History

Established in 2013.

As pet lovers, Silver Hound Dog Walking was established simply in order to fulfill the real needs of pets and pet owners. Without adding restrictions to our services, we felt as caretakers we could be freed to do just that, care. Our goal as dog walkers, pet sitters, and animal lovers is to provide individual care and attention.

Hi,

i’m Zue the founder/​co-​owner of Silver Hound Dog Walking.

Having owned dogs, cats and other small pets all my life i started dog walking/​pet sitting for clients about 10 years ago. As i loved the pets i was walking/​sitting and got along so well with the owners, I quickly owned many referrals.

Meanwhile i earned my Degree in International Business — Management, and started working as a District Manager in the Retail Industry. As I learned a lot in how to run a business and providing excellent customer service i grew more and more tired of working 90+ hours/​week without any real «happiness reward».

I thought back how when i came to the States from Germany (where i grew up) with a big dream of having my own business. That’s when it dawned on me to make my Hobby my «Dream Come True»! Having a passion and actually living the passion of taking care of pets and their owners peace of mind is what i do and what i do best.
