A & A Termite and Pest Control

We contacted multiple pest control companies for help with squirrels in our attic and a Termidor termite treatment. Matt with A&A did the most thorough inspection of any of them, and ultimately found active termites where no one else had – even the company that did the home purchase termite inspection we paid for. The termite treatment A&A performed was also more thorough than any other company had discussed – we had some built-​in shelves along two walls of the attached garage, and rather than try to take apart the shelves or just not treat that wall, the guys with A&A drilled diagonally through the cement. Afterward, they sealed up all of the holes they had made to the extent that you can’t even see them unless you’re looking on purpose. The price wasn’t the absolute cheapest of the estimates we obtained, but it was very much on par and we feel that it was a good value.
As for the squirrels, Matt was on point there too – he crawled far into the back of our attic, found an electrical wire the squirrels had gnawed on and one place the squirrels were getting in, and even took pictures to show us these things. We ultimately opted to go ahead and get a full exclusion treatment done. The one squirrel caught in our exclusion trap one evening was promptly picked up the next morning, and we haven’t heard scratching or scurrying since!
We called A&A in the first place because of the great Unilocal reviews, and we’re happy to add to them. It’s also nice to support a family-​owned business. Everyone we interacted with at A&A was great and we would highly recommend them.

I used A&A Termite and Pest after finding them on Angie’s List to put up a radiant barrier in my entire attic. They did a great job, did everything quickly and professionally and for a fair price, and even blew in more insulation to make the insulation smooth again where they had stepped during the install. My attic is so much cooler now and I am saving a lot of money on electricity. They did a great job and am using them again for the wildlife exclusion to protect my perfected attic!

Had our regular exterminator tell us he saw flying squirrel tunnels in our attic and he wanted us to contract with his company. We saw the ad for A&A on Angie’s list and purchased the service. Matt came out and checked out our attic and yes there were tunnels but since we had our house already screened up to prevent, he suspected the tunnels were old. He place several traps in the attic and said he would come back in about a week or so to check. Matt came back as planned and no squirrels were caught, he went on our roof to double check the work of the other person and found some gaps and fixed them up, he was extremely nice as we had a couple of loose panels on our roof that rattled when the wind blew and were very annoying, he tighten those up for us. When I asked him how much extra we owned him, he said nothing it’s included as part of the Angie’s list deal (which was only $ 78). He left us some traps in the attic just in case and he’s going to come back again to double check and smooth out the old tunnels. amazing service, A&A is excellent and Matt is great. Would definitely use these guys.
He came back tonight all clear, he flattened the tunnel removed a few of the traps showed me where he left a few just in case and now I know what to look for. I told my wife to cancel our contract with our other company and call A&A to set up our regularly scheduled visits with them. These guys are honest, hardworking and trust worthy, you just don’t find that easily. Will recommend them to all my friends.

I just built a new home and our main concern was all these bugs around the house and some entering our new home. You can see all the bugs die ASAP once they enter the permitter of the home. They address all our concerns we have, always on time, reasonably priced for home visits. They even set trap for me to catch the lizard annoying us trying to enter our garage.

I bought a bank owned house and during the inspection I found squirrel activities in the attic. So I called Matt to come to evaluate the situation in the weekend. Pretty punctual and he explained everything patiently. I end up using their service doing a full exclusion of the attic. Pretty nice guy and took several days to seal the roof, and several weeks to come back to my house to inspect the traps. Before exclusion there are a crowd of squirrels and mice, but after the service I haven’t spot one till now. Their customer service is very good, will respond and act quickly upon customer’s request and questions. I would recommend this company for everyone who has a rodent issue as mine.

I manage a property in Marietta for my daughter. We were notified by our tenant of a scratching in the attic. We called A&A based on their Unilocal reputation. We were very satisfied by their performance. It is difficult to manage a property but A&A made it easy. They fulfilled every promise — on time, communicated effectively and timely. and they were reasonably price.

Friendly staff, great service and an effective product! We ordered a mosquito treatment from A&A and now we can frolic in our back yard again.

A&A has THE best customer service! I’ve never gotten my house sprayed for bugs but this past summer we’ve had some renovations done to the house and I’ve been tormented by spiders, beetles, and other creepy crawlies. I contacted a bunch of different pest control companies. Sent messages and filled out the contact sheets on a number of different websites, a lot of them being large, well known companies. A&A were the first and quickest to respond. Others I never got a response (…seriously?) or the responses I got were really short and curt (great first impression guys…) or they kept pushing me to set up an appointment before I even got my general questions asked (I hate pushy salespeople). Matt from A&A shot me an email and answered all my questions. They’re a family business and everything is very personal and one on one. I must’ve sent a dozen emails to him asking question after question and he was patient and answered every single one.
I have work and go to school full time so they were flexible with appointment times. Matt came early morning before work. He sprayed the inside and outside of my home. I told him the type of bugs I’ve seen and the problem areas. He also suggested that he do the inside first so once he finished I could lock up and go to work and he would do the outside. Definitely appreciate others respecting my time. I asked him to start in certain areas of the home which he had no problem with. I’ve always been nervous about letting people (even service people) into my home but he was really respectful and didn’t mind me watching him work.
I have a 5 year old English Bulldog who sniffs and licks everything but they assured me the treatment/​spray was perfectly harmless to pets and humans. The treatment has no odor, there’s no wet areas or anything like that. You can’t tell they were even there.
Their prices are competitive with other services. I definitely think it’s worth the money. Matt even had one of those iPhone credit card pay systems which was super convenient to pay on the spot instead of having to wait for your bill and sending a check back. They did mistakenly send me a bill a couple days later, but I called A&A and the lady I spoke to was really nice and had it cleared up for me in minutes. No being on hold or waiting.
UPDATE:
After a couple weeks, I did see a few creepy crawlies. In their defense, we had just finished the last of our basement renovations (walls and insulation were torn out and replaced). Naturally with workers coming in and out, walls being torn open, the weather being hot and wet, I knew there was a chance I would still see bugs here and there. I emailed Matt the next day and he set up an early morning appointment time with me ASAP to come and do a follow up spray.
I’m a new customer so I really can’t say anything about long term bug control, but their customer service and attentiveness has definitely won me over and I’m confident that my home will be bug free with their help.

Prices in line w/​others in market. They were more concerned w/​OUR schedule than THEIRS when setting up appt on shorter notice. Stayed in contact and showed up on time. Service was thorough & deal on Unilocal was helpful.

We’ve used A&A for the past two years. They are reliable and customer focused. I’d recommend them to all my friends and family. We’ve seen a dramatic decrease in bugs, rats, and mosquitos! Matthew is always willing to discuss options and easy to talk too. Our neighbor is using their services too!
