To be honest, this office seems a bit shady. The woman at the front desk was okay, semi personable and Dr. Granger was also okay but I have a problem with any medical provider that is so prepared to just hand out strong medication at the drop of a dime. Yes, I have been in a lot of pain but I felt like the examination that was conducted at this facility went lacking. If it wasn’t for the fact that I had been examined by other medical professionals I wouldn’t have been so willing to cooperate with their suggested pain management methods. Also, the last time I was seen I overheard a woman (another patient) asking about her bill. She was informed that her attorney would have that information but they don’t release it to the patients. Why? I’ve worked in the medical field for a good portion of my life and I can’t think of one reason why having a copy of your bill to see your proposed charges would be unreasonable.
I also would like to say the response below is utterly unprofessional. Am I a prescribing physician, no. I thought your staff was fine. I just don’t believe in the practices that are had by a lot of doctors here that hard meds are ok to hand out like candy when not everyone takes them just like talking. Furthermore, if you choose to work on an attorney lien you are then saying you are okay with waiting until settlement OR being paid by the attorney. If there is an issue then speak to them, that doesn’t speak to my character. I would also like to say that it is a persons legal right to hire another attorney or simply fire the one they had if they feel they aren’t receiving adequate representation-​and nobody can control if an attorney releases themselves. If that does happen, don’t you think they just might need their bill in order to pay it? But you don’t want to give them the bill. Just because that is what some people decide to do doesn’t mean everyone does that so your accusations only elude to deeper issues. Good luck to your practice, I’m only letting people know what I experienced but your response shows a level of unprofessionalism that just support my review further.
