Wife and I bought tile and carpet for our small house. The installers first told us that Lowes forgot to include grout for our tile job. So we called Lowes and they apologized and had some bags sent over to the installers. Unfortunately they didn’t send enough and we then had to drive to the store ourselves to get more bags. Then the installers told us they didn’t have enough porcelain tile cement to finish the job. So we had to make another trip to the store ourselves to get that. Finally at the end of the tile job, the installers told us that Lowes forgot to include enough floor wood trim so they finished with what they had and that we would have to notify Lowes so someone else could come and finish the job. We called Lowes installation to explain and request the follow up and were told someone would call us back and no one has called back in two days. Then to top things off, the carpet installers came today and discovered that they don’t have enough carpet pad so they are now driving to the store to get more pad. This is the worst organized flooring job I have ever experienced. Never again will I use Lowes for a job like this. This is just ridiculous. They have no problems when it comes to collecting the money but can’t get their act together in actually doing the job. I also agree with earlier comments. Their customer service is terrible. They don’t have enough coverage in the flooring department and people are constantly having to wait. Terrible way to run a business.

I rarely get the help that I need at this store. Everyone that works there either knows very little about the section they are in or acts like I am interrupting when I ask for help. Today, I wanted to take advantage of patio clearance. The guy working in that section says there isn’t any sales as he tries to keep doing whatever it was that he was doing. There was a patio clearance promo sign 2 feet away from his head. I point at that and obviously feeling dumb he goes on to say I need to find the yellow stickers and it’s only on demo models. I asked if he was sure on that because Sears has a similar sale & their’s is not only on demo pieces. He said«I think that’s how it is here», not«let me check on that to make sure». So I am in sears right across the street buying a $ 1500 patio set. This exact thing happened at this same store when I bought my lawn mower last year. Sears must love the sad sales skills and lackluster product knowledge from their closest competitor…

We were in need of new flooring for a condo we bought and we live three hours away so we went to Lowes, believing they have good customer service. Were we wrong ! Dealing with the installation has been horrible, and we took off time to be there on site. Installers are suppose to call, but don’t. They show up when we aren’t there, take drinks out of the refrigerator, and leave a huge mess when they leave. Trying to get ANY response from the installation scheduling company is next to non-existent. We even tried to contact the store management team — but no response. In a nutshell, don’t use Lowe’s !!!

During my last trip to Texas I was in need of some supplies for a project I was involved in. I first went to Home Depot and was completely turned off by their horrible customer service! I then went down the road to Lowe’s and it was like night and day! Everyone at Lowe’s was extremely nice and very accommodating, knowledgable and helpful! My husband and I have a 5 year plan. In 5 years we plan on living in Texas! If we land in Marble Falls we will be happily shopping at Lowe’s for our new home!
