Delicious, with something for everyone. The lamb shank is so tender and fall off the bone, and it is surely their most amazing dish.

Food was full of flavor. Price aligned with quality food. Clean little restaurant. Comfortable casual. The Combination plate had 3 different grilled meats. All were very tasty and tender. Good stuff.

This place is great. It’s small, but it feels cozy. It reminds me of a fond trip I spent in Israel this past summer. The staff here are friendly and the food speaks for itself. They are always happy to offer extra pita bread or sauce if you ask. The only thing I would change would be to update the interior. Some of the paint is chipping and the place looks like it could use some cleaning up. Other than that, this place easily earns my business. I won’t eat Mediterranean food anywhere else in town.

Great little spot, it’s my first time here. I got the Gyro it was great. I love gyros the Greek potatoes were just home fries with lemon and vinegar. They weren’t bad but I have had better. They were friendly and very busy and got me out quick. Couldn’t ask for more from a quick lunch.

Worst gyro meat I’ve ever tasted… please be warned… I’m throwing my sandwich away. The dolman weren’t that good either, but edible.

My 3 boys and I love this hole-in-the-wall place. The falafel is spot on. The platters are huge. As a vegetarian, the options are great. I suspect that take-out is excellent. My lads love the huge platters, and the grilled shrimp, if you are in to that sort of thing, is a fave. The staff are cool and helpful.

So I came to this restaurant the other day for the first time and I had a good(but not great) experience. I got a plate that came with rice, meat, salad and pitta bread. The plate itself was good but it wasn’t really that good. In other words it was average. 1 – 10 = 6 I was expecting a little bit more flavor on everything. Even the sauce they give you didn’t have a lot of flavor. So I definitely got disappointed because I was expecting them to be more ‘original’. The staff people were very nice. Restaurant looked clean and simple.

I love my routine monthly visits to the Mediterranean Grill there is one on Munro Drive in Atlanta and in Decatur on N. Decatur Rd. and here on Johnson’s ferry Road in Cobb . The location in Cobb is the one I’m writing about today. All three of the restaurants have a standardize menu, which is good food in all three, although the potatoes could use some authentication, I do not prefer them. the customer service is good at all of them, However the customer service at the cobb location is outstanding! The guys that work there are super friendly, they gave me a free drink for no reason at all and then gave some lady and her kid free hummus. it’s a pleasure to eat there and it’s a pleasure to do business with such nice folks.

Love the grape leaves, potatoes and the falafel wrap! They have several other vegan options as well. Go hungry, the portion sizes are huge and very filling!

Yumm, I went through a mediterranean kick a few weeks ago and couldn’t stop craving gyros. Used the scoutmob deal to check this place out and I’m definitely going to put it on my go-to list. Their gyro wrap was delish and so was their baklava. If you’re craving mediterranean in Marietta, check this place out!

Went there to pick up a lunch combo, and I was disappointed. Price wasn’t bad. For less than $ 8, you got a lot of rice, salad, pita bread, and 3 meat types. The problem is that none of those things tasted that good. It was all bland, didn’t seem fresh. My girlfriend has gone before and recommended the gyro, so perhaps I would have gotten that. Staff was kind. Interior was a bit dated looking. They showed some awards from a few years back about best Mediterranean cuisine, but I’m not sure what those people got. My food was far from the best. I’d check out Shish Kabob on Roswell Street instead.

Found a deal and was craving mediterranean food and was pleasantly surprised with the food here. The prices are also very fair prices, and the food portions are plentiful. I tried the combination feast and chicken kabob plate and was happy with both entrees. I was asked if I wanted some bread, and I said yes. And I was given a lot more than I was expecting, which was another pleasant surprise. The hummus was also very good, along with the side salad. Overall, I was very happy with my meal and would definitely come back here again.

Sounds like this is a popular spot. I am surprised the rating is not higher! We frequented the Midtown location when we lived down there, but this was our first time trying out the Marietta location. Fiancé bought a Groupon deal — $ 10 for $ 20 worth of food or something. So after a tough workout, we ventured out to Marietta to give the ol’ Mediterranean Grill a try. We went last night(a Tuesday) and the restaurant was fairly empty. I got a gyro platter and fiancé opted for the gyro sandwich combo(comes with a drink and potatoes or rice — he went with potatoes). In my opinion, the gyro platter is well worth it. It is $ 9 and you can make it last several meals — we were both eating it last night, I had it for lunch today and I have enough for lunch tomorrow. It comes with gyro meat, salad, rice pilaf(but I subbed for potatoes) plus a couple halves of pita bread. Seriously. The guys working there were extra sweet. They accepted our Groupon without a single roll of the eye and gave us lots of extra tzatziki sauce when we asked for it. They also gave us a small container of this really awesome hot sauce — I don’t know what it is exactly, but it reminded me strongly of sambal(chili garlic sauce popular in Asia). We were chatting with them a bit during our meal and they were just super nice and accommodating. Food came out super fast too. It’s been a really long time since I thoroughly enjoyed my meal like I did and left so satisfied. Definitely stop by and get a gyro!

One of few places that offers foul madames. It’s good! Also do not forget to try their falafel, gyro sandwich, rice pudding, and potatoes. The bread is fresh and so is the tea. Both the hot and iced tea are made of Ceylon and Earl Grey tea. Hot tea also has fresh mint leaves in it. Highly recommend trying the tea.

Disguised as an ordinary hole in the wall, this small restaurant has big taste for little prices. You’ll be please to find that their employees are very friendly and extremely quick with the gyro sandwiches. The taste is similar to their other locations and trust me, that’s a great thing to have in common. The gyro sandwich here, makes every gyro joint around the area seem worthless and totally as well as easily avoidable. Even though they have about two to three competitors down the road near Sandy Springs, but they are the only ones truly representing what a gyro sandwich should be, a fresh mixture of cucumber sauce with succulent lamb/beef meat on the go. I highly recommend the business lunch if you’re in before 3, it’s a total steal. The chicken kabob sandwich is fresh to order so it takes a bit longer than the gyro version. It’s a healthier alternative and worth the wait. The vibe is certainly casual and makes for a great quick lunch without the hassle. It’s certainly busy during the lunch hours and even more so during the evening dinner hours, from the visits I’ve had to this location. After 2:30 is when it truly slows down to almost a crawl, which is the perfect time to go. I’ve been going here for a few years now and am certainly glad they’re in East Cobb. It seems that with their success, they’re most definitely here to stay.

«Yeah, the people at Everything Must Go were just as difficult. They offered me a Blu-ray disc and a jar of hummus.» — You Don’t Mess with the Zohan(2008) A long time fan of Med Grill, but a newer patron of the East Cobb location. I must say, they cater to the lunchtime crowd. I can walk in, place my order and get my food and be on my way in under 10 minutes. That’s service! I’m a fan of kebabs and gyro — and Med Grill has it all. If you aren’t sure what you want, go for the Business Lunch Combo. With that you get a little of everything: Kefta, Gyro, Shish Kebab, rice, pita and a greek salad, plus a couple of sauces — all for under $ 8. It’s a great deal and will have you full in no time. My favorite is the shish kebab — beef kebabs, perfectly seasoned and cooked and served over rice with a greek salad on the side. So succulent and delicious. However, if they are really slammed and not paying attention, the meat might get over cooked(I like mine medium to medium-rare). So the earlier you get there, the better. Their kefta is also delicious with the warm spices. I do enjoy their gyro — but I don’t like gyro to be my entire meal. Their rice could use a bit more flavor, however rice is just a filler for me and I try not to eat as much as they give me. They give you so much food! That’s not a complaint, just a statement of fact — it’s really a great deal

was in a time crunch for a quick lunch and found this place on accident. they were promoting a special called the«business lunch», which runs from 11am to 3pm. the«business lunch» is about $ 7.60 before tax. this lunch combo consists of: shish kabob(beef), kufta(ground beef — almost sausage-like), and gyros(combination of assorted meats) slices on top of rice pilaf, and served with pita and a regular garden salad. the combo also comes with fountain drink. one thing I must point out is, I noticed they had the exact same thing in their menu with a diff. name. the««combination feast» in their menu offers all the same things as the«business lunch». the only difference is the lunch deal is $ 7.60, versus the rest of the day price of $ 10.50. as for portion difference — I am not sure of that, but I would still rather advise you to go with the cheaper option. aside from the background info of the combo lunch, I was highly disappointed. I was excited to try them after having such wonderful food at another mediterranean joint and due to a glance at their reviews. but with mediterranean grill, there was so much left to be desired. I would have felt a lot better if we had just stuck with one business lunch, instead of ordering 2. heck~ I should have been paid to eat them. the meats were dry, bland, and gave off such a bad aftertaste. the rice pilaf was flavorless and dry. the salad was not even greek. it was just a garden mix with perhaps a little lime juice. altogether, I felt like I was a cat eating either leftovers of shitty scraps that even cockroaches wouldn’t eat OR I was eating really low quality pet food. both me & the bf couldn’t even finish our food. what a waste of $$$ — even if it was a $ 15 meal for 2.

Mediterranean Grill is located in one of many strip malls close to the intersection of Johnson Ferry and Roswell Rds. It’s a small restaurant with limited seating. I visited for a weekday lunch and by the time we left, around 12:45pm, customers were hovering to grab our table. Mediterranean Grill has three locations: Atlanta(Midtown), Decatur(Emory), and Marietta(East Cobb). This is the East Cobb location. I’ve been to the Midtown location. I’ve heard good things about all three locations. This is a casual Mediterranean eatery. The focus is on food and value. Foods are cooked to order on a grill directly behind the ordering counter. There’s a pick-up counter for the food, next to the kitchen, and drinks, silverware, and napkins are self-serve. Take-out is a popular option and they do catering. If dining in, you have to take your plates, silverware, and trash to the trash and dishware bins after your meal. If the restaurant is busy, maneuverability can be difficult because the space is tight. There’s really nowhere for a line to form except right next to other diners. The food pick-up counter, drinks/silverware, and trash/dishware bins are all located next to each other in a narrow hallway. As you can imagine, foot traffic jams up here. Limited outdoor seating is available. The menu has a well-rounded selection of Mediterranean foods including hummus, baba ghanoush, dolmas(grape leaves filled with veggies, herbs, spices), salads such as tabbouleh(parsley, tomato, bulgur) and fattoush(pita, veggies) salads, pita sandwiches, gyros, assorted kabobs, lamb shank, and falafel(fried chickpeas). There are also desserts like rice pudding and baklava(sweet filo pastry). Portion sizes are generous, especially for the entrees which come with a few sides. Most menu items, including entrees, are about $ 10.00 or less. I ordered one of the restaurant’s most popular options: the«Business Lunch Combo Special» for $ 7.60. It’s a good value because it consists of shish kabob(charbroiled marinated beef, lean), kufta kabob(charbroiled ground sirloin), and gyro slices(seasoned blend of beef and lamb) plus a salad, rice pilaf, pita bread, and a fountain drink. I like that this plate allows you to sample a few different types of meat. The business lunch is only available Monday-Friday, 11:00am to 3:00pm. The plate also came with two sauces on the side: tzatziki sauce(yogurt-based) and a spicy, salsa-like sauce(unsure of name). Generally, it was a tasty and certainly filling plate of food. The meat was grilled fresh, but seemed to dry out rather quickly. Good thing for the refreshing tzatziki sauce. The shish kabob was relatively tough, but savory. The kufta kabob was like a well-seasoned sausage. Good flavor. The gyro meat was tender, smooth, and also savory. The side salad and rice pilaf were ordinary. The salad was a simple iceberg lettuce salad topped with some sort of light vinaigrette. The lettuce was satisfactorily fresh. I also tried some of the hummus, made of chickpeas, tahini paste, lemon juice, and garlic, and it was delicious. My only gripe is the pita bread was cold, cheap, and hard. The food came out lightning quick. Overall, I’m giving Mediterranean Grill four stars because it’s efficient and economical.
