Inspirational dance

Our treasured youngster has been doing tap and ballet. It is great. The studio is very small and nothing fancy, that is my only complaint but I am okay with this because it is in an excellent location. Going to Inspirational Dance has made us feel as a family that we are running with an extremely cool crowd. I too want to wear the «Inspirational Dance» sweat pants, I wonder if they come in my size? All the teachers are cool, kind and genuinely happy to be there teaching. Ms Dancette (the owner) is an excellent dancer herself and just an all around cool person as far as I can tell from our convos. And the kids end of year recital! I was dancing in my seat, I was yelling with an ecstatic mob. Sure we were the parents of the darlings on stage but there was not a dull moment. The event was amazingly choreographed and elements were as good as a Broadway show. I’ve danced for years and years and I have sat through excruciating events (even my own performances were bad). And I have not seen anything else as much fun.

After looking at many dance schools for my daughter’s first attempt at dance I landed on iDance. I loved the vintage vibe to the small studio. I further loved that it forces drop off by not having space to accommodate parents to stay. I find children usually progress better without an audience.
The teachers are dolls, nurturing and caring. My daughter is having a wonderful time here. They have a competition troupe but this is not a place that pressures students or tries to make every child a star. It’s about learning the routines, movements and providing a dance foundation. Should you or your child want to go deeper into dance then they can audition for the dance troupe.
So far I like it very much. I can’t wait to see what the year end show at SOPAC is like.
