I went here in a pinch. Friendliest kindest people here. They all get along and it sounded like neighbors catching up. They are happy with walk-​ins though I called ahead two hours and they booked me. Paula cut my hair and took care to get the layers right and ask me what I wanted. Made sure to tell me what she was doing as she went and took her time. She told me about four times to come back next week if something seemed off or I wanted more taken off. Very precise cut and overhearing people talking put me in a good mood. Paula said people come in to say hi for no reason and stay a minute.
This is a salon that is good at haircuts for people who are, let’s say, not the super trendy necessarily.
I paid $ 40 for a full shampoo consultation cut and styling. My stylist had been in the business for a couple of decades, I’d say. Had worked at a high-​end salon but wasn’t crazy about the atmosphere.
Stylist: «Come back here hon. Oh, you’re already on your way.»
Customer: «See? We’re made for each other.»
