R & R Towing Service

Good stuff. Super chill tow-​truck driver, who first tried to jump my stall-​happy car and then helped push it down the driveway, into the street and on to the back of the flatbed truck.
We only had to go about a half-​mile to the nearest garage, so it was a quick trip, but the driver was pleasant and conversational, bringing me to where I needed to go quickly and efficiently.
My only point of contention (and it’s a minor one) is that when unloading our car off the flatbed, the car was allowed to descend too quickly, scraping the front bumper against the flatbed surface. No permanent damage was done, which I was thankful for, but it was hair-​raising for a brief moment.
Otherwise, it was A-​OK!

I needed someone to tow my vehicle to a repair shop, so I was pretty stoked when I found out that this place was just around the corner from where I needed to take my car. The number on Unilocal is accurate and the process is straight to the point:
Call R & R Towing, give them a little bit of information about your car, where you want them to pick up the vehicle, and to where. That’s it. The driver will give you an estimate and he will take care of the rest from there.
I was charged $ 75, which is a bit steep – I’m used to paying around $ 40 and that would be good for roughly 10 miles. However, I think the driver came from a different area and not from the office, so I’m thinking that factored in. Still, it’s $ 20 cheaper than another towing place down Newark Way. The truck they use is a large flatbed (that’s a good thing).
I did not catch the driver’s name but he was nice to talk to and helpful; he knows what he’s doing. I had to wait about 30 minutes before the truck came by, but if ever I need another tow, I wouldn’t mind giving this place a call again.
