It’s all about $ for these people. My child was ill few months ago and had to visit the good doctor 5 consecutive times for the same misdiagnosis illness. Each time they force the same routine(so that they can charge your deductible) and spend less that few minutes with the patent. Finally we had to take the little guy to the hospital for correct diagnosis. The icing on the cake is after we change doctors, we are getting harassed for the jacked up fees for tests that were done in office each visit week after week. If you care about child please be careful.

We have been going to Dr. Holzwarth for over a year now for annual visits and once when my daughter was sick. The practice is run like any other practice should be run, and it’s sad to say but it’s a rarity nowadays. The staff is caring, the scheduling is easy, the nurses are gentle and great, the doctor is personable and attentive. She takes her time with you and has a great contact with the kids. I never felt rushed and I was comfortable asking questions. They are human size which I love.

My children have been patients of Dr. Holzwarth for nearly 8 years starting with the birth of our first child. We now have 3 children under her care and couldn’t be happier. Unlike so many large practices where you are just a number, she is a solo practitioner who truly gets to know your children. She has wonderful bedside manner, listens to the parents, and takes a balanced treatment approach in all things we’ve encountered. I love that if I need to call the after hours line, the return call is prompt and almost always from her. In addition to being a solo practitioner she has very low staff turnover. In the entire time we have been with her there have only been 4 nurses total and the office staff has been the same for as long as I can remember. We have always been able to see her same day for sick visits and never have a terrible wait.

We moved from East Cobb Pediatrics, or as I call it, Pediatric Cattle Call, to Dr. Holzwarth. We have been happy with the move. We see her every time, not a PA. It is a small practice, but I have been impressed with the personal attention. Dr. Holzwarth never acts like she is in a hurry, and graciously answers both stupid and smart questions – I know, I have asked both. Finally, I have been amazed by her diagnostic skill. Her experience really shows!
