Kreative Learning Resource Center is a Marietta-based tutoring center that is dedicated to educating the whole child. We help students of all ages and levels improve and excel in their desired area of assistance, as well as overcome any anxiety linked to limited knowledge, lack of success with academics, or standardized test-taking. All tutoring sessions are conducted by experienced, certified teachers. Additionally, our instructional strategies are specifically designed to meet the needs of varying learning modalities. History
Established in 2009.
Kreative Learning Resource Center is a nonprofit organization envisioned by two public school teachers, Keyana Jaji and Latasha Demps.
KLRC is dedicated to improving the lives of youth, age 5 – 17 by establishing supportive relationships; and by providing a safe, healthy, rigorous and motivating environment that complements the school curriculum and broadens the understanding of the world beyond what they learn in the classroom.
Goals:
To increase academic performance in reading, math and science.
To support youth development principles.
To challenge student thinking through application and the use of higher order thinking skills.
To offer services that support family involvement and family literacy.
To form partnerships with the schools, family, community members and businesses.
To engage youth in the planning and implementation of meaningful service-learning activities in their community.
