History

Established in 2001.

Airparamo was founded in early 2001 by Mo Sheldon. Over the years, Mo has trained many hundreds of pilots to fly. Mo is an internationally renowned instructor and award winning pilot.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

I began flying paramotors in early 1998 and have accumulated thousands of flights on paramotors and paragliders. In 2001 I founded Airparamo and have instructed hundreds of pilots to fly over the years. I earned an Advanced Flight Instructor (AFI) certification in 2003 from Aero Sports Connection (ASC) and I earned a Flight Instructor rating from the USPPA in 2005. In 2002 I began manufacturing the successful line of Grazhopper line of trikes. On 2009 we opened a 1500 square foot facility. Also, in 2014 I earned a Sport Pilot license in Weight Shift Trikes.

Prior to starting Airparamo, I was a computer programmer/​manager in Internet related technologies for about 7 years. I also taught college level computer internet courses at the University of Phoenix and University of Missouri. Prior to that I worked as an architect intern for a few years. I hold a Masters Degree in Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis and a Bachelors from University of Rochester.
