Lizards & Lollipopz

My little girls and I visited lizards and lollipopz today. They were so excited! They have some cute things but it’s of course over priced, but you expect that, so it was no biggie… My girls grabbed their goodies then we proceeded to the line, where there was one lady w/​a friend in front of us paying for their items. The cashier, an older blonde lady, took her time w/​the customers in front of us. Never acknowledging us, not even once. Not a smile, or an I’m sorry just one moment… nothing! …I say this, because we, my daughter’s and I stood in line patiently for almost 20mins while the cashier chatted with the customers in front of us about absolutely nothing. At that time i then politely asked my girls to put back all of their things very neatly (still no acknowledgement), then we proceeded to leave… I looked back at the counter at the cashier as we left and FINALLY got some acknowledgement… she glanced at us from the corner of her eyes, then FINALLY checked out the customers in front of us. My heart felt extremely heavy by the coldness this individual had shown my girls and I. I will NEVER step foot in this store again.

Love this fun store! So does my 18 month old, my 16 year old and my husband! I have a hard time getting him out of the store! Such fun games and toys for kids! Good pricing and they have some throw back toys as well that will take you back to your early childhood!

This is a nice little shop in Marietta Square that opened earlier this year. It’s pretty much a toy store that’s related to Doodlebugz and one more shop called Rhinos and Rhinestonez.
There’s tons of plushies and games to look through. There’s even lego sets, small purses and coin wallets, and sometime a very distracting large ball… I’m sure this is the perfect place to look for gifts for younger kids, but I’m usually looking for toys for myself because I’m definitely very young at heart.
Service is fine as there was usually one person behind the counter whenever I visited and it wasn’t really busy or crowded. There’s always something interesting to check out if you didn’t see it there once before. So other than that, if/​when I’m in the area, I enjoy stopping by Lizards and Lollipopz in the square and seeing if there’s anything new I may or may not need… but I’m pretty sure I’ll get it any way.
