Dave & Buster’s

After reading the reviews of those who suffered before me, I thought how bad can it be. It was terrible, service was barely existent. Not sure if our server was under the influence of something or just really not good at her job. The food was bad too, my medium rare double burger was served well and the fries were room temperature at best. The fish and chips was served deep dark brown, I assume it was either in the fryolator too long or the oil was old. I could go on but I digress. Dear David and Buster, tonight as a family we decided we will never be back. There are way too many options for dining and people work so hard for their money. Thanks but no thanks.

Sat ourselves near the bar. Ordered 3 beers for 3 guys. 2 beers were brought out and we haven’t seen the server in 20 minutes. My buddy went to the bar to get the third beer.
Wish I could rate the food, but we haven’t gotten to order yet.

Love this place! Great place to come unwind after a long work week. Food, drinks and games! Can’t beat it.

There’s are 2 reasons that I don’t frequent this place – service and food. Both don’t exist here.

Pretty bad.
Ordered calamari. Received more onion rings than calamari. Ordered meatballs like in the pic. Received meatballs unlike the pic. Server dissappeared. So I complained to another server who went to get the original server.

I know it’s a sports bar but I did not know that getting what you ordered with a decent server and food was an actual sport.

Worst service ever. I got to the location about 10 minutes before the Sunday NFL football games came on. Got a great seat at the bar… Then waited… 15 minutes for a bartender to acknowledge my presence.
She was playing on her phone, talking to the other bartender and doing anything except her job. I asked for a beer and a menu. She dropped off the beer and ran away before I could place an order for food. I finally had to flag her down to order the Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. The food came out in a timely manner and was good.
I had to again flag her down to get a second beer because my first was empty for over 10 minutes.
My final wait was another 10 minutes to get her to let me pay.
I will never go back!

Poor service, lack luster food and over priced games — not the trifecta I was hoping for.

First time coming here since they redid the place and I had sooo much fun! The bar area is nice and spacious and has several different screens for different games. The drinks are absolutely amazing! The watermelon coronarita, the candy shop drink, and the strawberry margarita were all good! The food was just alright. I ordered the steak and shrimp pasta with lobster sauce and it needed salt but once I added salt it was pretty decent. I’m giving them 4 stars simply because of the great drinks and games. This will be one of my go-​to spots now!

Was not impressed with the waitstaff at the restaurant area. He was rude and did not want to accommodate us. We had a large party of about 25 people. We explained that we could be separated and did not have to be seated together. He acted like it was going to be a problem. We argued for a few minutes… and finally just said screw it and took over the bar area.
I won’t ever be back.
Instead I’ll be going to the other gaming place that is near by…

Great place for family fun and food. Our Waitress was horrible and slow! Fake seemed like she didn’t wanna be there. The food was incorrect and her service was bad. Idk if a table of 4 was too many for her? My steak was suppose to be well done but I got it pink :(BUT, the pasta was Really good, I did enjoy that!!! And the steak after another one was brought out well done!

Cool place with a ton of tvs, video games, and a large bar area.
This place can be super expensive so make sure you go on the days they have deals.
There are 2 happy hours during the work week 4−7pm and one that is late night!
So do your homework and enjoy urself!

First time here. First impression very cool place. BIG. very spacious bar area and dining area. The people at the registration desk did a great job explaining everything. We ordered a appetizer and split an entry. The potato skins were great. The baked chicken with shrimp alfredo was good not great. The gaming was fantastic, alot of fun. Favorite game was Mario Kart. Kung fu Panda and Super Trivia were pretty cool. Star Wars game by far had the best effects, but it made my wife and I dizzy. Overall great time and we will be back!

First time here.. Got the combo for eat and play. We got the chicken and shrimp Alfredo. .tasty but would have liked an all shrimp option. Service was friendly but a little slow.
Games were lots of fun.. Really enjoyed Mario Cart and Trivia.

It’s fun to play games here but I would NOT come here to eat.
We have tried to eat here twice and both times we had to wait 30 minutes to an hour while half of the dining room sat empty. In our most recent trip, we were told the wait would be 20 minutes. 30 minutes later we were told it would be another 20 minutes at least. There were 9 empty tables in the dining room at that time. We decided to leave rather than wait an hour for a table.
All in all, I wouldn’t go here to eat. Only for the game room.

The short review is to either go here after you’ve already eaten or go here to work up an appetite so you can go eat at your favorite restaurant afterwards.
Brought my dad here for Father’s Day and we had lots of fun as expected.
My beef at this D&B is with the kitchen.
¾ of us ordered food on the eat and play combo menu.
1 Philly cheesesteak
1 artichoke chicken pasta
1 of the chicken dish with rice and some sort of mango salsa or something on top
1 burger
The Philly cheesesteak came out and was a bun with meat and cheese, all the veggies were missing, and by the time the waitress came back around and we could get the vegetables, that meal was not warm anymore.
My chicken pasta tasted fine but was borderline cold. And the chicken and rice dish was slightly warmer than that. I’m not over dramatic about food, not picky and have never ever complained about a meal to a waitress, I wouldn’t have this time if it were just one meal that was off.
Imagine taking food out of the refrigerator with the intention of heating it up and eating it, but then you get a phone call from Oprah and by the time you’re done talking to her about her garden you go back to the food and forget that you planned to heat it up and just eat it as is bc after a conversation with Oprah you’ve probably worked up quite the appetite. That temperature was the temperature of the food we were served.

We’ve eaten at this Dave and Buster’s quiet a few times over the years and one thing is consistent. We’ve never had a bad food experience at this restaurant. Sure the wait is a little long from time to time, we had a 25 minute wait with tables available on a Saturday afternoon, but we don’t complain (as waiting is typical).
Our experience started a little rough on this visit though. The hostess seemed like she didn’t want to be there and had a little bit of an attitude. Once we finally got seated, I requested for the Gluten Free menu for my girlfriend. the Waiter had no clue what we were talking about and when he returned he brought a menu and said «I think this is the allergy menu» and handed it over. We looked it over but the menu is very outdated. And only has a couple of entrees listed for each of the allergies. After asking the waiter a few questions he finally brought out a waitress who had to be gluten free also and she explained to us that most of their items could be ordered gluten free etc etc. The Waiter before that kept pointing out the soy portion of the allergy menu as in I believe he thought that soy and gluten free were the same thing.
Either way, we got food. He ordered the nachos (gluten free) as an appetizer and I ordered «the ultimate mac & cheese». I have had this meal before and well. won’t order it again. I say that every time but this was the last time. The ultimate mac and cheese is a mac and cheese bake with chicken and bacon. Its super rich and I was constantly looking for something to kill the cheese taste. I felt sick after I finished my meal from the richness and quantity of the food. It is a very good meal, but be aware. its a lot of cheese.
My other gripe with this place is the game room and my gripe goes along with everyone else’s. This dave and Buster’s is definitely for the kids. D&B is suppose to be an «adult arcade» but we constantly found ourselves either hovering around a game or being hovered around while we played. So we took to the games such as Spinna Winna which is a token game where you try to knock more tokens off the ledge and get tokens. Most of them were broken as they always are and the tokens are no consistent at all. We were constantly calling for support; some were nice and one girl was rude to us.
I am knocking 3 stars off because of the waiter, the rudeness of the staff and the amount of broke games present.

The service is iffy here. My bartender was fine, but overall service couldve definitely been better. Btw. It’s the one off Sugarloaf that has the bowling alley :-(. This place however has happy hr. (Mon — Fri only)

Terrible, absolutely terrible.
I went to Dave & Buster’s Saturday with my family to celebrate the first part of my birthday. I was stoked because I had never been and was looking forward to playing the games with my super competitive brother and cousins… That never happened.
When we got there we found a table and it took forever and a day for the waitress to clean it off. After wiping it down we were ready to order because we’d spent that time looking at menus.
She didn’t bring out my cousin and his wife’s calamari but was adamant about the fact that they never ordered calamari. Then another waiter brought out the wrong sandwich for a younger cousin of mine and when I told her about it she seemed as if she was bothered by me asking her to bring out the correct sandwich. She later spilled a drink on my brother, didn’t apologize, but another coworker saw what happened and helped clean him clean up a bit…
It was just a fucking nightmare. We left immediately after eating the sub par food. Never again.

This location is tired and dirty. The floor was sticky and the bar we sat at was gross. The menu was glued by a questionable residue that I had to peel to turn the page. I passed on ordering food as there was a strange smell coming from the bar. I had already ordered a drink that turned out terrible.
We tried walking to the game room but it was like walking into a college dorm fries and crumbs all over the carpet with a blatant disregard for cleanliness as if it was intentional. It was also hard to walk through as it was jam packed with little kids running around on a Sunday night. I don’t mind children but I might as well have gone to chucky cheese. We left right after and drove the hr to the sugarloaf location which put this d&b to shame.

I went here for my birthday, and our waiter worked with my family.
My boyfriend and I are vegetarians. They discontinued the vegetarian menu, but he worked with us to help us find a meal we could enjoy. He also helped my mother and sister get something they would enjoy.
After our meal we played games in the arcade.
Everything went pretty well.
Downsides: Table space is small.
Game credit is slightly pricey.

This is a rather fun place!!! I have lived in Georgia almost 13 years now, and within the last 2 months I’ve been to this place more than I’ve ever been before. From birthday get together, blind dates and happy hour meet ups, I’m here all the time. Lol.
I really like the atmosphere, its a very fun environment to hangout, play a few games and throw a few back. My first experience with food at this restaurant was not a great experience, I was very disappointed with the appetizer that was ordered. Since then I have ordered several times and have been very satisfied with my meals. My only other complaint is the drinks… they could use a little more kick.
Service has always been great, I don’t ever remember having the same waitress but all of them are polite. I’m sure I will make a few more memories at D&B!!!
BTW: Try the Million Dollar Margarita!
