Established in 1991.
The Picayune is a Good News Community Newspaper for Burnet, Llano and Blanco Counties. Still free after all of these years The Picayune has been chronicling peoples lives from birth to graduation to marriage to new babies to end of life celebrations. For the past 25 years we have enjoyed telling the stories of those in and around Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Burnet, Kingsland, Granite Shoals, Llano, and all point in between.
