Scott is amazing and made our wedding day so memorable! He truly made us feel so special and made our ceremony one of a kind! Can’t say enough good thing about Scott!

I will start by saying that Scott is absolutely amazing! We found Scott online, as we do not live in Texas (which is where we were wed), and chose him based on all of his raving reviews. We are so lucky to have found him!
From the beginning Scott was more than willing to Skype with my husband and I, as we didn’t have the chance to meet him in person until the day of our wedding since we live in NYC. Even though we never met in person, I felt like I knew Scott because of our constant communication and email exchanges.
Scott walked us through everything we needed to know before the wedding and more. He worked with us to custom tailor our vows, which was really important to my husband and I. Scott had great suggestions and templates that we could reference as we crafted the perfect wording. Without ever meeting us in person, he picked up on our personalities quickly, and really helped to make everything perfect and custom to the two of us.
On the day of the wedding, Scott met with us separately and gave us the opportunity to rehearse our vows so we wouldn’t get caught up on our wording at the altar. I was extremely impressed with all of the small details he rehearsed with us (father hand off, how to hold each others hands during the ring exchange, etc.). The ceremony itself was amazing and everyone was so engaged. There was one point where I got caught up on my wording (due to tears) and Scott helped to get the guests laughing and clapping to help encourage me to collect myself and continue. Scott even had my back and provided me with tissues during the ceremony.
We received so many compliments on Scott during our ceremony. Not only did my husband and I love working with him, but everyone else saw how amazing he is as well. Everything he does is so kind and thoughtful. Scott even sent me helpful tools to change my name and a very sincere and kind note post wedding.
Scott made our wedding even more special and we are so happy he was a part of our day. I highly recommend working with him.

Scott officiated our wedding on 4÷17÷15 and did a FANTASTIC job. I was really nervous and he helped to calm me down and get the crowd comfortable and laughing before the ceremony. He also helped us write a ceremony to include our daughters which was beautiful and priceless. I would definitely recommend Scott to anyone. Not only is he great at his job, but he is sincere, caring and honest. He is the best!

Can I choose no stars? This guy is a fake! He thinks he knows God’s message, but he’s not got one clue! He reels you in acting like he just wants to support your marriage, but he’s actually a judgmental piece of shiz. I have the emails to prove it! DON’T SUBJECT YOURSELF TO HIS SMALL MIND.

We absolutely LOVED Scott! He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He made the ceremony planning process and the actual ceremony itself easy and beautiful. From the first meeting I just KNEW he would be perfect but he still AMAZED me day of the wedding. We couldn’t have been happier with our ceremony. He gave us all the tools to write a perfect ceremony too. He has so many different options and he reviews them all with you prior and then you can build your own ceremony. He is totally un biased and doesnt try and steer you one way or another. He truly only cares about your happiness and making your big day stress/​worry free as well as beautiful and memorable for years to come. For example, have a big military family so we chose to have all veterans stand as well as play «America the Beautiful» by Ray Charles. He made this process perfect and said all the right things to tie everything together. Also, we had vows from my husband to my son at the wedding — MAN he made those words so beautiful and amazing. We keep watching to video over and over. Not only is he professional, he makes EVERYONE and I MEAN EVERYONE relax and calm which is how it truly should be. My husband and I always tell each other that we wish we lived closer to Scott so we could hang out! Chose Scott for your ceremony! You will not regret it no matter what type of person you are! Thank you Scott Payne!

From the minute we met Scott, I knew he would be the perfect person to officiate our wedding. Scott truly cares about the couples that he works with and couldn’t have been more helpful and hands-​on. He took extreme care in putting together a ceremony that fit us as a couple as well as our more traditional families. I loved that he was able to keep the mood light and made our guests feel welcome. My mother in law especially was brought to tears by the beautiful sentiments Scott included in the ceremony. Scott was so much more than our officiant. He is truly an amazing and genuine person and we are honored that he was a part of our wedding day. I would recommend Scott 110%!

Scott is truly the best officiant you could ask for in the area. He originally contacted us from a contact at our venue after having problems getting a priest to come out. He offered his help and advise with what he could even though he was not planning on doing our wedding. When we decided against doing a catholic wedding, we knew Scott would be our officiant! He is very responsive, easy to talk to, cares about the couple as individuals, and probably the best perk is that he sends you a very comprehensive packet with everything you can include in a ceremony, different wordings, verses, poems, and suggestions for ceremonies (traditional ones like unity candle, regional ones, and more modern ones like the wine box). You can take total control of the ceremony or let Scott make one up for you from your preferences and what he gathered about you. He also includes helpful hints for marriage licenses and changing your name. The ceremony went off without a hitch and everyone said it was lovely and touching. He decided to take up our offer to stay for the reception, and I’m glad he did, our wedding was outdoors and covered a few different areas and sometimes had problems gathering people or getting their attention and he helped us make announcements and the like (he has a commanding voice so it really helped!) during the reception for toasts, cake cutting, etc. He also, was very sweet and followed up after the wedding, He really goes above and beyond you can’t go wrong if you book him!

Scott Payne was such a special part of our wedding planning and our wedding day! My husband and I can’t thank him enough for all that he did for us. We are a Dallas couple who planned a Hill Country wedding. When we were deciding who would officiate our wedding, Scott was kind enough to have a Skype date with us so we could see if we meshed and answer questions that we had. We had an instant connection! Scott’s personality is so genuine, loving, and he is full of enthusiasm! He provided us with numerous resources to help us in creating our ceremony. He guided us through every step of the way and the finished product was a custom ceremony that felt truly from our hearts… and it was because we created it! Scott is extremely professional. He came early on the day of our ceremony and walked both parties through what to anticipate. He made my husband and I feel very calm and at ease prior to our ceremony. Scott’s «ice breaker» and other additions to our ceremony made the entire day even more memorable than we could imagine. We had many guests comment on how much they enjoyed our officiant… so props to Scott! We will definitely be recommending him to friends. Thank you, Scott!

We had such a wonderful experience with Scott! He is a genuine and engaging person who helped us tremendously from the very start by providing guidance and options for putting together a ceremony that we absolutely love! He made us feel comfortable throughout the rehearsal and he went above and beyond what was expected of him to make our wedding celebration run smoothly, joyfully, and beautifully! Scott was a blessing to us! We couldn’t have had a better officiant!!! He got to know us personally before the ceremony, calmed our nerves during the rehearsal, and made us laugh and cry during the ceremony itself. He went above and beyond the duties of an officiant and became a coordinator, entertainer, sidekick and most of all, a friend.
Our ceremony went smoothly under his guidance and we are so lucky that he was the one to marry us. He will always hold a special place in our hearts!

It’s all about making your day just right! and Scott Payne is the best officiant I have ever met to do just that! He is more than an minister for your wedding, he is a coordinator, an entertainer, a photographer’s right hand man, and a bride and groom’s best friend! He is well worth every penny you pay for his services!!!
Scott makes the event fun, memorable and function smoothly! He takes the stress out of the day. Scott knows the good posses that a bride and groom want and will assist the photographer in getting them just right.
I think to express it best is at our son’s wedding after lighting the unity candle the bride wanted a song played. The DJ played a few bars then faded out. The bride whispered I wanted the whole song played. Instead of going on with the ceremony, Scott announced, «everyone, this is the Bride and Groom’s day and they want to hear the whole song, so Mr. DJ if you’d be so kind and play their song for us». WONDERFUL! It IS THEIR day and it should be as they wanted. I was thrilled!
After the ceremony Scott assisted the Bride and Groom with certain posses for the photographer and mingled with the guests as the rest of pictures were taken.
I can’t say enough about Scott. If you really want someone that will help make your day JUST RIGHT, then Scott is your man!
