderful! Great service, delicious food, and very authentic! Got a free Thai tea using Unilocal check-​in, it was a little on the sweet side for me but the flavor was addicting. The pad thai and coconut soup were very fresh and delicious. We’ll be back!

Ordered take-​out from there on Friday, ³⁄₁₈. It was just one entrée and one appetizer. I was told it would be ready in twenty minutes. OVER ONE HOUR LATER it was finally ready. Food is just ok and interior of restaurant doesn’t look particularly clean. Never going back.

Thanks Unilocal for leading my fiancé and I here. We were over in East Cobb looking for a good dinner place. We love Thai food and came across this restaurant on Unilocal.
We ordered the veggie egg rolls as an appetizer. They were nice and crispy and came with a dipping sauce.
For our main entrees, we ordered tofu pad Thai and chicken massaman curry. We both agreed that portion sizes were perfect and we left fully satisfied.
Oh, and service was excellent and our bill was only $ 25. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some affordable and tasty Thai food.

Neighbors told us about this excellent restaurant. The food was amazing. Fresh, flavorful, just the right amount of heat per how they described the dish. We started with Basil Rolls and then had Red Curry (because of the name) and the Chicken Noodle Bowl. So yummy. Loved everything. Will definitely go again, want to try other dishes, but it will be hard not to just order these again.

This is my new favorite Thai restaurant. Its really cute and the food is so good!

Popped in for the first time for a quick lunch. Pad Thai, basil rolls and yellow curry with shrimp. Fresh And delicious food, pleasant service, reasonably priced. We will definitely be back. A very pleasant surprise for an unassuming little café.

We stopped in here for a quick dinner before meeting some friends in Marietta. The restaurant is in a small strip near Kohl’s & Whole foods shopping center. The parking lot is also small with limited spaces.
We ordered yellow curry with tofu and veggies and chicken pad kee aw. The yellow curry, served with steamed rice, was mild, more so than I expected. There was sufficient amount of fried tofu pieces in the curry with broccoli, potatoes, onions and green beans. Overall the curry was decent. The noodles with chicken was seasoned with thai flavors. We agreed it wasn’t outstanding. Customer service is friendly. We noticed they have many take-​out orders.
I recommend Red Curry for those in the area that wanted a quick meal on a weeknight.

Red Curry Thai Restaurant truly deserves a five star, after our wonderful experience here tonight. Don’t forget to press check-​in to get your free sweet Thai tea. It’s quite addicting for any one with a sweet tooth.
Location/​Parking:
Red Curry Thai Restaurant is a small restaurant located in Marietta, across the street from Mt. Bethel Park. It is right next to a dentist & a kid’s hair salon. Parking is very limited, so make sure to come early on weekends for lunch and dinner.
Food/​Pricing:
All the dishes here are very affordable. Most appetizers are below $ 6, and the main dishes range from $ 9-​$ 13. We pigged out on 2 plates of fried tofu, Thai chicken on skewers, bowl of Jasmine rice, egg rolls, Pad Thai with shrimp, and Thai hot noodles all for under $ 50! You could tell the chef was used to cooking authentic Thai food because Thai hot was really THAI HOT (super spicy and flavorful!) Even my picky four year old enjoyed all the food, which speaks volumes.
Service:
There were two servers, a male and a female both in their mid 40s-​50s. They should be wearing medals for their kindness. The servers were constantly checking if each customer’s needs were met. Super friendly, but not in an overbearing way.

This review has been a long time coming! We went here a couple of times a couple of years ago and then moved to the West Coast. Now my family and I are back and went again after SO long!!! I couldn’t believe it got even better than it was before, but it HAS! The food here was always fantastic but now with the place redone to a more warm, welcoming setting, it couldn’t be any better.
We ordered the Basil Roll for appetizer. Nice, fragrant, delicate. My husband had the yellow curry for lunch and declared he had now found his new «favorite dish». I had the Pad Mee Kao which was fantastic! My only complaint is that I asked for it Thai Hot and it wasn’t hot enough for me… but then, most normal human beings don’t eat hot and spicy like I do.
Last but not least is the VERY reasonable pricing. Our lunch was less than $ 20 plus tip.
You can’t go wrong with this place! For those who truly appreciate authentic Thai food (or at least as authentic as it will get here in Atlanta), this is a must go!

Cute little place! Normal sized portions. Meaning not fatty American sized servings. Everything was delicious from the roti app to the dessert. Looking forward to coming back.

I went in here for the first time for lunch today in almost a year. It used to be kinda dumpy and out dated inside but the food was always great. They had completely redone the restaurant and the environment had done a complete 180 turn. It was very nice. I have always liked this place because when you order something thai hot it actually comes out with real heat behind it. I had the green curry chicken today and ordered it thai hot. It was amazing!

This is a great find in Georgia. It’s very clean and decorated well. I had the Thai Tea: amazing, Yellow Curry with Chicken, and Shrimp Pad Thai. The portions were large, and the shrimp were really large. This place is wonderful for the price and service.

Excellent little Thai restaurant in the heart of east cobb. Owners are from the north and Bangkok, so you have a nice blend of the soft side of ‘Thai spicy’ in the form of curries, steer fries and noodles. The chicken satay is very well done, with the classic peanut sauce and pickles. But the appetizer winner is the Golden Crab– a fried dumpling with a perfect sweet n sour sauce.
Im a fan of the pad woon sen, which is a nice and clear rice noodle. Think of pad thai, but with less italian pasta looks. Family keeps on the specials: soft shell crab in green curry (an actual full crab, but not bigger than a hand), red snapper and catfish in ginger sauce.
Cannot skip desert, with the classic sticky rice. I dont get the green custard topping it (maybe typical in some of the Hangover picked Bangkok spots?!).
When I get the other side of the pond Southeast craving, Red Curry is my to go place.

I eat Thai all over the U.S. and have been to Thailand several times. This was as good as any I have had. Excellent service, fair prices. I had green curry and atom Kha soup. Delicious.

I’m always excited to try a new Thai place, so I had to jump at the chance to dine at Red Curry Thai. I was told that this establishment is primarily take-​out, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect concerning the food quality, but I’m happy to report that my worries were for naught.
First off, customer service is excellent. The workers are very welcoming and accommodating. We had our drinks and an order of hot, fresh Spring Rolls before we were even settled down good. Our server was attentive and made sure we were satisfied with our meal.

So about that food! The spring rolls were very tasty, with just a hint of spice. And best of all, they weren’t overly greasy like some restaurants I’ve tried. So kudos for that. Now onto the main dish, the infamous pad thai. It seems there are two kinds of pad thai that are served in America, either sweet or spicy. The dish at Rec Curry is definitely the former. Ingredient wise, my meal was pretty standard, with your typical noodles, chicken, peanuts, eggs, tufu, etc. What did seem MIA was the red chili pepper. This made for a somewhat sweeter flavor, but it certainly wasn’t overpowering to the point that it ruined the taste.
Speaking of sweet, I must make not of the Thai tea I mentioned beforehand. Thai tea is apparently regular tea with some sort of milky cream on top. Simply mix it together and drink up (quickly)! However, even though this drink started off mildy sweet, after a few minutes of sitting, it became a sugar assault on my taste buds! I had to stop half-​way through, as it was more than I could handle.
Other than my tea, I really have no complaints. The food is standard Thai, with emphasis on standard. There’s nothing to really make the food standout and say «I have got to try this again», but on the flip-​side, there aren’t any red flags that made me say «I’ll never come back here» either. Top it off with excellent service and we have ourselves a winner!
