We teach you the necessary steps to save the life of a person who is in sudden cardiac arrest or choking and typically that will be a loved one? 80% of Americans do not make it the hospital as most people do not know what to do. We show you how!

CPR and Safety teaches CPR and First aid. All of our instructors are certified with emergency or hospital experience. Our goal is to teach classes that are effective, enjoyable and our participants leave feeling confident that they could assist during an emergency.

A few hours with us and you will know how to preform CPR on an adult, child and infant. Including in every class is who to perform the abdominal thrusts on a choking person, how to recognize an allergic emergency and administer an dpi-​pen and much more!

For your convenience we will travel to your location for a group of 10+ people, we bring all the equipment to you. Areas we travel to are, Athens, Atlanta, Dalton, Alpharetta, Rowell, Duluth, Rome, Cartersville and many more.

History

Established in 1998.

Adrienne MacDonald founded CPR and Safety (formally HeartThrob CPR and Safety) because of the brain damage her brother lives after CPR was not administered as soon as it was needed and after her daughter was born and she wanted to make sure parents and teachers know how to keep their children safe. Time is of the essence when CPR needs to be preformed as brain damage begins with as little as 4 – 6 min and want people to be aware of that.

Manager

I started as an apprentice, carrying mannequins, setting up tables, and cleaning up after classes. After many years of helping in classes I became a manager of CPR and Safety. I began handling registration and helping with customer service in addition to my other responsibilities. Today, I am a fully certified CPR and First Aid instructor through the American Heart Association. Our customers always rate us #1 and say that we have the best and most interesting classes that they have ever taken.

I love that I am helping to save lives everyday!
