Ordered some parts for my Carrera on 10÷7÷15. I made two separate orders. One for two licence plate lights and the other for a cover piece and fasteners for under the front hood. The next day I get an email from Auto Atlanta saying there was a problem with my credit card that they had on file. I don’t know how this could happen since I didn’t use the card on file. I entered all my card information when I placed the order. Anyway I called them and they said they had the wrong expiration date on file. Ok. So while I had them on the phone I asked them to combine my two orders to save some money on shipping. They said sure they could do that. All good now. Right? Wrong. The orders were not combined into one shipment. When I ordered the cover piece it said shipping was $ 8.64 in the shopping cart with an asterisk stating oversized or international items could cost more to ship. Apparently this little asterisk let’s them charge you as much as they want to ship your item without bothering to notify you of the cost. So on 10÷12÷15 I get the final invoice emailed to me and discover they have shipped the cover piece FedEx ground for $ 25.00! So between the time of my order and 5 days later when they shipped it the shipping cost jumped from $ 8.64 to $ 25.00. Now if they had notified me that it was now going to cost me $ 25.00 to ship my $ 38.00 cover piece I would have told them to cancel the order and just bought the part locally. I called this morning to let them know I was not happy about not being notified of the increased shipping cost and was told there was nothing they could do for me. I have learned my lesson and post this review as a warning to others. What looks like a good deal on the website just might become a bad deal when they jack up the cost of shipping! At the very least they could notify the customer of the shipping cost before shipping the items.

If you need a qualified 914 mechanic, these guys are your best bet. It won’t be cheap (is it ever?), but they work they do is solid and they stick to quotes and are pretty good at keeping in contact with you. Friendly folks who take the time to tell you what is wrong with your car and why.

Showed up at closing time on a Saturday looking at a 928. Was met by Don who was very accommodating. He showed me some cars and was very knowledgeable about the different Porsche models. Even though it was late on a Saturday he seemed glad to help me and was never in a hurry to get out of there. If Don is any indication of their customer service I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

I have ordered porsche parts from them for years, i ordered a front caliper 3 week ago and now they say after telling me it is in the shop being rebuilt, now they need my caliper to rebuild it, i think i will do that and not buy any more stuff from them

I ordered by part number and they sent me the wrong part. I called and was told to return it to get a refund. The part would not work in the car I was working on so had to send it back. I paid the postage for the return. It took almost a month to get credit on my card and they deducted 20% restocking fee and ignored the freight I paid. I called and they told me to stick it. The total sale originanally was $ 149.00. After it was over it cost me $ 41.62 and I received nothing.

I tried to purchase a NOS/​OEM Cat Converter which he is selling on ebay for roughly $ 59. I purchased the cat convert via eBay, and paying with Paypal. (they were no help). Somehow AutoAtlanta shipped the part to my old address (Boston MA) but I now live in Sacramento CA.
I immediately saw the problem and contacted Auto Atlanta. Unfortunately, they had already boxed and shipped the package. FedEx still had the Cat Conv in transit. I asked Auto Atlanta to re-​route the package (at my expense). They told me, to «go by my old address and grab it.» Laughing, I told them, apparently you didn’t notice my old address is over 3,000 miles away.
At this point I asked AutoAtlanta to re-​route the package (again). I warned AA that as the receiver of the package I can not do anything. FedEx said to «ask the sender to contact us». Yet again I asked AA, at which point they said they would «take care of it»
I then waited a week to reach back out to them, (FedEx at this point had delivered the package)
I then reached out to AA again, ignored…
I reached out to AA yet again, at which point they told me they had shipped it to the address which was in my eBay profile. (not sure how, as I often order from eBay and they all seem to make there way to Sacramento just fine)
I told AutoAtlanta that I have purchased from them many times over many years and that they were throwing away my business over $ 60!
Still no response of yet.
