Hands down the best meat and sale prices on beef in ARIZONA. The steak and burger meats are the best sirloin in NEWYORKNEWJERSEYANDMARICOPA. Moved here in 2012 tried all the supermarkets in Chandler and Phoenix and MARICOPA. Thank God they have this BASHAS in MARICOPA. Meat is 10 out of 10 consistently and the shrimp sizes and prices are fantastic.

This store is far superior to frys. Their product quality is always on point and it is never crowded. The best thing about them is that they have the best pizza in maricopa… easily, and it is affordable. Say whatever you want about the slight price difference on some items, it’s worth it to get quality. They have great staff that are always willing to help and are friendly.

I’ve been coming here to this Bashas since moving out here 1 year ago, and the staff, cashiers, stockers have been more than helpful & very courteous.

I actually like this location. Yeah, certain things are overpriced, but the same thing can be said for Frys. I mainly frequent this location for the sales and the meat. Their meat seems better than their surrounding competitors. In addition, I love the covered parking and the fact that it isn’t overcrowded like Frys. It’s always clean and the staff members are friendly at all times.

We have custom ordered two cakes from the bakery. They are always tasty and look great. Several people at our son’s party commented on how good it tasted.

I prefer Bashas’ over Frys. Bashas food quality is superior. Their bakery is excellent. Their donuts are high quality. Frys are barely eatable. Bashas’ pizza is really good too. They use fresh ingredients and cook them in a real pizza oven. The produce is high quality. Their isles are roomy. I hate trying to push my cart through tiny isles like in Frys. True, Bashas is a little more expensive but, If you want quality, there is the saying«Quality is like buying oats –if you want nice, clean oats, you must pay a fair price; however — if you’re satisfied with oats that have already been through the horse — such oats can be had a little cheaper!!»

The store itself is alright. Sometimes they have decent sales. Produce isn’t always that great. We go mainly for the Starbucks, but the Ladies are always incredibly irritated. Not my fault they hate their job/life. Now that Frys has a starbucks I’ll probably not be going back unless they overhaul their employee attitude. I worked at a starbucks in a grocery store. I understand how grumpy the customers can be, but it’s your job to put on a smile and make the customers experience a good one. No matter how badly they need their coffee.

I go only when I want covered parking. That is it. It’s pricey, cluttered, looks dirty and normally has a bunch of elderly or weirdos sitting in the chairs just as you walk in. 2 stars for the covered parking.

Unless there is a sale I don’t shop here. High prices and too few checkout lanes open makes Fry’s across the street a better experience and at cheaper cost.

While in Maricopa for the day to visit friends, we stopped at Basha’s to pick up some Vanilla ice cream and an apple pie to take over to our friends’ house. This store is nice and big and the bakery area is really easy to find. Something that impressed us when we first pulled in? They have shaded carport awnings that cover each and every parking space. That itself is very cool, and with it being summer and very hot now, those shaded awnings are a real blessing! I wish EVERY store had those! The floor in the store didn’t look very clean to me but maybe it was because there was a lot of foot traffic while I was in there, since so many people were shopping that morning. The cashier was very nice and she understood why I didn’t have a Basha’s Thank You card when she asked me(I rarely ever shop there so I don’t feel the need for one). The bagger, on the other hand, kept yawning and wasn’t very polite. He said«Have a nice day» with a stone-faced expression and then yawned again. As far as prices go, if you don’t have their Thank You card, it’s not worth shopping there. They are EXPENSIVE! If I would have had their card, the ice cream I bought would have been $ 2.50 instead of almost $ 6.00 for a container of Dreyer’s French Vanilla! I’ll stick with my regular shopping venues.

Still WIC and EBT heaven and the clerks do not know how to deal with this. Same thing.8 bottles of 40 and cigs paid with cash. then the baby formula with coupons… end up in a line from hell. Frys is alwasy busy. but MUCH better customer service.

They have the best bakery in town. Awesome French-style crusty baguettes!

I recently purchased cooked shrimp from the seafood counter… Ugh!!! Worst shrimp I ever had!!! It was like chewing rubber! What a disappointment. It was old I guess. Bought it to make a shrimp cocktail and use the rest for shrimp scampi. Two items for superbowl Sunday grinds, sucked. Don’t buy the shrimp from Bashas. You’re better off buying the frozen one that’s prepackaged. Will never go back there again. Fry’s has better shrimp!

Ohhh… so much better than walmart. Employees are nicer, the customers inside seem to be less stupid and respectful of other people. Wish my house was closer to bashas than walmart.

With all the traffic this establishment gets on weekends, I’m surprised there haven’t been any reviews yet. This particular Basha’s was built in 2004 and was the first true supermarket in Western Pinal County. It held the market until the Fry’s Supermarket opened across the street a year later. One thing that distinguished this Basha’s over other stores was its inclusion in a test-program the company held in 2007 to put covered parking over most of its spaces. This was the second store to receive them, and it seemed to make a big difference in the summer. The store itself resembles every other Basha’s, with the full-service deli and pizza shop on one end, fruits and vegetables on the other. The pharmacy never seems to have a long line, the wine section is fairly good for a supermarket, and the meat department is the best in its town. The store also seems to be «just the right size.» You’re not walking a mile to get any individual grocery item, but the store is large enough to have anything you need. Prices do seem slightly higher than the Fry’s Market across the street, but this will likely depend on the items you purchase. Are there things I wish I could change? You bet. They put those«Self-service checkout» things in a few years back, and those things are neither for use yourself, nor provide decent service. After seemingly every item is scanned, a prompt comes up asking you to find a customer service rep to review the scan and override a warning message. While you sit there tapping your feet, the lone clerk whose job it is to oversee the«Self-service checkout» area is helping a cashier count money, or pointing a customer in the direction of the dairy section, or selling someone lottery tickets at the service desk. You’re not only not going to save any time using these things, you’re just going to annoy everyone around you with your foot-tapping. Stick to the checkstands staffed by human beings. Another issue that may or may not crop up is the issue of expired products still being on store shelves. This seemed to be an issue in the dairy/deli section of the store. On three or four occasions I have observed foods for sale which were past their expiration date. I mentioned this to the manager, and I have not had the same experience lately. Even still, be aware that this was once an issue. The staff here is always helpful, always cheerful. They will walk you right to what you need and will help you to your car even on the hottest days of the year. Of special note is the meat department, which happily cuts your meat to your specification and has a wider selection than any other place in town. If you’re barbecuing and you live in town, this is your place to prep. The reason this store is so busy on weekends is that it is the last bastion of humanity between Phoenix and either Rocky Point or The Dunes. It is not unusual to see the lot filled with RV’s and toy haulers on Friday afternoons as people take off for points unknown. For any of you considering stopping here on your way out of Dodge, RV and oversize-vehicle parking is available at the North and West portions of the parking lot.(No, your RV won’t fit under the covered parking. No, I won’t tell you how I know this.)
