Solid local used book store. Half off of the publishers price unless otherwise noted. I think their largest section is romance; however, my husband found plenty of sci-fi and mystery. They have a couple bookcases of young adult, too. Oh, and a western section which you don’t see every day. Definitely check it out if you live nearby.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great selection, and plenty of seating for those interested in reading before buying. One of my new go-to used book stores. Also, half of publisher’s price is more than fair for used paperbacks. That’s $ 2.50-$ 4.00 a book on average. For the instant gratification it’s WELLWORTHIT.

I NEVER write reviews for places– usually every experience is different. But I had to for this place. I’m really picky about what I like. And of course, when I find an author I like, I read them out. Big chain stores will check the computer for«similar authors in genre», but they know off the top of their head, and walk you right over to it, giving personal opinions etc. Well, except once when we couldn’t remember how to spell an author’s name, then we used the computer. Every section has a chair or two for you to sit and take your time. They also give you credit for your previously read books(of course, it depends in if they need what you have) and some books are for purchase only– no exchange– but they tell you. They even know dates of new books being released– that they won’t carry until one has been exchanged! I’ve been to LOTS of book stores in lots of cities. This is THE best one by far!

Great place for books! The owners keep the stock rotated pretty well so you can find some of the harder titles/authors. They also have book signings/readings and discussion groups. Pretty good exchange policy.

This place rocks! I will never buy another book from a big chain bookstore again! The owner and her staff are SUPER nice, and they’ll reserve books for you if you call or Facebook them. The owner frequently purchases new books in bulk that are really popular and sells them at a drastic discount, too! They have a great exchange program, too. Love, love, love this place!

An excellent store with the nicest people running it. I tend to fly through books so I go here quite a bit to restock. I have yet to go here and leave without a stack of books.

note: I shop for sci-fi/fantasy, historical fiction, psychology, spirituality, biographies, and sociology, and only occasionally glance at general fiction or other genres, so I cannot rate them. My criteria for a good used book store: it has quick turnover, so that when I go back next month there are plenty of new books to pick over. — Book Exchange rates a 4.5 on this — not exceptionally fresh, but not stale — there’s always something new in each section I visit(I go about once a month). I never leave empty-handed. it stocks a good number of books in a wide variety of genres. — Book Exchange rates a 5 on this! I don’t know how they do it, but they keep a good selection of even the most obscure genres. it is clean, organized, and well-lit, with friendly helpful staff. — Another 5 stars! Very well organized and clean, despite being chock-full of books. They’re always prompt and knowledgeable, and they don’t get annoyed with me for dashing in 15 minutes before they close(not even the one time I almost got locked in when I started reading something in the back). prices are low, with fair trade-in value. — 5 stars here as well! This is the only place I bring books to trade, because not only do they give a fair amount of credit, but I can count on finding something that I want to get with that credit. Overall, bibliophiles will be thrilled! It really doesn’t get any better than this!
