History

Established in 1990.

Droll Designs was started by two woman artist, accidentally. They initially started a custom furniture painting business. But when one of their clients asked for a ceramic piece to go with their furniture, what else could they do, but oblige them. The ceramic pottery was a great success. As the years went by, the company grew and sold their dinnerware around the world. Droll Designs has changed ownership a few times and is a lot smaller now, but has always and still does make people happy to own an every day, functional piece of art.
