Dr. Remis graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine in 1974, and completed his residency at The Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA in 1978. Post residency, Dr. Remis treated patients and instructed residents for over 10 years in the Glaucoma Consultation Service at the Mass Eye and Ear Infirmary. Since 1980 Dr. Remis has been practicing ophthalmology full time in Marblehead, MA. He specializes in treating cataracts and glaucoma and has extensive experience treating eye disorders such as dry eye syndrome and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Remis performs surgery at the North Shore Medical Center, Salem campus, and works closely with The Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, The Lahey Clinic, and many local primary care physicians to ensure the highest quality in patient care.
